take her out
Chapter 7-
Subtitle: take her out.
Solace lay there inside the warm bathtub.
She knew the heap of clothes that were placed on and beneath her was what made her feel warm.
Her heart was beating fast with each passing second and her eyes clamped shut in a tight way. She has been in the same position since the Alpha left and she was scared that if she opened her eyes she would meet his cold gaze once more.
She didn't know whether she stayed there in the tub for an hour or more.
She could remember his words about her being his servant and it somehow made her feel relieved and sad at the same time, she didn't know why.
She had finally decided that enough was enough and she is tired of staying in the same position so she starts by opening her eyes.
After that she pulled herself to a stance, making some of the clothes fall to the floor.
She looked around the cold bathroom for a moment before stepping out of the bathtub. She picked all the clothes that had fallen to the floor and dropped them back into the tub before making her way towards the exit of the luxurious looking tub as quietly and gently as she could.
She reached out for the door handle and pulled it open before going out of the bathroom Into the bedroom.
Unlike earlier, the room was not too cold as the windows were closed and so were the curtains.
This made the room awfully dark.
Fear gripped Solace for a second as she looked round the room, she was afraid.
She was afraid that the cold Alpha might be sitting casually on a chair in an unknown corner of the room, staring daggers at her soul and it made her knees weak.
She didn't want to face that Alpha.
"What am I even talking about? I'm his servant."
She hissed to herself before navigating her way to the door of the room.
She hoped and prayed that the door would not be locked and to her greatest luck and pleasure the door opened when she pulled the knob and she made a little happy sound before stepping out of the room.
'where am I even going?'
She couldn't help but ask herself but then she didn't care.
She might end up wandering around and will eventually be caught and taken back into the room.
She knew she wouldn't be able to escape because she knew nothing about the new place and the people living here so she knew what she had to do was obey the alpha and serve him like a dog.
She closed the door gently as if afraid it might draw attention towards her if she does it loudly.
"Where are you going?"
Solace heard a husky voice from behind which made her jump up in fear with a slight scream.
"I...I... I'm sorry... I was just going to get some fresh air."
She muttered. She made sure to fix her eyes on the floor as she didn't want to take the nasty risk of looking at the man in the eye.
"Where are you going?"
The man asked again.
She gently took her eyes up from the floor but still avoided his eyes.
She could see how he stood. He stood like a golden statue with his hands folded behind his back.
"Where are you trying to escape?"
He asked.
Solace swallowed a large amount of saliva as she saw him take two steps towards her, closing the gap between them in an instant.
"Eer..."
She stuttered.
"Were you trying to escape? Huh, servant?'
He asked again.
Solace quickly clasped her hands together in fear.
"I swear I wasn't... I just wanted to look around... I'm sorry."
She apologized while shaking her head profusely.
Alpha Tristan's large cold hands landed on her chin and pulled her face up roughly so she could stare at him.
Solace's eyes felt watery at once and she wanted nothing more than to stop looking at him but she couldn't.
His long and luscious hair looked messy and a handful of stands danced over his forehead, slightly covering his left eye. She noticed a small X shaped scar on the right side of his forehead.
"Why are you acting so pathetic? You weren't like this."
Alpha Tristan muttered in a silent voice but it was audible enough for Solace's sharp ears to pick up.
Tristan felt mixed emotions as he looked at the lady in front of him.
He particularly hates ladies that act so weak and pathetic in front of him but what can he do?
He has to make an exception when it comes to her and he has to tolerate her.
He could see the fear in her eyes and he suddenly remembered what Klaus said about him acting too scary in front of her.
He suddenly stopped holding her chin roughly and he let go of her face.
Solace could see the swift change in emotions from the way his dark eyes gently softened.
"It's pointless to run away from me or this pack if in fact you were thinking of doing so. The sooner you start thinking of this pack as your home the better for you."
Alpha Tristan said and Solace nodded like a fool.
"For now you are my servant. You'll follow me around if necessary and you'll come at once when I call you, you'll not disobey me and you'll do everything I say. Is that understood?"
The Alpha asked.
"Yes.... Sir.."
Solace muttered with her lips trembling.
"It's Alpha Tristan to you. Don't call me sir."
The Alpha said before he gently pushed her aside and opened the door to his bedroom.
"Come with me."
He said before walking into the room and heading for the closet at once.
He suddenly stopped walking when he noticed she was not following him, she just entered and stood by the door.
"Close the door and sit on the chair over there, I won't take long."
He muttered as he used his face to point towards a chair that was at the left corner near a table.
Solace wobbled her way towards it and sat quietly.
"My room is too cold so you can't sleep in here. The warm room you slept in upstairs is yours for now. I'll have Ian clean it out for you so you can sleep there. But make sure you come to me once I call you."
The Alpha said before opening the door of the closet and going in.
Solace breathed a sigh of relief at once.
She felt free even if it's for a moment.
"Why does he even need me as a servant when he has many male guards and subordinates to follow him around? What exactly is my job as his servant?"
Solace couldn't help but ask herself.
Meanwhile Alpha Klaus was trying his best to look for a nice warm cloth to wear as it was freezing outside.
He is never really the type to think too much about what he is wearing but at the moment he did.
As he went through his numerous collection of clothes he couldn't help but drag out one of his smallest hoodies from his hanger. He knew she was probably freezing as she doesn't have any sweater. He also took out an extra pair of socks.
He might be a cold man but he is certain about things he cares for.
He can't just stand in front of Solace and tell her that she is his mate and he has been looking for her for years.
The lady looks terrified and from the information he got from his spies her life for the past five years has not been nice.
He'll have to take Klaus's advice and take things slow for the meantime.
With the way his schedule is he can't just keep her sitting around alone all day, he needs a cover and an excuse to carry her around with him and that's why he is going to make her act the role of his servant.
He can't just tell his pack that she is his mate either because they will definitely reject her, even if he wants to keep her his pack needs to fancy her first.
It will be impossible for a werewolf without a scent and a wolf like her to be a Luna.
He wants to fix that but before then he will need her to toughen up.
Alpha Tristan exited the closet with a hoodie in his hands and he walked towards Solace and dropped it on her lap along with the socks.
"Put these on. You need to accompany me to the seamster's plaza to get my outfit for a ceremony tomorrow."
He said before turning towards the table to grab his car keys.
He could have simply called the tailors over to bring his clothes as the Alpha but then he wanted to take Solace out with him.
She seemed like she needed some fresh air earlier on.
