Chapter 8_

Subtitle: kind gestures

Solace wobbled after the tall Alpha who was walking really fast.

She had on the dark blue jean she's had on since she left her home and was kidnapped and also has on the same loose black blouse.

She hasn't taken a bath for more than a day at least and she felt extremely dirty.

The Alpha didn't even care whether she had taken her bath or she looked okay for him to carry around, after all she is nothing but his servant.

The only thing he let her do was have some sandwich and a small piece of steak, she still felt very hungry.

He was at least considerate enough to give her a large hoodie that was obviously his own since it almost swallowed her and also a warm pair of black socks.

At first Solace didn't want to wear it but then Alpha Tristan insisted and made her wear it before she left the beautiful pack house with him.

She immediately knew why he was insisting she wear the hoodie and socks because she was hit by a very cold and freezing temperature the moment they stepped out of the mansion.

As she looked around her new and unfamiliar surroundings she could tell it might snow very soon and that was probably why it was so cold.

Compared to her former home, this new place has very nasty weather.

The Alpha had told her to wait for him by the veranda that was surrounded by greenish plants that made the scenery look like they were in a garden.

Although a few flowers were visible they weren't much and they looked very frail probably because of the weather and season.

She stood there by the veranda and waited in the coldness of the evening for the Alpha to show up.

She knew it'll be dark very soon.

There weren't many people outside except for a few guards who went up and down doing absolutely nothing.

After waiting for about fifteen minutes the Alpha finally showed up but this time he drove a nice and sleek black truck to the front of the mansion and parked it a few feet away from solace.

He got down from the truck and called her to come over.

Solace nodded like a little girl and wobbled her way towards him, although she had on a long trousers the cold still made her legs feel weak and stuff and she wished she would feel the amount of warmth she felt Inside the mansion, but she knew it wouldn't be possible.

"Get in the car."

The Alpha muttered as he opened the door for her.

Solace stared at the cold and rigid looking man in front of her as he held open the front door of the car in a stoic manner, almost as if it wasn't a job he'll do on a normal day but he still looked cool doing it.

Solace hesitated as soon as she was in front of the opened car door.

She stared at his hands that held open the car door without saying a word.

"What are you waiting for? Get in the f*cking truck!"

A loud snap from Alpha Tristan dragged her back to her senses as she quickly climbed into the truck.

With one loud bang the car door shut and the Alpha walked around and entered the other side of the truck.

He closed the door and whined up the glass. Although some of the air that had flowed into the car earlier was trapped inside it still felt slightly warmer than outside and Solace was very glad.

She kept quiet and gently massaged her cold hands together to keep herself warm while the Alpha put on his seat belt.

He suddenly leaned towards Solace and helped her clap her seatbelt in place which made her gasp slightly. Her breathing halted as if he had pressed a pause button on her and she could only breath after he had helped her out with her seatbelt.

The Alpha then leaned back into his seat and started the car before driving out of the park compound.

The drive was slow and a little bit long and the car got warmer and warmer with each passing second. It was as if the Alpha had turned on the heater in the car and Solace was very glad he did.

She looked out of the window and focused on the streets and sceneries In which they drove by.

The pack looked really quiet and clean and it looked nothing like her former pick which was more modernized like a human territory.

This particular pack looked chill and more greener than any pack she's seen before.

They drove by gardens, orchards, farms, plantation and beautiful trees and although no one was out on the farms and no livestock were visible probably because of the cold weather she knew this is a very organic pack and they probably farm what they eat themselves.

All these made her think and compare what life in this new pack will be like compared to her former pack.

Certainly, this pack will be more peaceful and less noisy because not many people would probably live there.

Solace was so engrossed in staring out of the window that she didn't notice Alpha Tristan who occasionally stole glances at her every minute.

She looked so invested in her surroundings which mesmerized the Alpha.

So many thoughts ran through his mind and he could only discuss such thoughts with his wolf.

' Do you think she likes our pack? Will she be happy living here?'

The Alpha asked his wolf Zachery.

' She has lost herself once and it took us time to get a hold of her. Although our pack isn't anything like her former pack, I have a feeling she likes it here and will be happy with time if we treat her right and give her a peaceful life.'

His wolf replied which made the Alpha node quietly as he stared at her beautiful side profile.

Solace is a creature of beauty.

Her beauty is a unique kind that not many women have. She is built differently and the Alpha likes it.

Her face, which wasn't long or round but looked rather oval, looked sharp from the side and her jawline looked very smooth and well defined.

Her pointy nose stood elegantly against the side of her face and her plum lips looked full yet a little bit dry and chappy due to the weather.

Her skin looked like it had been sun-kissed which was unlike most of the women in Crimson pack who are known for their visibly pale and fair skin, this woman stands out.

Although she isn't as tall as an average male she is still taller than most women and she looked really healthy which was a good sign at least, her parents were not starving her.

Solace had no idea how much those dark prying eyes were glued on her at intervals.

They soon reached their destination which was in front of a large and beautiful plaza built mostly of glass.

From inside the car Solace could see all the beautiful clothes that were placed inside the glass plaza on the mannequins and they looked really nice.

The Alpha looked for a place to pack his car properly and he opened the door of his car and got out.

He turned to look at Solace and muttered " do not open the door" before he closed his door and walked into the large plaza.

Solace sat in the car in daze not knowing what to do since the Alpha told her not to open the door.

She didn't know why he said that and it baffled her since he is the one that insisted on bringing her along to probably help him carry some of the things he will buy.

She didn't sit inside the car for too long though because the door to the plaza opened shortly and she saw the Alpha running down the stairs with something in his hands.

By now it has started snowing really slowly and Solace knew it would be freezing outside, she was already shivering.

The Alpha ran towards her own side of the door and opened in.

"Step down."

He muttered and Solace nodded as she quietly got down from the car onto the cold ground.

She couldn't move though because the alpha was standing right in front of her.

"Wear this quickly."

The alpha said as he handed her a heavy and large coat.

Solace's face lit up in surprise and happiness as she quickly took the coat from him and put it on to keep herself warm.

She felt a tinge of happiness in her heart over the little gesture the Alpha had shown her.

Who would've thought the cold and scary Alpha would be so considerate to hand her a coat?

As itf that wasn't enough he leaned towards her and wore a chunky black beanie over her head and adjusted it to cover her ear.
