who is the new girl
Chapter 6-
Subtitle: Who is the new girl?
Alpha Tristan grabbed a shirt from his closet the moment he came out of the bathroom, he threw it on and walked towards the door that was not closed properly.
He sighed as soon as he was out of the door and faced Klaus who was standing by the door, waiting for him.
"How's she? Is she alright?"
Klaus asked as soon as he sighted the alpha.
"Why are you so worried about her? Do you think I'll hurt her or something?"
Tristan asked, making Klaus roll his eyes.
"I know you more than anyone. In case you don't know, you are a very scary person."
Klaus muttered as he began to walk away from the door and towards the large round living room.
"You said the trade market has been restricted. I didn't quite get what you were saying, please explain yourself."
Tristan asked as he tried to catch up with his friend who had slid past the living room and is now taking the stairs that lead down to the lowest floor.
The pack house is a very fancy yet old school building that is not that big, it contains just three floors and since the Alpha has a very small family he didn't see the need to build a very big house.
He preferred a small and cozy house he could wander around in easily.
"Like I said yesterday, the other Alpha's on the west coast are not budging and they are refusing to open up their pack borders to trade with our pack."
Beta Klaus replied as they both walked down the stairs slowly.
"And what could be their problem huh? They know it's fruitless to defy me so what point are they trying to prove?"
The Alpha asked in a hoarse voice.
"According to the rumors flying around they are jealous of how fertile our once desolate pack has turned and they are not happy about the amount of fruitful harvest of crops that came out of the pack ever since we made farming our major source of revenue."
Klaus muttered.
"I'm hungry.. let's grab something in the kitchen first, we can talk there."
The Alpha suddenly said as soon as they reached the first floor of the pack house, Klaus nodded and led the way towards the door that leads to the massive kitchen.
"So why are they jealous of our crop? They have their own source of revenue too and they could also farm and get crops. What's their deal?
Tristan asked in an annoyed tone.
"Well according to the rumors I've gathered they're trying to sabotage our way of making revenue.
It is true that they also produce crops in their packs but since their packs are very old they have managed to create a business lighthouse in their packs. They have access to and own stuff in finance, management, textile, production of beverages and many others... In fact they are well off since they are closer to humans and they often mingle with them. While our pack is not an old pack, you've only built it from scratch not too long ago and it has recently begun to flourish. They know that we rely on them and need them to build revenue and trade."
Klaus explained.
Both he and Tristan have seated at the mini dining table and the elderly woman in charge of the cooking was fixing a sandwich for them.
"I understand what they're trying to do."
The Alpha said with a laugh.
"They want to cut off contact with my pack so I won't make any money. We need their packs and market chains to make money. We need them to buy our crops with money so that we will then use that money to cater to other necessities apart from food. They are trying to hinder that so it'll cause a crash in my pack's economy."
The Alpha pointed out.
The elderly maid dropped two different plates in front of them and they immediately began to dig into the food in front of them.
"Those darn b*stards!"
Klaus snapped in annoyance as he stabbed his fork into the sandwich In front of him.
"What do we do about them?"
Klaus asked.
"I'm going to have to pay those nasty Alpha's a visit myself."
Tristan said.
"It seems they've forgotten that they're not the only packs on this planet.
In the meantime, cancel all the deliveries that are stuck at their borders and change the coast, we'll go south and trade with the smaller packs there. Although they are small and command very little power they'll do themselves good by trading with me. After all, they'll need to be on my good side because they'll need it in the future.``
Tristan concluded before stuffing his mouth with a massive piece of well cooked beef. Klaus took the hint that the Alpha was probably done talking and does not want to say anything anymore so he also concentrated on the food in front of him.

"Ian!"
A slim and foxy looking lady called as soon as she was inside the cold room.
She could tell the person she is looking for is in the room and he was aware of her presence so she further proceeded into the room.
Delta Ian who had just gotten out of the shower had long a black trouser on, he had a black shirt in his hands and he was trying to put it on when he heard a familiar voice calling out his name.
"Why are you quiet? I've been calling you for almost an hour now but you won't pick my call and you are giving me the cold treatment now too. Why didn't you answer when I just called you?"
She asked as she stood in front of him with her hands akimbo.
"What is it this time around?"
The tired Delta asked as he adjusted the shirt he had just put on.
"There's a new b*tch that's bothering the Alpha. Who's she?"
The lady asked.
"What are you talking about, Madison?"
Ian asked as he sat down on his bed.
"As I was coming out of the Alpha's room this morning I happened to run into his unfriendly Beta who had another lady with him. It looked as if they were there to see the Alpha and that nasty Beta even pulled her into the Alpha's room. Who is she? Why does she get to see the Alpha?"
Madison threw questions at Ian who sighed and threw his body back on his bed.
"Is this why you are here?"
He muttered a question.
"Heck yes! Who the f*ck is she? I couldn't even smell her and she seemed weird. Why does she get the Beta of this pack to escort her into the Alpha's chamber? No one ever gets that type of special treatment!"
Madison yelled.
Ian kept quiet.
Madison jumped on the bed and sat down beside him.
"You are the Delta and third in command! You should know about that lady! You better start talking!"
Madison snapped causing Ian to get up from the bed abruptly in annoyance.
"Will you give me a break and stop bothering me? So what if there's a new lady that wants to see the Alpha?
Huh? I've told you to stop being delusional ages ago... If there was a chance that the Alpha likes you he would have made it known a long time ago so stop being such a sore sight!"
Ian scolded Madison but then his face softened up as soon as he saw the hurt in her eyes.
"Okay please don't look at me like I'm some monster... I'm barely telling you the truth!"
Ian muttered, hoping it'll make the lady stop glaring at him but it didn't work.
He knew then that he had to give her what she wanted or he would not have any peace.
"The lady... I don't even know her either, but the Alpha had been looking for her for about two years now. He's had me out many times on the mission to find her, that's why I've been working as a spy. It was to find that lady. I don't know who she is to him and why he asked me to find her but now my life as a lowly spy is over since I've found her already. I can now assume my original role. Klaus has been doing both mine and his job which has made him the Alpha's favorite but I plan on changing that."
Ian explained.
"No!"
Madison yelled.
"There is no way she's the Alpha's mate! He won't take someone as weak as her as his mate! I'm one of the strongest and well trained female wolves in this pack and I deserve to be his chosen mate. All my hard work can't go down the drain because a certain b*tch showed up."
Madison muttered with a sore look on her face.
She got up from the bed and Ian could tell that her chest was moving up and down in anger.
He knew she was furious but he didn't want to say anything further, besides, he needs to work hard to impress the Alpha too so whether Madison gets to marry the Alpha or not doesn't really affect him.
He watched her walk out of the room and he heaved a sigh as he heard his phone ring.
