chapter 6
Nea POV
I just returned to the palace when I realized that it was already noon. I am very curious about the stories of Hyea, the little fairy. She became my friend and I am happy with that.
But my happiness was wrecked when I saw Father patiently waiting in my room. His emotion is unreadable.
"A-Father?!" I was surprised after a few minutes of staring at Father. Sh*t! What's up?!
"Wherever you went, I don't care..." I breathed a sigh of relief at what he said. "I just want you to stay away from Tyron. You don't want to see your sister get angry right." It wasn't a question but a statement.
I took a deep breath before smiling at Ama. "I will, but also, tell Tyron that too. He's annoying the hell out of me, and I hate it."
I didn't know why but father stilled. He has this surprised look on his face.
"I will..." He said after a few seconds. I frowned at this act. "I will take my leave. Now Nea, before I forget, your fiancé is gonna visit again this coming Saturday. You better show up, or else you know what will happen." It's cold here.
After he told him, he immediately disappeared. I rubbed my forehead when what you said sank into my brain. What the hell! Is that coming back?!
Why me? Can it be Natasha, right? If they want to fire me, I will. It's not like they're trying to get me married to a strange man I don't even know.
"My life is messed up." I whispered softly.
"Your life is really messed up Nea."
I jumped in shock when I heard Hyea's voice. How did he get here?
I faced it with a frown, while simply touching my chest. "Pa-Pan— have you been here for a while?"
He nodded and smiled bitterly. "Why don't you leave? You know, go to that world, to the world where no one knows who you truly are. The world has a lot of bad people but there are also a lot of good people. You know, that's really your world. Try something new Nea. Not just sulking in this hell."
It refers to hell as the palace. No not just the palace. But the whole kingdom.
He is also right. Why not try something for a change? It's really easy, that's where my world is. That is where I will belong. I was just crazy about demanding attention from my family, who didn't even consider me a family member.
They did nothing but wreck my heart into pieces. All I want is to be loved, was my wish too hard for them to grant?
Do I really need to ask for attention? Because in fact, no matter what I do, there is nothing. It all backfired. Nothing I did made them smile. All I did was make them angry and beat the sh*t out of me.
"Ahem..." My traveling spirit woke up when Hyea opened her mouth and turned to face me. Then her little hands caressed my cheek. "Come on. Stop thinking about nonsense, what I want now. Make a decision. This time, make your decision worth it. This time, put your life on the line."
I smiled. She is right. I have to at least try. I have to see how a new world welcomes me.
And now, I have made up my mind. I took a deep breath and smiled. "I'm going to that world Hyea, I want to forget. I want to feel what I didn't feel inside this palace. I want to be free."
"Good answer. In case you are ready. You know where you are going. I will be waiting, be careful." He said and disappeared like a bubble.
There's no turning back. This is my final decision. To leave and live in the world that other people want to be here for a long time.
I lay on my bed and thought about what I would choose out of the three conditions, I know I said the first one. But for the time being, I want to be sure. I want to have no regrets in the end.
After so many sighs, I finally made my decision and took the map. I immediately put it back in my hidden library and so was the book about the world I wanted to visit.
"This is it." I smiled and put on the black cloak, then I looked at every corner of my room. "Goodbye my comfort. And thank you." I bowed before teleporting to the place where the portal lies.
Noah POV
"Noah, your brother hasn't come down for a while. Where is he?!" Father was angry.
I bravely met Father's gaze. "I don't know, but Jc said that Nea is not in her room. I don't know where she is, and I intended not to know where she is." I'm cold.
"You do have a point." Father nodded and continued reading the book. I, on the other hand, continued to answer what I needed to get into a famous magic school.
After a week, not a single Nea showed up. And now her fiancé is here, yet him? I don't know where it is.
I frowned when I saw Jc rushing. "My dear King, the princess is not in her room, nor can I see any sign that she was there the other day." This is how his face cannot be painted.
"Did you see what happened? Where he went?" Ama's harvest is cold. The Hiore prince's wolf companions trembled in fear.
Psh, weak.
Jc nodded. "I tried, dear king, but no— it seems that something is preventing me from knowing where the princess went. It seems that she doesn't want us to know. And for some reason, it seems that her existence suddenly disappeared from the entire kingdom, and we only remember him."
We all raised our eyebrows. How did that happen?
"What do you mean by that?"
I blinked because for the first time we were facing the prince of Hiore, he just spoke. Usually, it's the people who talk.
"I don't know either... Even if you try, ask the soldiers, helpers and the townspeople if they know Princess Nea Samantha Ludhiana, they will always say no." Jc was half shouting and half whispering.
We were even more confused by what he said.
"This shouldn't happen! Find my fiancé!" The Prince of Hiore's authoritative order to his colleagues suddenly disappeared, as did the Prince.
The next thing I knew was that Ama, Natasha, Tyron and Jc were the only ones left. But after a few minutes, Tyron suddenly disappeared and it made Natasha's face unreadable.
What happened? Where the hell is that bitch?! His future wife actually ran away. Thank you What a freak.
