chapter 5

Natasha POV

When Father repeatedly slapped Nea, I couldn't help but grin. That's just something for him. She dared to take Tyron away from me.

"Now Nea! I want you to stop yourself from asking attention from us, because we won't give it to you. Do you understand?!" Ina shouted angrily at Nea.

Kuya Noah approached Nea and kicked him. I felt a little pain from what they did, but I didn't care. She still the person I hate.

'I don't like you Natasha, I like Nea, and not you.'

My head felt hot and my vision darkened when I remembered what Tyron had said. What is wrong with Nea?!

I didn't realize that Nea was right in front of me and I immediately smacked her in the face. His already bleeding face bled even more.

"Let's go, Natasha sweety, we shouldn't be paying attention to that useless girl." I heard what Mother said.

I smiled sweetly and nodded. I looked at Nea's bloodied face again, and glared at it. My gaze dropped at the necklace that was on the table.

My jaw dropped as I remembered where I saw it. It was a moon shaped necklace, and I saw Tyron holding it a few days ago.

So he gave it to Nea? How cheap!

Nea POV

When they left I immediately used my power and treated my own face. I really wanted to scream earlier, but I stopped myself.

My screams did nothing. Nothing.

I held my chin because it was throbbing. Father, they beat him too much. So even though I have treated it, it still lingers.

Absent-mindedly, I walked to my bed and threw myself on it. Then the next thing I knew is, I was crying until I was tired and fell asleep.

The next morning. I woke up early and left the kingdom. I carried the map with me and followed where it led me to the lost portal.

I was not disappointed, I found it. It was inside a huge cave and I even passed some wild animals.

"Nice." I said full of admiration. I looked around the whole place. It has little lights, different lights, the portal is the tree itself.

It's so beautiful and it's so magical. "So this is the portal? It's beautiful." I thought about what I read in the book.

'There are three ways to get inside the portal, it's whether you lose your memory, your family will forget about you and finally... You won't forget or be forgotten, but the pain or the fear will remain.'

Out of those three, the only one I liked more was the third one. But... It's ugly if I remember what happened here. This has been one of a hell world for me. So maybe, if I enter the portal, I will choose the first one.

I'd rather lose my memory about who I am, but not about where I came from. So in short I remember this place, but not who I am, and that includes my family.

"This is a relaxing place... I can't believe this place exists. This is such a beautiful place. Just aesthetic." I smiled at this.

I sat near the tree. I was just looking at the beautiful plants, and then, I was surprised when the flower bloomed. Then a fairy came out of it. It still yawned.

"Oh hello." Immediately he noticed me staring at him. I immediately sat up and smiled.

"H-Hi. Ahm... Are you the one guarding here?" I will ask.

He nodded and suddenly his wings came out, then he flew around me. I just follow his every move.

"I am, what do you mean dear princess of Tsuki?" This is it. My face crumpled when he said this.

"Nothing, just making sure. I thought the map wasn't real." I held up the map and smiled. "Why do you know me? I mean I've never seen you before."

She chuckled. He looks so cute. Just by looking at her purple wings, I wish I could get all of you.

"All the fairy's know you... No one could forget the poor unloved Princess." I winced at this. "Oh don't get me wrong... We just can't forget you, we really want to help you, but sadly, someone ordered us not to."

I frowned at the last thing he said. Someone ordered them not to? Why? Maybe it's too personal, so I won't ask.

"It's good to have a visitor for at least a year now."

I was pulled out of my reverie when he spoke. A year?

"A year? You mean only last year someone came here?" I asked. It nodded. "I thought-"

"Yeah, this is a lost portal, dear princess. But that doesn't mean you can't find it even if you don't have a map. Yeah some say this is just a legend but no. It's true as you can see." It flew closer to the tree. "That prince found the portal and entered. Now, he is inside the human world."

"What did he choose out of the three?" I have a curious question.

He laughed softly at my question. "I shouldn't be telling you this, but since you seem to want to know, then it was the last condition." This is it. "Well it's not— I mean nothing bad happened to him so he picked that. He comes back here when he wants to, and he came back just one day. And you don't need to worry, since he has entered here, the same condition won't apply to him too."

The same condition? So it means that the tree no longer asks him about the conditions to enter? Cool. I didn't read that in the book.
