chapter 7
Someone's POV
"Cathy! Get back here! Quick!" I yelled at my son who was very naughty.
Now we are going to a place where they say there is a portal to another world, although no one has been there so I guess it's just a bluff.
Different world really? That's absurd.
"Mommy! There's a woman here!" My son's voice echoed.
Is there a woman? What?! In the middle of the forest?! What...
I quickly went to the place where I heard my son, and I did see a woman. It was wearing a black cloak. It was lying on the ground and seemed to be unconscious.
Her hair color is also different. It was colored blue. And hell she is white, it's like dead with her skin color.
I knelt down to get a good look at the woman, I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw that she was unharmed.
I have to call my wife, Cathy and I can't lift the girl. She's only 7 for pete's sake.
When my husband arrived, he was immediately surprised by the woman's hair color. But his concern for the child still prevailed, that's why he picked him up and brought him to our house.
After a day the girl, who I guess is about 14-15 years old, is still unconscious. She is beautiful. Has this long hair, he's also tall so at first glance, you can't tell if he's still young or not.
"Mommy she's beautiful." I smiled at what Cathy said. I agree. "Can she be my sister?"
I ruffled my son's hair and kissed him on the cheek. "We'll see how this goes baby, we know that Ate has a family, and we need to bring her home." Cathy's shoulders slumped at what I said.
"Hmm..."
Cathy and I looked down at the woman because she made a noise. He got up and sat on the end of the bed facing me.
No noise came out of my mouth just because I was really beautiful to him. She has these kissable lips that make you want to apply your lips to her lips. Just wow, she is so perfect.
"W-Who are you? Where am I?" He asked, I was about to answer when he spoke again. "Who am I?"
'Who am I?'
'Who am I?'
'Who am I?'
Who is he? Why doesn't he remember anything? Why is he in the forest? Why?
There are many questions I want answered, but he can't answer them, especially since he doesn't know himself. What should I do?
"Oh, Callie hon, is she awake?"
I immediately looked at the bedroom door and saw Levi, my husband.
"A-Ah yeah, p-but hon, he doesn't remember anything, he doesn't know himself." I tried to smile. It still hasn't sunk in my brain. What do we do?
"You don't remember anything hija?" I didn't realize that Levi was already close to the boy, he was also next to the boy. "Don't you remember where you came from?"
The boy was silent for a moment. She was thinking.
"There is, but... I can't remember much... It's all blurry." This is it.
My husband nodded. "Is that so?" He looked at me and smiled. "Hon, can't we just adopt her?" He said.
"That's a good idea. If you want hija, we will be your parents while you remember nothing." I smiled at this. I'd love her to be my daughter, she looks so beautiful, sweet.
He smiled sweetly and came to me and Levi and hugged us. Cathy joined in. She was even happy because she said she was his sister.
"Is it okay if we name you Caleigh?" Levi said excitedly. Caleigh's eyes lit up and she nodded. "Yes!"
This scream made Cathy and Caleigh and I laugh. I don't know about Levi but he really wants to adopt. And now here is Caleigh.
A week later, Cathy and Caleigh became close. And we decided to study Caleigh, she is smart, easy to learn.
"Caleigh son! Your Daddy and I have something to say!" I shouted loudly because maybe he didn't hear me. He and Cathy were busy drawing and playing puzzles.
"Okay!" It screamed.
I only counted a few seconds and it was in front of me. She smiled so sweetly that's why I smiled back. He sat on the sofa and frowned when he looked at me.
"Ahem... So. We decided that, if you study Caleigh, you will be a 10th grader this coming Wednesday." My wife was smiling.
His face lit up. "Really?! Really Mommy and Daddy?!" He was smiling.
"Yes sweetie, it's true. So join me later and let's go shopping. We'll buy your things, clothes and school supplies." I smiled at this.
It nodded and jumped up and down. He hugged us tightly and then Levi and I frowned when we saw him crying.
"What's wrong sweetie?" Levi and I asked together.
"Why are you crying?" I asked and wiped the tears from her beautiful face.
It smiled. "I-I don't know Mommy, Daddy... I don't know p-but it's like, n-just now I've been g-happy like this, p-it's like the old a-I wasn't happy, I don't know, I can't explain. "
I frowned but hugged Caleigh, my daughter...
"Shh, whatever it is, it's all in the past. Focus on your future sweetie, Daddy and your sister Cathy and I are here, we will always be with you, and we will always love you." I smiled and kissed his forehead. He hugged me back and cried.
Oh my sweet Caleigh. Mom and Dad will always be with you. Even if I'm not your real son, I don't care. I'm your son. And I won't let others hurt you.
It hurts just by seeing you and Cathy cry, so Dad and I will protect you, the both of you. No parent wants to protect their child, if at all. They are not worthy of the title of a parent. They should be called monsters.
