Chapter 5: The First Night

Lily and Alex's wedding was lively but private. Since this was Alex's second wedding, it wasn't as lively as his wedding with Sasa. Their wedding was only attended by close relatives and a few important people. Lily was grateful for that. 

“Congratulations Selena. We are now officially in-laws,” Ester said, shamelessly approaching Mrs. Selena.

The old woman smiled slightly, knowing that the only reason why Ester was willing to make her daughter her second wife was because of Selena's wealth.

“Is part of the farm enough for you to live on?” asked Selena matter-of-factly. The old woman knew what Esther really meant.

“Ah... it's very sufficient. We really appreciate it. I even feel like I have endless treasures,” Ester said with a faint smile.

“But pity my daughter. She even had to give up her dreams of a festive wedding,” continued Ester looking at her husband, asking for support so that her acting would go smoothly.

Selena squinted, knowing full well that Ester would ask for something in return.

“You're right dear. Lily once said she wanted a very big wedding. But unfortunately we can't grant that,” Lily's father said shamelessly.

Selena just shook her head softly, “It's a pity that Lily was raised by a wealth-crazy family.” Selena murmured softly.

“No problem. I'll replace that with some of the land I own. If necessary, I'll give my farm to Lily,” Selena replied quickly. Hearing this, Esther and her husband immediately smiled happily. They imagined that they would soon become one of the richest people in their town.

“We did it!” said Lily's father happily, which Selena could clearly hear. But the woman chose to remain silent, and walked away, leaving Ester and her husband still elated.

“Congratulations Lily, you're finally officially married. I hope you give us offspring soon,” said Selena as she approached Lily and took her hand. 

Lily was silent, her eyes were blank, she had never wanted a wedding like this. 

“Lily?” called Selena once again. The old woman clearly saw the sadness in the girl's eyes. But she closed her eyes. Because she had paid a high price to propose to Lily.

“Yes. I'll do what you want,” Lily replied in a resigned voice. The old woman then smiled with satisfaction.

“Poor Alex. His life is no more like mine, he was forced to have a child that his first wife was unable to give him.” Lily shook her head softly, she managed to live in a family arranged by an old woman who was none other than Mrs. Selena.

The wedding party was held until nightfall. Even Lily had shown off a very expensive wedding dress several times. But it was not what she wanted. 

Her body felt weak, since this morning her stomach had not been filled with food at all. Even her wealth-crazed parents had forgotten about their daughter's health. From a distance, Lily looked at her parents who were laughing contentedly with the people around.

“How can you have fun on top of my misery,” Lily muttered softly while clenching her fists.

The girl's gaze swept across the room. She couldn't find Sasa, Alex's first wife.

“Is that woman up to something? I hope she succeeds with her plan,” Lily said, praying for Sasa to cancel Lily's wedding soon.

“It doesn't seem possible. Because now I'm officially the second wife,” Lily muttered softly. Alex who was next to her heard that.

The man named Alex had been silent all along. From his first meeting with Lily, he didn't say much.

Lily had thought about that, why Ales had been silent all this time.

“I'm sure Alex is depressed about this marriage. Of course, he is still in love with his first wife, but this is all because his mother asked Alex to have a child soon,” Lily's mind glanced briefly at Alex who seemed to have a lot of problems.

Lily was silent. She was reluctant to say hello or ask questions. Alex seemed to be the same way, sometimes he looked at Lily with a sharp and disgusted look. The girl didn't care, the more Alex hated her, the more chances she had to escape the family.

“I don't care about them anymore. It's fine if they live in poverty. It's better that way,” Lily muttered looking at her parents.

The quiet time had come, the wedding party was over. Lily walked into her bridal suite.

“This is too much,” said Lily seeing how big and grand her bridal suite was. There were many luxurious items and a collection of very rare paintings.

“Is this really my destiny?” asked Lily staring at her surroundings. She wasn't even enjoying the luxury.

“God. Please let me go. I'm not ready for all the luxury and pain that comes with it. I'm just a weak girl,” Lily whispered in a sad voice. The girl was trembling, this was her first night with Alex and she was officially his second wife.

Shortly after saying that, Alex came and went straight into their bridal suite.

“Let's do it quickly,” Alex said without looking at the terrified Lily. It was their first conversation.

“What if I don't want to?” asked Lily cautiously, not daring to look at Alex. The man was very scary.

“You have to be willing. This is for the sake of our common duty,” Alex said raising his voice slightly.

Lily remained silent. She was right in assuming that Alex had been forced to marry and produce offspring.

Alex inched closer to Lily, but the girl immediately took a few steps away.

“Come on, you can't make me lose my temper. That innocent look of yours is just like any other woman who wants this body of mine,” Alex said arrogantly. He assumed that Lily was attracted to Alex's athletic body.

Lily lost her temper, she was already angry and a second later had slapped Alex's handsome face.

“Plak”

“I hope you can keep your word! Me marrying you doesn't mean I want to make love to you! I don't want to have sex with you!” shouted Lily in front of Alex's face. I don't know where Lily got the courage to slap a Billionaire.

Alex smiled slightly, both offended and surprised by Lily's behavior.

“You!” Alex suddenly grabbed Lily's hair and held her waist tightly. Lily felt a lot of pain.

“Let go!” said Lily in a low voice. Now her body felt crushed in Alex's arms.

“I won't. I will teach this little mouth to speak politely,” said Alex starting to kiss Lily ferociously.

“No! Let go of me!” Lily tried to break free. She struggled with all her might, but her strength was no match for Alex's. 

With one hand, Alex managed to lock Lily's body under her. With a cruel gaze, Alex looked at Lily's adorable breasts.

“You want to feel that hell don't you? Let's do it now,” Alex said with a sly smile on her lips. Lily could only cry, she was about to lose her virginity.
