Chapter 6: Failure to Make Love

Lily held her breath, Alex's whisper in her ear sent chills down her spine.

Alex's big hands began to move around Lily's small body. The girl closed her eyes. She did not enjoy the touch.

“Damn it, this is the end of my life story,” Lily muttered out loud. Hoping Alex would hear her and stop the activity.

“What? Did you say something?” asked Alex grinning wickedly.

“Don't expect you to get away from me! It's all you and your parents' fault!” whispered Alex right in Lily's ear. The girl just smiled sadly. How could Alex consider this her fault. It was clear that this was all the plan of Lily's parents who deliberately sold the brand's daughter.

“You should have refused. Don't you want to betray your first wife?” Lily averted her eyes. Either Alex was angry or not because the girl had just said something rude.

“It's not that easy,” Alex replied kissing Lily angrily.

“I think you're just like my parents. Crazy treasure!” said Lily clearly. She deliberately ignited Alex's emotions so that he wouldn't want to continue making love to Lily.

“Damn girl! How dare you say that!” scolded Alex who had raised his right hand, ready to slap Lily's face. The girl resigned herself, she closed her eyes. But a noise was suddenly heard.

“Alex!” A man suddenly walked into Lily's bridal chamber. The girl was at a disadvantage. Luckily her clothes still covered her small body perfectly.

Alex was surprised, he immediately got out of bed. Part of the shirt he was wearing was already wrinkled.

“Sasa. That woman is unconscious in the bathroom!” said the man who had just barged in. The man didn't even look at Lily.

“What? How come? What did Sasa do?” asked Alex frantically. The man quickly left their bridal suite and hurriedly saw how Sasa, his first wife, was doing.

“I don't know if this is a good or bad sign. At least I'm still a complete virgin,” murmured Lily breathing a sigh of relief. She could finally smile freely, as if a miracle had come from the sky. Lilu and Alex failed to make love, which made Lily very happy, and she smiled endlessly.

Mrs. Selena hears the news that Sasa, her first daughter-in-law, is unconscious in the bathroom. The old woman's expression of displeasure was clear.

“That woman just wants to ruin your first night,” scoffed Mrs. Selena with an angry face.

The old woman knew Sasa's true intentions, which were not willing for Alex to remarry another girl and have children soon. Sasa, on the other hand, was considered a barren woman who had failed to provide offspring for Mrs. Selena.

“Alex,” Sasa murmured softly. Her face was pale, her voice even hoarse and full of despair.

Alex bit his lip, he couldn't bear to see Sasa's condition as if she was dying.

“How did you faint in the bathroom?” asked Alex, gently grasping Sasa's hand. The woman then cried violently, she was unable to say anything. The image of Alex making love to Lily made Sasa's head hurt even more.

“Really, I'm not willing to let you have sex with that girl,” Sasa said softly, referring to Lily.

“But,” Alex's words were cut short when Sasa immediately looked away.

“I know what answer you're giving.” Sasa averted her eyes. She looked hatefully at her mother-in-law who had the heart to tell Alex to remarry.

“Remember our agreement, Alex. You won't be an heir if you don't manage to have children,” Mrs. Selena said in a wise tone, before leaving Sasa and Alex.

The man clenched his fists, so far his life had been easily controlled by an old woman named Mrs. Selena.

“Be patient Sasa. This is just a contract marriage, after we get Lily's child. I promise I'll find a way to get rid of that girl, and we'll live happily after I officially become the sole heir to my mother's fortune,” Alex said pleadingly to Sasa. She shook her head slowly.

“But what if you fall in love with Lily instead?” Sasa asked hoarsely. She was in great pain because she had been betrayed so blatantly.

“There's no way I could love that girl. She's a child-producing machine, nothing more. My family paid for her dearly.” Alex once again persuaded Sasa to stay by his side.

“Don't give up. Didn't you say this is living with me forever?” This time Alex looked at Sasa expectantly. He had no other choice but to follow what Mrs. Selena said, even if it meant hurting Sasa, his first wife.

“I hope you'll be sincere and think this through,” Alex said, standing up and walking away from Sasa's room. After Alex's departure, the woman burst into tears. She looked like a stressed out woman. The man next to her tried to calm Sasa down.

“Be patient, Sasa. Maybe this is for the best. After all, you only share Alex's body but not his heart. Your husband will still love you,” the man said, trying to calm Sasa's mind. To keep her from fainting again at the bitter reality.

Elsewhere, Lily looked out at the raindrops from inside her and Alex's bridal suite. The girl stared intently at the drops of rain that fell on the ground. That night, she had made it through the first night without being touched by Alex. Lily actually hoped that Alex would never touch her.

“God, don't let that greedy man touch my innocent body,” murmured Lily hoping and hoping. She felt so scared all the time, anytime Alex could attack and rape her.

“I'm not ready to lose my virginity,” Lily said softly. She really hoped to give her virginity to the right man.

But as fate would have it, it wasn't long before a man's loud voice called Lily's name and entered without permission.

“Lily!” called Alex in a loud voice. The lines on his face were hard and angry. His breathing was ragged, like he wanted to kill someone.

The girl was terrified, her body trembling. She staggered backwards away from Alex. Hoping that the man in front of her could not catch Lily's small body.

But Lily was just a weak young girl. In an instant, her body was already in Alex's arms.

“Please think carefully, you have betrayed your wife,” Lily said trying to break away.

“Don't say that! Let's do it quickly, I just need to have a child from you soon!” Alex replied grabbing Lily's hair roughly.

Instantly the girl cried out in pain, her head throbbing with pain. Her vision was blurry, she was about to pass out.

“Remember this well, you are just a child-producing machine. Nothing more than that after which you will be discarded like trash!” Alex said clearly in front of Lily's face. Making the girl's heart ache even more. She closed her eyes, hoping that someone would come to save her from this excruciating agony.
