Chapter Three

Nina's POV

As I slowly wake from the darkness that was enveloping me I hear the sound of beeping coming from nearby and I can also tell I am laying on a bed. I open my eyes and close them right away as they are assaulted by extremely bright lights in the room making me groan as someone was coming into the room.

"I thought I heard something" the person in the room says

I groan out again at the bright lights that I can see through my closed eye lids. As I keep trying to open my eyes against the bright ass fucking lights I groan out even more. The person that came in was suddenly at the side of the bed that I am currently laying on and I know this because I can hear their breathing right beside me. I decide to try and talk with a dry ass mouth and throat but I am eventually able to croak out some words.

"Lights......off.......please" I croak out making the person beside me chuckle and turn off the lights for me so I can open my eyes and get a look at my surroundings. Once I am finally able to open my eyes all the way it takes them a few moments to fully focus but eventually I am able to see the room I am in clearly. Needing some water to soothe the sandpaper feeling I have in my throat I look around for something to drink but I can't find anything nearby.

"Water......please" I groan out looking at the very handsome man that was standing beside me staring down at me with wonder.

"Yes I will get you some water as I let the doctor know that you are finally awake." The mystery man says before he leaves the room. After a little bit the man walks back in with a bottle of water that he opens and helps me drink from it helping to soothe my dry throat and mouth. Once I had drank my fill the mystery man set the bottle down on a table near my bed just as another person walked in to the room who I assumed was the doctor.

"Why hello there I see you are finally awake" the doctor says to me.

"Hello who are you? Where am I? How long have I been in here?" I ask the doctor

"I'm so sorry where are my manners, I am Doctor Ramirez. You are in our pack hospital and you have been out for about a week." Doctor Ramirez tells me

"Who's pack territory am I on?" I asked frightened hoping I wasn't on the pack territory that was home to the most cruel and ruthless Alpha.

The mystery man looks at me sheepishly as he rubs the back of his neck like he knows what I was thinking. He finally looks from his feet to me and says "You're on Alpha Dark's territory"

"Wait Alpha Dark as in Alpha Gray Dark, the most feared, ruthless, and cruel Alpha of the Dark Moon Pack" I say my voice cracking as I start to shake in absolute fear.

"That's right" the man said like it was nothing

"When can she be discharged? Alpha Gray wants to see her" the man asks the doctor

"She can leave now since she has fully healed and there are no other serious injuries left, I will go and get her discharge papers for you to fill out" Doctor Ramirez says to the guy as he takes the IV out of my arm before he leaves us alone.

"Ummm I have 2 questions for you" I say shyly

"Yeah fine what are they?" the man says annoyed

"One-What's your name? Two-Where is my bag so i can shower and change my clothes" I ask in a small scared voice

"Oh ummm my name is Ryan Rivers, I'm the Beta of the pack. I'm the one who brought you in after you were attacked by that rogue. I also brought you bag in with you and it's right over here." Ryan says as he grabs my bag and puts it into the bathroom for me. I try to get up and I wobble a bit before I finally get my balance and am able to slowly walk to the bathroom. Once I get into the bathroom I shut and lock the door before I turn on the water and strip out of the horrible hospital gown before taking a very nice relaxing shower. I get out and dry off as fast as I can before getting dressed in a pair of black leggings, a cold shoulder drawstring hem two piece t-shirt set that was a greyish black and blue, along with my black lace up boots.

I run my brush through my hair and leave it down in it's natural waves as I look at myself in the mirror I decide to leave my hair and eye colour their natural colours which is white and metallic blue just like my wolfs instead of trying to hide it anymore but I decide to make sure that my mark is hidden before I exit the bathroom with my things. I see that the doctor was back in the room as Ryan was signing my discharge papers and once that was done I was leaf out of the pack hospital and towards goddess knows where. It took us about 45 minutes to get to what I assumed was the pack house on foot seeing as I couldn't walk as fast as I could before I was knocked out since I had just woken up after being asleep for about a week.

While we were walking I could see a big 3 story mansion coming into view and a smaller 2 story house in distance just behind where the 3 story building was. Both houses were gorgeous but I couldn't help but think what was going to happen to me.

As we came closer to bigger building I was prepared to go inside of it but we just kept walking past it.

"Aren't we going in this building it's the pack house is it not?" I asked Ryan as we continued walking towards the other building.

"Yes this is the pack house but no we aren't going there seeing as the Alpha isn't there. We are going to the building over there which is Alpha's house and where he does most of his pack work where no one but me is allowed to go." He tells me

I gulp in astonishment and in fear but as we got closer to the Alpha's house I could smell this most intoxicating scent that was drawing me in and begged me to follow it. It smelled very masculine like sandalwood, clove, honey, with hints of vanilla and it was doing things to me that I didn't understand. My mouth was watering and I had to keep swallowing so I wouldn't drool, my heartbeat was getting faster and I was panting like I had just run 20 miles.

As we walked closer to the mansion the smell was growing stronger making me relax slightly as we got closer to the house.

"Ryan can you smell that?" I ask him

"Smell what?" He said looking at me with a confused and curious glare

"Oh nothing never mind" I said in a low voice as embarrassment engulfed me

I followed Ryan into the house and down a hallway to the left of the front door. We followed the door all the way to the end where a pair of double doors appeared. As we stood there Ryan knocked on the door waiting for the Alpha to call us in. As we were waiting I noticed that the smell I was following was coming from behind the doors. It was so strong now making my wolf Brea howl and jump around in the back of my mind as she was saying something too low for me to make out. I ignored her and tried to calm the thumping of my heart from the fear I was feeling about meeting Alpha Dark and the fact that I had no clue what he was going to do to me. I was suddenly brought out of my thoughts when I heard his voice boom from the other side of the door telling us to enter what I presume to be his office.
