Chapter 13 Flora Was Angry

Shawn was regretful. He called Ivan last night and taunted him. However, Shawn didn't win anything. He felt terrible about turning to Ivan for help today.

At this time, Shawn's phone rang.

"Where are you, Shawn? Clara is waiting in the conference room now. Where is Mr. Black? Has he arrived?" Alan asked anxiously on the phone.

Alan was proud of Shawn. Shawn took over Ivan's project with The Renaissance. If Shawn did a good job, he and Alan would be more valued in The Whites family.

"I know. I'm coming." Shawn answered Alan quickly.

The cooperation with The Renaissance was of great importance to The Whites Group. Flora said especially in advance that every White was supposed to be present and nobody was allowed to be absent.

Flora was sitting at one side of the table in the conference room and looking at the door quietly.

Seeing that Shawn came in alone, Flora asked in confusion, "Where is Mr. Black? Is there anything wrong? Have you made a phone call to him?"

"Grandma..." Shawn stammered and fell silent.

Seeing this, Flora frowned. She had a bad feeling.

"What's wrong? Did you do anything and irritate Mr. Black? Did he go away?"

"Alan and Shawn! I say it here! If The Renaissance gives up and decides not to cooperate with us at last, you will be driven out of The Whites Group! Just get away from us!" Flora scolded them angrily.

Hearing this, Shawn and Alan became pale. They were panicking.

They didn't expect things to be like this.

Flora had been in the trade for many years, and she was good at her words. She would absolutely do what she said or promised.

"Don't worry, Grandma. The Renaissance signed the contract with us yesterday. They can't cancel the cooperation causally. We can cooperate with them!" Shawn said quickly.

But Flora answered Shawn with sarcasm, "Why are you so stupid? Don't you know the backer of The Renaissance? The Whites Group was nothing compared to them. Even if The Renaissance pays us compensation, do you dare receive the money?"
