Chapter 14 It’s Not Convenient Now

They left the conference room one after another, trying to stop their relationship with Alan and Shawn.

Soon, only Alan and Shawn were in the conference room.

Alan's face became red because of anger. He gritted his teeth and said with hatred, "Did Ivan drug Samuel secretly? To The Whites Group, you and Ivan are almost the same. But why does he favor Ivan so much and look down upon you?"

Shawn was also angry. Hearing Alan's word, he smiled faintly with sarcasm. He said, "Why? The private detective has told us already. Alice went to the negotiation with Ivan. Maybe Ivan played a trick and asked Alice to seduce Samuel. It surprised me that Ivan could successfully sign the contract with The Renaissance. He is just a useless bastard!"

"Don't think about the tricks he played. We need to focus on the difficulty before us. As it stands, only Ivan can save the situation. Flora means what she says. She always keeps her word." Alan let out a long sigh.

Hearing this, Shawn was also annoyed. If he had known that Samuel would react like this, he would never call Ivan and laughed at Ivan last night. It was less than a day, and Shawn had to turn to Ivan and ask for his help. How quickly the retribution came!

But Shawn had no other choices. He could only try to call Ivan again.

Shawn was stunned for a while before he took out his phone.

He didn't dare bet that The Renaissance would still cooperate with them. If Samuel were angry and looked for cooperation with another company, The Whites Group would be destined to lose a good chance.

Ivan was having a rest at home, as Flora told him.Ivan was angry too. He was reading a book to kill time and put his phone on the table. Suddenly, his phone rang.

Before he could touch the phone, Alice took the phone first.

"It's Shawn. Let me answer it." Alice said to Ivan in a low voice, with the phone in her hand.

Ivan was confused about Alice's reaction. But he didn't refuse her and agreed.

"Come to the company now, Ivan!" Alice turned on the speaker the minute she answered the phone, and Shawn's voice came.

Knowing that it was Shawn, Ivan was annoyed. He thought to himself, "Why did he call me again? Did he want to show off again? He even asks me to go to the company to get insulted this time!"

Before Ivan could say anything, Alice said first, "Ivan is in the middle of something. It's not convenient for him to go to the company now." Alice said indifferently.

Hearing Alice's voice, Shawn became furious. He said, "Does it have anything to do with you? Hand the phone to Ivan. You are not allowed to interfere in the business of The Whites ."

"OK." Hearing Shawn's words, Alice just hung up the phone. She turned off the phone before Shawn could call again.

"What are you doing?" Seeing this, Ivan asked in confusion.

"Don't worry. Shawn called to ask for your help. I guess Samuel refused and didn't talk with him at all. He has no other way and can only ask you for help. Only you can save the situation now." Alice explained calmly.

Ivan was stunned to hear this. He asked, "Are you sure?"

"This is the only possibility."

Then, Ivan became anxious and stood up from the sofa immediately. He asked, "Why do you hang up the phone? Let's get prepared. We are going to the company now."

"Wait! You are not the one who is supposed to be worried. I know Flora, and I guess that she must be terribly angry with Shawn and Alan now. Shawn turns to you and asks you to help him save the situation. Shawn wants to be the heir of The Whites Group and made strenuous efforts to take your place. We can't let him go so easily. It's time to fight back." Alice said calmly.

But Ivan was still confused. The cooperation with The Renaissance was of great importance to The Whites Group.

If he could cooperate with The Renaissance on the project, he would be of more importance to The Whites Group. If something went wrong, it was Shawn to blame. But Ivan wouldn't benefit, either.

"What should we do now?" Ivan looked at Alice and asked sincerely.

"What you only have to do now is to wait. How many times have you been screwed? It's time to take revenge." Alice said with a smile.

"Don't worry about the cooperation with The Renaissance. I have a good relationship with Samuel. It doesn't matter if the negotiation is several days later." Alice knew what Ivan was worried about. She just told Ivan the truth and comforted him.

Hearing Alice's guarantee, Ivan suddenly understood everything. He looked at Alice, who was sitting on the other side of the sofa, and said, "It surprises me a lot that you are shrewd too."

In the conference room, Shawn was angry because Alice had hung up the phone.

"What the hell you are! How arrogant you are, and you even dared hang up the phone! Who you are! How bold you are!"

Shawn smashed his phone on the ground while scolding Alice.

Seeing Shawn's reaction, Alan became worried again.

If Ivan wasn't willing to come out and help Shawn, Shawn and he would absolutely take the consequences and be kicked out by Flora.

"What's wrong, Shawn? Does Ivan agree to go to Mr. Black and talk?" Alan asked anxiously.

Shawn said with hatred, "It wasn't Ivan. It was Alice. She said that Ivan was in the middle of something, and it wasn't convenient for him to answer the phone."
