Chapter 12 We’ll Reconsider The Cooperation

Ivan went to the negotiation with The Renaissance himself. He was supposed to take charge of the following procedures. Why did Flora ask Shawn to take over suddenly?

Hearings the conversation between Ivan and John, Clara flew into a rage. She asked, "Shawn? Does he play a trick?"

"He and Alan must have begged Flora and used pity to ask her to change the person in charge. How shameless they are! I'll go and argue with them!"

Clara went out angrily, and John stopped her and said, "Calm down! Flora called Ivan herself. It is no use going to Shawn and arguing with them. Nothing will change."

"What shall we do, then?"

"Just let Shawn take over the project and do nothing? The project belongs to Ivan! What a father you are! How can you help Ivan!" Clara shouted furiously.

Being scolded fiercely by Clara, John didn't dare utter a word. He kept silent.

Seeing this, Ivan said in a hurry, "Dad is right, Mom. Nothing will change even if you go and destroy Shaw's house now."

"Shall we just let him take it over? It takes you a lot to sign the contract with The Renaissance, and Shaw just takes credit for it. I can't just let this happen!" Clara said worriedly.

Ivan wasn't happy either. But he had no other choice. It wasn't easy to change Flora's mind. No matter how dissatisfied and angry Ivan was; he could only accept the fact.

At this time, Alice appeared at the study door in pajamas and said calmly, "Don't worry about the cooperation. Only you can take charge of it. Nobody can take your place."

Clara was still angry. When she heard Alice's words, she became even angrier. Clara scolded Alice severely, "Does it have anything to do with you? You don't belong to The Whites. It's none of your business and just go away. Don't let me see you!"

Seeing this, Ivan frowned deeper. He couldn't sign the contract successfully if it were not for Alice.But Clara didn't know how important Alice was, and she even criticized Alice. She couldn't do that.

"Stop, Mom. Don't shout anymore. It's late now. It's time to go back and have a good rest." Ivan said with a frown. He wanted Clara to go away now.

But Clara was still angry, and it was difficult for her to calm down quickly and have a rest. John noticed that the atmosphere in the study was weird and took Clara back to their bedroom.

Ivan saw John and Clara go back. Then, he turned around and apologized to Alice, "I'm sorry. I apologize to you. My Mom didn't mean it. She has a sharp tongue, but she is good. Her bark is worse than her bite. She doesn't know what happened. She ..."

" Never mind. Don't worry. You will be the only one who can be in charge of the cooperation. Nothing can change that!" Alice said calmly.

Then, she walked out of the study and back to her room.

Shawn got up early the following day and started to dress.

After brushing his teeth and washing his face, Shawn especially took his best suit out, which was also the most expensive one. He wanted to show his sincerity to The Renaissance.

Although The Whites Group and The Renaissance had a contract and would sure cooperate, today was also important. The persons in charge of both companies were supposed to meet each other officially today.

Shawn had to explain why the person in charge of The Whites Family changed. It was no small case. He had to be careful.

Shawn was confident in himself. After all, his ability was there to be seen, and he was no worse than Ivan.

When Samuel arrived in his car, Shawn went to welcome him in time.

"Good morning, Mr. Black. I'm Shawn White from The White Group. In the future, I will be in charge of the following procedures regarding the cooperation with The Renaissance."

Shawn went to Samuel. He introduced himself and reached out his hand, trying to shake hands with Samuel.

Hearing this, Samuel reached out his hand and shook hands with Shawn. They greeted each other.

Seeing Samuel's reaction, Shawn was excited. It surprised him that Samuel accepted the change of person in changed so quickly.

It seemed that Ivan was not so important in the project. It made no difference.

Seeing Samuel's reaction, Shawn was stunned.When he realized that something had gone wrong, Samuel was leaving.

Shawn said, "Don't worry, Mr. Black.The change of the person in charge won't influence our cooperation. Everyone knows how capable I am. I will not screw up...."

Samuel walked to his car. He interrupted Shawn and said, "Many companies in Kent City want to cooperate with The Renaissance. Since The Whites Group lays little importance on our cooperation, I think we'd better give up. We will reconsider this cooperation."

Then, Samuel took his time and got into the car. He asked the driver to leave quickly.

Hearing his word, Shawn just froze where he was. He was shocked and was at a loss.At first, he thought that Samuel would pay no attention to such a trivial. But it surprised him that Samuel refused him so resolvedly. There was little room for maneuver.

Reconsider this cooperation?

Shawn trembled when he thought about the word Samuel said.

Many companies in Kent City wanted to cooperate with The Renaissance, and The Whites Group wasn't among the best.It took Ivan a lot to get the chance to collaborate with The Renaissance. If the cooperation failed because of Shawn at last, Flora would absolutely be terribly angry with him.

What should Shawn do?

Why must it be Ivan? Why couldn't anyone else be the person in charge?

Thinking of this, Shawn was also angry.
