Chapter 3

Iris's p.o.v.

I open my eyes groaning at the loud sound of my morning alarm. I sit up and sigh another school day.

I walk out of my closet satisfied with my look (pic on the top) and for my face I do not wear much makeup due to skin allergies and my brothers would probably throw all my makeup and what not.

After making my hair I go downstairs and walk in the dining area and take my usual chair our dining area and kitchen are joined so its an open kitchen which opens into our dining area "Morning sis" Blake says while Lou kisses my cheek in acknowledgement I smile at him and wish Blake back.

"Hey Dan" I say as Dan places my plate in front of me "Hi" He says before going back into the kitchen. "IRIS" Elijah yells as he comes in and hugs me placing a kiss on my forehead "Hey Eli" I smile at him he smiles back and sits next to me.

"Blake when is Cole coming back" Dylan asks all of my brothers had finally situated down and were having their meals "Not sure maybe in a day or two why ?" Blake asks Dylan "nothing" he looks at me and shakes his head Elijah nudges me asking me what happened I shrug not knowing why he gave me a look.

"I'M COMING WAIT" I yell from my room increasing my speed and running out of my room inspecting the room for the last time while turning the light off to be sure that I didn't leave anything behind.

"ARE YOU EVEN COMING IRIS ?" Dylan yells "yes" I say as I descend from the stairs looking at Dylan who was standing at the bottom with an apologetic look.

We bid the rest a bye and we leave with my bag on Dylan's shoulder because he wont let me carry it myself. I'm only carrying my books which I had to forcefully take back from him when he took them to carry them himself as he was already carrying his bag and stuff I couldn't put for load on him and the fact that I can carry my own stuff.

"Hey Dylan can Iris ride with me today ?" Damian asks "Nope" Dylan answer "Well than Iris do you want to ride with me ?" Damian asks me "I mean sure.." I say looking at Dylan who had been eyeing me as soon as Damian asked the question.

"Great !!" Damian says as he unlocks his car motioning me to come with him "Iris get in the car" Dylan says sternly I move closer to Damian "Damian if he gets mad its your fault" I whisper in Damian's ear "Don't worry I will handle it just get in the car" He whispers back I nod my head and quickly slip into the passenger seat as both of older brothers are in an intense staring contest with each other.

As soon as Damian sees that I have gotten into the car he breaks the the eye contact with Dylan and follows suit driving away with immense speed "Okay Damian were out of our driveway slow down" I tell him "kk" he reply's and slows down.

"Shit !" I exclaim "what happened ? Are you hurt ?" He asks me "my bag's with Dylan ?" I tell him sighing "don't worry we can get it when we reach school" He says I nod.

"Dylan can you stop doing that!!" I yell to Dylan from my rolled down car window "God Iris close your window its windy" Damian says "But.." I try to say but get cut off by Damian telling me to ignore Dylan who kept honking at us because apparently we were speeding above the speed limit which I'm sure that we weren't taking the fact that Dylan is driving his car faster than us.

"Iris and Damian" we hear Dylan's firm voice as he gets out of his car. We had reached before them and were leaning against Damian's car waiting for our damned faith.

Me and Damian look at each other and than turn to face Dylan with a smile on our faces "Hey Dylan" I say "Don't you hey me" Dylan states "Than what is she supposed to say ?" Damian says placing his arm around my shoulder.

I nudge my elbow in Damian's side "What are you doing ? Don't fuel the the already blazing fire" I tell him slowly "Damian I might not mind Iris riding with you but you were driving insanely fast" Elijah says coming to Dylan's side "I was not even driving above 70 and for the record you were going faster than I was anyways" Damian replies "I don't think its such a big deal that we have to do this in the parking lot if its that serious take it home" Isaac says calmly "your okay with this Isaac !" Dylan exclaims.

"Damian is also her brother like me and you. If you are getting mad at him for taking her with him than you shouldn't because as I mentioned before he is also her brother  and like us he is also capable of keeping her safe like us" Isaac tells Dylan.

"Thank you Isaac" Damian thanks Isaac and I nod my head in agreement and thankfulness.

"Were still discussing this later" Dylan says we both nod "and Blake will be hearing about this" Dylan says me and Elijah look at each other and smile "What are you guys smiling at ?" Sebastian asks us as he notices our looks.

"Iris. your bag" Dylan hands me my bag I thank him "nothing Dylan's words reminded me of Draco's words" I tell him Sebastian "you know the 'My father will hear about this!' dialogue" I tell him Elijah sighing at Sebastian's lack of knowledge.

"Let's go to our classes before its late and people are staring" Isaac tells us and indeed people are staring we all agree "tell me you didn't feel proud after opposing Dylan" Sebastian asks me I only smile at him in response.

"who has what ?" Dylan asks all of us when we reach inside "I have calculus " I say "same" Sebastian says I groan and turn to look at him smirking at me "Sebastian take care of her" Dylan tells him " Don't worry I will" He says I sigh and after talking for a couple more minutes we leave for respective classes.

"Don't" I tell him when he tries to say something "okay" Sebastian raises his hands in surrender we reach our class and take the back seat.

"You know its not that hard as you make it seem" Sebastian tells me " Shut up" I say annoyingly "Fine but I won't be helping when you come running to me for help" He says "don't worry I won't Dan told me that if I ever needed help in studying he would help me as much as he could and luckily he is good at calculus so your in luck you won't have to deal with me" I say.

"Whatever you say little girl" He rolls his eyes "Little I'm only a couple months younger than you" I say defensively "As you say little girl" He says putting an emphasis on 'little girl' I groan at this Sebastian opens his mouth to say something probably to give me a pesky remark but the classroom door opens and our professor steps in silencing the whole room.

"Hello students, I'm Mr.Smith and I will be teaching you calculus this year" Mr.Smith says as he places hi stuff on the desk and starts the class. As it is the first class we don't really start the syllabus its like an introductory session.

"I'm Sebastian Grey and I am 17" Sebastian introduces himself when its his turn "Hi I'm Iris Grey and I'm 16" I say as its my turn after Sebastian considering I am sitting right next to him.

"I think it is safe to assume that you guys are siblings" Mr.Smith says referring to me and Sebastian "We are" Sebastian says I nod "great" Mr.Smith says and continues the class.

"It wasn't even that bad" Sebastian as we leave the classroom "I never said it was" I reply "it does seem like that anyways what do you have next ?" He asks me "P.E" I reply he nods and we reach the rest "Hey guys" Isaac greets us when they acknowledge our presence "HI" we both say "How was class Iris ?" Dylan asks me "It was fine" I reply "Good if a certain someone makes it hard for you than tell me" he says eyeing Sebastian "I would love to" I say smirking at Sebastian who in return gave me a sting eye.

"Who has P.E now ?" I ask "I have" Elijah says "really!! same" I state happily "yuh" He says smiling at my excitement "Well what are we waiting for lets go" I say as I quickly place my books in the locker Elijah takes my hand and start taking me somewhere "Hold up do you even know where the gym even is ?" I ask him he shakes his head "than were you expecting to just magically reach the gym" I say "I can you guys there" Damian says "thank you" I say Damian grabs my other and guides us to the gym.

Seriously what is up with my brothers grabbing my hand.

Damian drops us off in front of the gym and leaves for his class. we go inside the gym and notice the rest of the students had already changed in their gym clothes which included shorts and a shirt for both girls and boys.

"Aren't the shorts too short ?" I ask Elijah when I notice that most of the girls had extremely short shorts on like imagine if someone had put a bit more length to an underwear.

"You can wear whatever you want underneath the shirt it won't matter but the shirt is a necessity" Elijah explains "oh okay" I say with relief no way in hell was I gonna wear that short shorts Dylan would have chopped my head off and I would have felt uncomfortable.

We separate and go to the changing rooms to change I decide to just change my shirt and stay in my pants.

"You know the Grey brothers well they have a sister and she just like joined and Tyler was telling me that the football team likes her. Like WTF I have been trying to get their attention since last year and expect Tyler no one has given me even a second glance" I hear a girl say as I am about to leave the changing.

"Hi ladies" I say as I join in the group "who are you ?" The girl who was talking earlier says "oh I'm Iris" I reply "oh okay I'm Trisha the head of cheerleading group" she says "nice I'm Dylan"s sister" I say politely "Dylan ?" She says confusedly "Dylan Grey" I tell her with a smile.

Upon hearing this her face forms into the one of shock "well I'm gonna go now" I say with a wave of hand and I walk out.

I find Elijah and stand next to him "umm Iris your pants don't go with the shirt" Elijah says "don't you think I know" I say "I mean the pants are cute but..." he tells me "I didn't have an option okay I will bring something next time" I say "okay" He reply's.

"Hello young athletes I'm your P.E coach Mr.Jones and today we will play Dodgeball" our coach says and we start to team up.

We end up making two teams me and Elijah being in the same one. We take our positions amd wait for the whistle. As soon as we hear it we start the game, And by the start of the fifth minute only two people are standing from the opposite team and four from our team including me and Elijah.

"Iris that one" Elijah says and I throw the ball towards the boy he was talking about hitting him square in the face and within the next few seconds we have won.

"Yay" everyone shouted that were in our team and came to hug us. "Ok yeah that's enough" I said to Elijah who was still on me. "Ok" he says ha she gets of me "thank god I thought I would die because I couldn't breathe" I say to him  "gees Iris I am not that heavy" Elijah said defensively "yeah whatever lets you sleep at night" I tell him he eyes me for a bit but does not say anything.

Ring ring ring.

We hear the bell ring indicating that the class is over so we head to the changing rooms and leave the gym going to our locker "Its lunch now right ?" Elijah asks me as we close our lockers "yeah its lunch" He nods "The classes have really drained me" He says "Same" I say with a sigh.

We enter the cafeteria and get our lunch trays "Do you see them anywhere ?" Elijah asks me "Not yet" I reply, We had been trying to find the guys but we couldn't in the process we found Elise "Where are they ?" Elise says "Don't know" I reply.

"Did you try to call them ?" She asks "I did call Dylan but he didn't pick up. Wait Elijah try to call Damian if he does not pick up call Isaac I will ring Sebastian until than" I say " Okay" He says. I pull my phone out of my bag to dial Sebastian's number I feel a tap on my shoulder I turn around to see a girl "Yes" I say "Are you Dylan Grey's sister ?" The girl asks " I am why ?" I reply "Could you please come with me ?" She says "please" She says when I don't reply "Okay" I say as I look at Elijah he shrugs and we follow her as she guides us out of the cafeteria "Where is she taking us ?" Elise asks me "I don't know" I reply.

"Miss where are you taking us ?" I ask her as we walk out of the building and towards a crowd which is formed in the middle "your brothers are in a middle of a fight and well they have been for awhile and figures I thought that considering no one has been able to stop them, yet maybe you could help" She replies pushing us towards the front of the crowd "Are you kidding me ?" I mutter as I see Dylan and Damian beating the shit out of two guys while Sebastian and Isaac try to pull them back.

I hold my hands up in questioning way when Isaac and Sebastian notice me Sebastian points his finger towards his brain in swirling movement indicating that Dylan and Damian had gone crazy I sigh and walk towards them Elijah joining me while I tell to Elise to stay.

"Guys stop" I say firmly as I reach them they stop and look at me "Stop" I say again Dylan and Damian look at each other than stop completely stepping away from the two boys who were on the ground bleeding "you both why were they hitting you ?" I ask them as they stand up wiping the blood of off their faces.

" The show is over you guys can leave now" I hear Elijah say from behind me "We called you a whore" one of them says it probably triggered Dylan because he started coming towards them again but I stop him "well that if that is the case than I'm sorry but I can't help you" I say as they look at me with confusion "Iris no.." Isaac tries to say but I don't waste time in delivering them both a good punch to their faces "What the hell" The guy who had replied exclaims "learn how to respect woman" I tell them as I turn around and walk to my brothers "Why are you shocked Isaac this was bound to happen it always does" Sebastian says to Isaac who shakes his head in return.

"You guys need to keep your emotions to yourself you can't go punching anyone you like sure I was triggered but I didn't start hitting them like a maniac" Isaac says "yeah yeah next time we will keep that in mind" Damian says "So how was it ?" Damian asks me as Dylan wraps his arm around me "I mean I got blood on my hand but other than that it was fine" I reply "That is how it should be" Dylan tells me "We should go to the nurses office to get you guys checked" Isaac  states "Isaac you worry to much but we can get checked if that makes you feel better right guys" I say "yeah sure" Damian says and Dylan nods at him.

"Okay you guys go in I will go and wash my hands till than" I tell them as we reach the nurses office "okay just be back in five" Dylan says "Yeah don't worry the washrooms are near by I will back in no time" I tell him "okay" he says and they go inside "I am going with Iris" Elise says as she comes to my side "okay" Elijah says.

"When are the twins coming back" I ask Elise "By tomorrow" She reply's Stephen and James also referred as the twins are Elise's older brothers who happen to be mine and Elijah's bestfriends me, Elise, Elijah, Stephen, Amy and James are like a tight group of friends considering that we have been friends for years or even forever because we have known each other since first grade.

"It's been quite without them" I say "I do not like to admit it but I miss them" She says I laugh at this as she smiles in return "oh and what about Amy" She asks me Amy is our other friend in our group we haven't known for a very long time because she only moved here like a year and half ago but we all became close to her quite instantly "She did text like a day ago saying that she will be back soon didn't tell when exactly" I say "She always does this when she goes to visit her dad" Elise replies "I know but you do understand that she only visits her dad like once every year I mean just imagine only being able to be with your dad for only a month" I tell her "yeah your right it must be difficult for her" She says "very difficult for her trust me I can kind of relate" I say.

"You wash your hand I'm going to use the restroom" Elise says when we enter the restrooms "Okay" I reply as I wash my hands "Hey Ellie I'm going to wait outside okay ?" I say "yeah okay I will be out in a minute" She replies I walk outside and lean against the wall.

I decide to call Blake to let him know what happened when suddenly I feel something hit the back of my head I turn around to see the same two guys from the fight holding a rod thing with a crimson top probably from my blood.

"Seriously a rod ? You guys are so getting killed" I say as I feel dizzy When they notice my dizziness they quickly run away leaving me in my the pool of my own blood without wasting much time I take a napkin from my bag and put it on my head preventing myself from from having more blood lose and make my way to the nurses offices and somehow manage to reach it sure I had some difficulties along the way but at least I made it.

By the time I reach the nurses office my vision is spinning and I'm probably going to faint any second now because I have to force myself to keep my eyes open so I push the door open and step inside catching my brothers attention and Sebastian rushes towards me as he notices my state and because he was standing the closest to the door.

As soon as he embraces me I close my eyes knowing that he would help me.
