The next morning as early as 7 am, I had already washed the remaining clothes I had in the laundry and went into the pack to look for dirty clothes. I can't explain how I feel but I no longer felt like dying and my back wasn't bleeding. My chin had healed halfway and the black and Purple eye marks had almost disappeared.
That's the advantage of being a complete werewolf, even if you get broken into different pieces, you will surely get as good as new.
Ewwww, I smelt of raw meat, not fresh and not badly oozing. Although, I am not yet a full wolf but I know how awful I smelt. Like rain and dry buds, mixed with a faint smell of peppermint has always been what I smelt like. Poor Rain, I don't even know what I smell without injury.
It's always a fresh wound, the smell of trash as I used to clear the trash some time ago, or the smell of my own blood.
Before leaving, I made sure to put on the only hoodie I have which is actually the only good and new cloth I had ever gotten. It was given to me by a stranger when I was walking very far from this pack and neighboring packs into the woods. Then I was literally freezing to death that winter season when I was made to go alone and fetch human-made donuts for Camille.
Imagine such wickedness, somethings I get to wonder if that is the reason she is still not yet loved by the Alpha.
Back then deep inside the woods, I meet a stranger who thought that I was a lost human and had offered to take me to the police. But when I insisted that I was totally fine, The stranger said he just brought the hoodie for his girlfriend who had just broken up with him and since I needs it more than her, I should have it instead.
Sometimes when I am so broken, I pick up the hoodie and sniff it, someday I will get a mate that would be able to love me too.
I heaved a soft sigh of relief as I walked past the pack's training camp and nothing happen. Normally, I would have been called and made caricature by the pups getting training. They would make sure I am exhausted before going around the pack to get the dirty clothes from the Alpha family, beta's family, and Delta's family.
The Gramma and some of the Elder's family's laundry were taken care of by another omega and since they were not much in the pack, the rest of the Omega works in the kitchen. The ones working in the kitchen get fair treatment, well, not so good but at least they don't have to wash tons of clothes before they get breakfast once for the whole day.
With my neck low as if my head could not stay straight, I rushed to the beta's house to get their dirty cloth. The Delta's house was next and as I knew it, Axon always seats on his comfy sofa where he stares at the blank wall. He would also pretend not to see me much more acknowledging my presence as I come to get his dirty clothes.
'Maybe I was supposed to be created invisible'
Forcing myself not to roll my eyes and scoff as I walked to his room to get his dirty clothes as usual became the most difficult task to do but still, I survived. I had barely sorted them out when I felt another person's presence behind me. Since Axon's Dad had gone to the elders' meeting while his mother to the women's meeting, getting prepared for Alpha Brook's ball the only person home should Axon.
"You need to see the Alpha, Now!" Axon said.
Without replying, I made sure to gather the clothes and attempt to walk out but was blocked. My lazy brown eyes meet Axon's Hazel ones and I sighed.
"It's not like you care, Delta Axon" I muttered "Please let me do my work so I can rest on time for tonight's ball preparation"
Axon growled, his eyes changing color to black as he struggled to keep himself in charge. It's obvious his wolf is trying to surface and he is also trying to control it. His claws grew out of his fingers as he turned against his room wall and began to punch it.
Like I care!
"If there is anything going on just let me know," I said a bit scared "Even if it means my death at least I will get to rest at least?" I added unsurely.
Although I couldn't tell if it was a question or not, all I cared about is Axon furs and claws that kept appearing and disappearing.
Fine, I know I don't care before but I truly care now.
At this point, the only thing that came to my mind is to use the nearest exit which is the door beside Axon, or jump down the window straight into the pack's market square and that is not a good idea.
I had to remind myself that I don't fix back like normal werewolves.
"Go see the Alpha now, Rain, Go!".
Casually I held the clothes on my chest and twisted my lips.
"I don't usually go to gather the Alpha's clothes by this time, Axey" I whispered.
For the first time in a very long time, I am calling him by his nickname again, the name I gave to him Five years ago.
My legs became weak as I moved back on seeing Axon on the verge of a half shift.
His skin was covered in Black furs, his fingers replaced by his claws, his eyes black, and his vegetarian teeth gone. He brought out a dagger from his pocket and stabbed his left shoulder with it. The silver made a black burn on his skin, making him groan in pain before hiding it under his bed.
"I am sorry, Rain, I have to do this".
