It could be a miracle but I can't tell how I managed to run inside and bolt the door. Immediately I got my kind of safety, I took off my clothes and dashed into the darkroom. The only place I had ever felt safe and not seen by anyone.    Maybe I have a natural connection to darkness.     Although it was very dark and I couldn't see but I could still sense where everything in the room is being kept, after all, I had stayed there for four years. Damped and naked, I walked straight to my wardrobe and grab the only blanket I have. Wrapping it around my small body, I stumbled to my wooden bed to have at least a beautiful night's rest since she could not have a wonderful day.     It should be 7 pm outside, the time normal wolves celebrate for no reason while all I could have is the dark peace in my room. The only thing I kept praying for was death, at least I would have to see her parents at last.     Rolling my eyes dramatically, I recalled wishing for death some minutes ago and then praying not to die the other.     Beneath the blanket, I felt the hair at the back of my neck raise and I froze. Restlessly, I  kept on rubbing it all over my body in the blanket this can't just vanish.     "My necklace!!" I gasped.      My body shook as I wondered how it must have fallen off. Even though I don't know what it means, I can't just lose it after all these years! What if I need it now?      The only sound heard was the agonizing sound of my gnashing of teeth and harsh breath. Normally I would feel some kind of safety whenever I hide in my darkroom but this time around I felt being watched. Paranoid like something is coming to get me, something like the big bad wolf I saw outside.     'Who's there?' I whispered then sniffed. My lower lips quivered as I tried not to cry.    Panic flowed through my veins as I began to toss about, trying to calm myself to maybe fall asleep and wake up to realize everything had just been a bad dream. Just random dreams I use to have each time of the year during the rainy season, the season I feared all through her life.    'Those eyes, those red eyes'   Those growls sound like it was trying to speak directly to me, if it does, why didn't they just shift back to his human form? I could still hear it, in my ears making me crawl more into a ball and shiver. Even if I felt different some minutes ago, o knew something worst is around the corner but I can't just put my hands on it.   Hopefully, it's won't be a big bad wolf that just killed someone and might have killed me.    Quickly, I sat up. My brain working, thinking why the wolf must have just stood still like he was glued to a spot. Could it be that the moon goddess saved me from death or it might be a bad dream?    The hairs at the back of my neck raised, making me turn immediately with the nearest weapon in my small shaking hand.     "I know you are here!" I sniffed, blinking back the tears in my eyes  "Don't move an inch or I kill you!!" I have silver and you know what that can do" I added looking around the room.    Still yet no movement, not even the slightest noise but I am certain that I am not alone and that scares the heck out of me. "Please, I beg you just go away, I promise I won't tell anyone just go away, please!" I broke into tears.    Waiting for the next minute like forever, I felt more than disappointed and extremely scared when nothing happened. I was about to move towards the only source of light in the room, a window I had not opened for two years when I heard something like a growl from behind me and then flashes of light.     A piercing scream escaped my throat as I threw the weapon I was holding toward the light.    "Seriously!?" It came with a dry chuckle "Rotten banana? Is this your sliver?"     Grunting unattractively, I stopped crying and shivering to look at the intruder's face. The scowl on my face didn't disappear but I was glad that it wasn't the big black wolf.    "Delta Axon" I wrapped the cloth around my body well "greetings" I bowed slightly, hissing from the pain in my back "What are you doing here, uhmm, in the darkness?".    Axon stared at me for a while in total silence, his nose wiggled as he sniffed the air and his eyes turned dark.     "Camille did this to you" his voice wound hoarse.     Obviously yes and I wonder what he wants me to say now. Everyone in the park knows what I go through in her hands and that of her groupies.    "I am totally fine!" I faked a smile "Was washing some clothes then I fell" I wiggled her brows.     Axon stared at me for a while speechless and totally irritated. He scoffed as he looked around, trying really hard not to roll his eyes.     "The floor grow fist to give you black eye or purple bruises on your stomach?" Axon moved closer to me "The clothes grow claws too? And hurt your back and chin?" He attempt to touch me but I moved back, crashing herself into the wall "What's up with you Rain?"       I want to yell what's up with me to his face. I want to just say how I am sick of living, how Camille just keeps hitting me because I am weak. I want to tell him how humiliating it is to be 22 and still haven't shifted for the first time.    But no. Instead, I looked elsewhere making sure not to stare at him in the eyes and smiled painfully.    "It's not like you all care!" I paused for a few seconds, trying to analyze what my mistake would cause me "The last time you spoke to me was eight months ago" I sniffed "Why are you even here?"    "I saw Camille returning from the woods and I could smell you all over her" Axon replied instead.     I rolled my eyes. If I could have my way I would have just switched would with Axon so he would know how I feel.     "So my darkroom now looks like the woods, Delta Axon?".     Axon opened his mouth and closed it back without saying a word. Obviously, he is trying to maybe tell me something better and he usually does years ago.    "You won't understand" Axon moved back to his previous position and brought out a small bag he kept on my woody bed, "I thought you were dead!"    "Dead?" My jaw dropped as my brows bent.      Something inside of me keeps telling me that the big wolf in the woods could be him but the only difference is that I have seen Axon's wolf and his wolf is not as wild as that. Although he is black, big too, but not evil-looking.      "Do you want me dead?" I intoned.     Axon's eyes went wide open, he moved back and shook his head "Hell no! The wood is not in its right sense right now and I was thinking something bad might have happened. You know?!".    Feeling a bit relieved, I nodded twice.     "I appreciate your help and care Delta Axon" I bowed "If you won't get offended, please I need to treat myself, I am badly hurt" I winced as if the pain just started, maybe he sees me in pain he would want to go.     Axon's lips twisted in disgust as he stared at my face. His eyes went from my face to the rest part of her covered body before he brought out a syringe from his pocket. He drew his blood full and handed it over to me who refused to take it. He moved closer and offered his blood to me but I still refused it.    No way!     "Even if you get to the pack's doctor, you won't recover till the next two months" Axon scoffed "The wounds are deep and you know you don't heal".     Pained.    "Thank you for reminding me that I am a cursed wolf that doesn't heal," I said in pure satire as I forced myself not to roll her stormy eyes "Please. kindly let me sleep, you know I have lots of work to do tomorrow".    Not a new thing, everybody knows I am always occupied with work.    "I know. The last ball for Brook is tomorrow night and you have more than a lot to wash but if you don't take my blood, you will break before dawn" Axon slowly walked close to me "It's an order Rain, I want to heal you with my blood" he added sternly.    Imagine! That was in my mind by the way.     I stared at Axon for a longer period before collecting the syringe from him. My Brown eyes didn't leave his face as I contemplated if I should inject herself now or later. Making up my mind to do it now, I ended up staring up at him with brown ocean eyes.     "Still afraid of needles?" Axon scoffed "Grow up Rain, you won't die if the needle enters your body"    "Can I drink it instead?" I sniffed "Will it heal me that way too?"    Yes, it will but it would be slow and I know it. But the sight of a needle freaks me out!     Axon sigh. He took the syringe from my shaking hands and pulled me to sit on the bed close to him. His arm was at the small of my back where I kept looking like it would hurt her.     "You didn't say Brook would be mad as usual" Axon rolled his eyes.     "Not at all" My tears-choking small voice muttered "Just that I saw someone in the woods and I think I now -"     Axon scoffed, he kissed Rain's forehead while his right hand wandered. Rubbing my thighs while he lean closer, Axon looked straight into my eyes emotionlessly.       Before I could know what was happening, He stabbed my thigh with the syringe and stood up immediately. Getting prepared for anything to come, he threw the bag that was on my bed at me.      "Congratulations! You didn't die" Axon said in pure sarcasm "I won't be able to talk to you outside -"     "I get it" I interrupted in tears as I threw the empty syringe across the room "Ashamed of the cursed omega?".     "Since you don't eat meat like a normal wolf-"    "I am abnormal" I interrupted.    "I order you to stay silent till I finish talking" Axon half yelled "I am the son of the ex Alpha and I can't be seen with the likes of you but I want to help you as a... Friend?" He shrugged "You just need to come clean to Alpha Jaxon and tell him that Camille has been hurting you" he hushed.      I scoffed in my mind cause I don't have the strength to do that for real. My eyes went to the bag on my thighs as I lazily brought out an apple from it and began to chew after cleaning it on the bed. I ignored Axon's irritated remark as I bit into it again noisily.    "We both know Alpha Jaxon will kill me," I said "Camille is Elder Lex's daughter and she is the one meant for Alpha Brooklyn since we can't be mates because I am an omega" I added sadly.    "I know all that and I still want you to show yourself in Alpha Jaxon's chamber tomorrow morning. Besides, we both know you both had never been mates" Axon walked to the door "Make sure you see him as early as possible and make sure you put on a light or no makeup" he opened the door "You are not dead yet!"     I moved my neck back, and my brows lifted as I paused chewing.      Not dead yet! Is he planning to kill me or something?     Before I could reply or arrange anything else meaningful, Axon had left the room in a rush. He banged the door so hard that the entire room shook, leaving me to wonder why I have to see the Alpha tomorrow morning.
