Effortlessly throwing her over his shoulders, Rex kicked the door open and threw her to the bed. His fist connected with the wall and he began to yell while punching it. "You are my mate, Rain!" A sly smile spread across Rain's face as she stood up."You only want me because your first mate rejected you," Rain said breathless "I won't reject you, Alpha Rex, use me as you want, I don't care" She smirked, "I will make life a living hell for you". ^^^^^^^^^^ As long as history can tell, an Alpha has never been rejected before. RAIN'S POV     "Rainnnnn!!!" Someone yelled, "I will kill you, I swear I will!!!".     The rage with which the person walked in my direction is so outrageous that it had me clenching my clothes and trembling in fear for my pathetic life.    At that point, I felt so disoriented that moving properly became the most difficult thing to do.     My thighs, arms, and back hurt, and still have fresh wounds. Two days ago, 'the evil' Camilla and her crew had attacked me and made sure I was left as good as dead before letting me go.     The wound doesn't hurt much as I have become used to pain, the fact that no one acts like they could see me makes me want to end it all every single time. Just like how I am looking at the beast in form of a human and wanting it to end her life this time.    Without answering back, I knew it would be Camila. The annoying Beta's daughter has refused to let me stay a second of my pathetic life without feeling miserable just because of a man that honestly never notices them.    As an Omega, Living in a Pack can be so frustrating, but living outside the pack can be dangerous. Especially to the fact that I had not shifted in her entire life and I have to live with my nemesis.    Since I lost my parents in my previous Pack, getting to hope for a better life had never been part of my prayers. It was indeed a miracle that the Alpha Brook found me unconscious and brought me to his father's pack. Even when I am just an omega and was as good as dead.    It happened that a rival Pack had attacked our pack and killed everyone they saw, including the Alpha. The pack was a small pack with fewer warriors, all they had were Alpha and mates and pups.    We were one small pack that acted like family until the Mate of the Alpha's mate happens to be the same person the rival pack's Alpha wants.     Ironic! So annoying especially when the moon goddess gives everyone their mates.    All these years I have been in the pack's foster care then as soon as I turned 16, I got offered the opportunity to live alone with a job to be the pack's laundry service.    Gold right? Who would not want to live alone?      Working had been the secondary objective of my life, I could cook any meal at the age of 12. Allowing me to be herself became the best gift of my life that she chose to do and give me that little hope of having a better future.    According to what I was told because I could not remember anything except seeing my parents being devoured by mean-looking wolves and humans. The beast I will never forget in my entire life kept haunting my dreams, telling me how they love to come back and have me killed.     Not just them, they were these other sets. They seem like a couple of maybe mates and a little pup. I kept having the same dream, where the woman would hang her necklace around my neck and kiss my forehead.      "Stay strong for us".    Each time, each day. The woman has never changed what she says much more than the dream change. It's just like it's a part of my life that is been kept on repeat for so long that I have no idea what to do about it. All I then do is just wait and let the boring dream roll off.      One other thing is the look in their eyes. The pain in their eyes same as the hope and joy of having her.   It was as if they are also trying to tell me something, like passing a message but their voices were never audible after the woman's usual statement. Those faces, bloodstreams, screams, crying, and commotion still haunts me. Well, the doctor said I might get better if I shift because that is the only way her mind can heal.    'Not in this world'.    Too bad as I did not remember anything at all. Young Alpha Brook gave me the name Rain after the season I was found. As I gets older, I gave myself HOPE as her last name. I still have the hope that something might happen and life would change forever.    It's been twelve years, twelve years ago that I was found in the woods as cold as death. If not that wolves don't believe in the grim reaper, I might be believed to be a little one or its lost child.    There was nothing to trace me back, not even the necklace found around my neck could lead to any clue. The only thing Brook's father, Alpha Jaxon who was the acting Alpha at that did was to rank me as an Omega wolf till further notice.    'Not bad, at least I am not left alone to be devoured by any angry rogue'.    As nature would have still, Omega is the lowest in the pack so, therefore, Getting used to the punishment was something I decided for the rest of my pathetic life.    One day, I hope that I would find a mate and leave the pack.    Since I haven't shifted at the age of twenty-two, getting to do things other wolves do in the pack was highly prohibited.    The crystal ball pack is not far from the river which had separated them from the crystal lineage consisting of two other packs; Crystal Bond and Crystal Lake pack. The overall is Crystal moon pack which is the strongest of all.    Funny enough, the Crystal ball pack never takes in lower-rank wolves except the one born into them. They feel like it's just adding responsible to them. Even after all these years, Rain and the rest pack member could not tell why Alpha Brook brought me in much more keeping me under the custody of a pack member     Even his father Alpha Jaxon can't really tell but die to his luna's request and constant nagging, he had to keep the pup for his mate.      Brook on the other hand didn't seem to get too mixed up in my life. Before, he would spend time with me, and promise me all he could say including making me his mate until he suddenly got cold.     Too cold to be seen with an Omega wolf that acts as if I had never existed.   People change though.      Each day, it hurts me to see the man I had loved to take me like nothing or a total stranger.    What else can I imagine, life as a bed of roses?    So pathetic!    There is obviously no way a weak outcast Omega wolf to be the next Luna. Even if anyone else would have it, Camilia won't just want to have it, especially when she wants to be the next Luna so badly.    She is such a drama queen.     She wants to be in charge so bad that she now has me by my throat and hurled me to the ground for the fourth time in twenty seconds.      "Not again!" Camille screamed and stamped her left foot on the ground digging her heel into the sand.   She stomped towards me and without warning, her palm swept across her face for the fourth time today. Unlike before she would stop after hitting me once but this time she didn't, she added punches, and slaps, and lastly drew her claws on my shoulder to the long side of my back.    It hurt! Why can't this just end?     I didn't want to get into more trouble so I whimpered and then crawled into a ball as Camille began to kick my stomach yelling as she transfer aggression to the wrong person.    No doubt, I should have more than two broken ribs after this. Not like it's new tho, though I will pass it.     "Alpha Brook had refused to look at me because of you!!!" Camille growled as she threw one heavy punch at me "You disgusting! Low life Omega!!" She screamed.    It landed straight on the left side of my head. I tried to hold myself but I could not, in fact, only a low groan escaped my throat as I bashed my head again the ground.     I struggle to stay awake. I still have to do lots of Laundry and prepare for the new Alpha's last ball tomorrow.      I wonder what Camille would do as all I could see her do through the faint line from my barely open eyes was stare at me in shock.     'I am not dead, am I?'.
