CHAPTER 7

Arjun's POV

I was now in the lift which was going up to Dr. Naina's floor.

Ding dong

I reached her floor. There was a girl sitting on the reception I recognised her from yesterday I think her name is Pia. She greeted me and directed to Dr. Bhardwaj's cabin.

When I entered her cabin she was sitting on her chair and doing some work she immediately sensed my presence I stood up.

"Good afternoon Mr. Rai. Please have a seat" she said with her iconic smile.

I noticed her T-shirt it said I HAVE CUTEST NIECE IN THE WORLD. Hmmmm she must be close to her niece.

"Yeah so Mr. Rai this the schedule I have prepared for Jai he'll be coming to me thrice a week and he will continue his medicine as per prescribed by his previous doctor" she informed me while giving me a file. " I need to get this file signed but Dr. Saxena will come in the second half so can you send someone to collect these or should I come and give it to you?"

"Whatever is convenient to you" u said in a cold voice.

"Okay so I'll come and give it to you maybe by 9'o clock I will have to discuss also because it's our lunch time" she said while looking at the clock.

"Hmmm it's okay we will discuss it later if you want " I replied.

Suddenly the door opened and cute little girl came running. I saw her yesterday.

"Maaasssiiii" and she jumped on Naina.

"Akki baby please go out and wait I am talking to someone right" she said very sweetly.

"No it's okay Dr. Naina it's your lunch hour I should probably leave and beside I won't let this beautiful lady wait" I smiled at Akki.

'Akki did you say hello to Mr. Rai? Say hello to him"

"Hello" she said while waving her hand at. I then noticed her shirt it said I AM AS CUTE AS MY MAASI

"Hello you are very cute indeed just like your maasi" I said with a smile and then saw Naina blushing. Now she looked even more cute. I am gonna make this girl mine.

"Okay Dr. Naina I'll see you then. And you too miss cute little Akki" he said to Akki.

"Of course Mr. Handsome" Akki replied. I then left her cabin.

Naina's POV

Ooo my god Mr. Rai called me cute and not only cute he smiled like really?!?!?!?

Anyways after that I went for lunch with Akki and Kabir.

Now it was almost 8:30. I need to give these files to Mr. Rai but should I go now he asked me to bit now. Hmmmmm........

I think I should go.

I collected my stuff and the file. And then exited my cabin.

I was now standing outside Mr. Rai's office. It was indeed a tall building it was so tall that I couldn't see it from beneath. So I entered the building.

There was a receptionist with a friendly face.

"Hi ma'am how can may I help you" she asked me

"Hi I would like to meet Mr. Arjun Rai. I am Dr. Naina Bhardwaj I replied.

"Ohh, ma'am why didn't you tell me earlier" she said. She pointed towards an elevator "Ma'am please take that second elevator it will take you directly to Mr. Rai's secretary's floor. I'll call her so don't worry" she said with a smile.

Okay this was weird did Mr. Rai knew I was coming of course he did.

The lift ride was small. I soon reached 49th floor Mr. Rai's secretary's floor. The building was really tall.

Ding.

The door opened. There were few cabins. I exited the lift. I was looking around the place. Woah.

"Hello ma'am how can I help y-" she was interrupted by me.

"Naaz aunty" she then hugged me. She was Jia's aunt

"Ooo so you are Dr. Bhardwaj" she smiled.

"And I guess you are Mr. Rai's secretary" I smiled back.

"Yes I am Arjun's secretary but I guess you should go now otherwise he will be very angry" she laughed. Was there a joke. I don't know.

"Okay"

"And yes Naina let's go for a coffee I'll call Jia also"

"Okay sounds great" and then I entered the lift.

I was now on the top floor. When I stepped out of the lift I was awestruck. The view was amazing it was all glass and I could see the lights through it. I was still admiring the view when I heard someone clearing his throat. I hurriedly turned.

"Dr. Naina I expected you in my cabin as soon as you arrived and not admiring the view and beside" he leaned closer to me "I will personally show you each and every corner of this floor" he said with a smirk. I was taken aback by his action. We were so close that if he was my boyfriend I would have kissed him. I mean he have all the qualities looks body reputation and of course money.

Arjun's POV

We were really very close. I really wanted to explore her mouth. But I know Dr. Naina is not like others she's different and that's the thing that draws me to her.

"Have you got the files Dr. Naina?" We were now sitting in my cabin.

"Yeah I got them signed from Dr. Saxena now we can go on with the sessions" she said while giving the files.

I sighed them.

"They are you parents" she said while looking at the photo frame on my desk.

"Yes"

"They stay with you?" She asked.

"No" I snapped back at her

I was not really comfortable talking about my parents as I really miss them they stay in Mumbai. I am cold arrogant and rude but not to my family.

Well I guess she sensed my behaviour and didn't asked any

further.

I finished signing the document.

"Thank you" she just said without even glancing at me.

Oh no what have I done. But why is it bothering me?

She collected her bag and the file. I also took my laptop bag and my car keys and locked my cabin.

What should I do should I talk to her. Should I apologise. Hmmmm.....

"Dr. Naina" oh no why are you still calling her Dr. Naina.

"Yes Mr. Rai"

"How are you going back home" agghhh can't you ask something better.

"Well I have some plans with your secretary Mrs. Khan. So I am going with her" she said that and then we entered the lift.

"You know her?" I asked.

'Yeah she's my friend's aunt" she said without any enthusiasm in her voice.

I wished I could give her a ride home then I could have apologised. Let me talk to Mrs. Khan.
