CHAPTER 6

Naina's POV

So here I am in my bed still thinking about last night. I think I am over doing and shouldn't be thinking of it no big deal. It was all a coincidence. Got it girl. Yeeeeaaaah you better get it.

After a little peep talk with myself I got up from my bed and headed to the washroom. I looked at my self I was looking like a complete mess. Ohh.....

Goddddd.

I washed my face and then went downstairs.

I saw Kabir as usual sitting on the couch but to my surprise he was not in his usual position. That was TV's remote in one hand and chips bowl in other and lying on the couch like an ape. But he was typing something furiously on his laptop. God knows what.

"My my my someone is busy" I said with a giggle.

"Back off I am very busy. Get lost" he was really very annoyed. God knows why.

"Why what happened? Why are you so pissed off?" I asked.

"Because of you favourite Dr. Chandra I have to send all my surgery reports till the date I have done for some annual check. Why didn't you tell me that you have already send yours I could send mine too. And now today is the last day. I hate you hate you hate you" then he started typing on his laptop again.

"Oohh come on Kabir how can you forget your deadlines and you can't blame Nai for this. And do you remember you have to take Akki for a movie today?" My elder sister Nisha always to my rescue well not always she's very evil to sometimes.

"Ohh come on di(elder sister) I can't go on have a lot of reports to submit" he said still typing on his laptop.

"But you promised me Kabir maamu that you will take for a movie" Akki was almost in tears. Awww. She looked so cute. Naiiiii what are you doing she's crying. Stupid idiot.

Di lifted Akki in her arms.

"Kabir no excuses you will have to take her. Come on. Get up" my sister commanded.

"Di why can't you take her" I asked.

"Because I have to go and meet my friends it's girls day out so I have to I can't miss it" she said.

"What about mom and dad. Can't they take her?" I asked.

"No no no I can't risk if she'll go with them god knows what she'll buy. No way"

"Send Naina she's always free" Kabir said.

"Hey what do you mean always free. Yeah but I can take" I said.

"There's no option. But be careful. I don't want to come to know that two little girls were on the streets of Delhi without a guardian" she said that and left before I could say anything.

Haaa so mean.

"Okay Akki go and change it will be a day out with maasi" I said

And ran towards her room to change.

I took a bath and then wore a white shirt and black jeans. I didn't required makeup but still I applied kajal to my eyes and left. Haa perfect me.

Akki was already there sitting on the couch waiting for me.

"Maasi let's go we are getting late" she said while jumping.

"Okay okay let's go. Bye" we hailed a cab to the mall.

We watched a movie and then we went to a cute little shop where Akki bought and I bought ourselves shirt. On my shirt it was written I HAVE CUTEST NIECE IN THE WORLD. Whereas on her shirt it was written I AM AS CUTE AS MY MAASI.

We then went to the food court and ate our burgers.

"Maasi will you wear your new shirt to work tomorrow?" She asked.

"Of course I will wear it," I said with a smile.

"Ok then I will come with Kabir maamu tomorrow during the lunch break wearing my shirt," she said

"Okay, I will wait for you. But now let's go back" I said. And we headed towards the exit.

We were sitting on the bench and waiting for our Ola to come. 25 minutes waiting. Aggghhhh. I should have booked it earlier now suffer. I called Kabir and asked him to pick us up from the mall. I agreed. So now here I was waiting for him.

Arjun's POV

It has been a long day. I have been working all day in my office now it was time to get Jai from the mall. I could have sent a driver but I want to pick him personally.

Now I was exactly outside the mall when something caught my eyes. Dr Naina was sitting on a bench and a small girl sitting beside her holding hands. Suddenly a man came and Naina jumped on him like a monkey. And she said something to him and then they went. Was this her boyfriend. If so, soon he will not. I saw Jai coming with one of my bodyguards. He sat in the passenger seat and then we left.

I think I should apologize for my yesterday's behaviour. I was now lying on my bed looking at the ceiling. No way I am one of the most powerful people on this planet I am not going to apologize. Never ever with that, I drifted in sleep.

The next morning I went to the gym. I knew many girls were looking at me after all I had the perfect body any girl would dream to worship off.

It was almost eight I need to get going with that I made my way towards my brand new BMW.

Suddenly my phone started ringing it was my PA Mrs Khan.

"Yes, Mrs Khan" I answered.

"Arjun where are you? Get down to office now" she ordered me.

"Yea yea I'll be there soon"

"You better be" she threatened me.

Yes you heard it right she was threatening me after my mum she was the only one who could threaten me.

I quickly reached home took a bath changed into my black Armani suit with crisp ironed white shirt and a black tie I had my breakfast and left. Jai had already gone to school he is a responsible kid I thought to myself.

It was now 1:30 and then Mrs. Khan came in.

"Arjun you have to go to the hospital today as Jai's reports have come so will go now or after the lunch," she asked.

"Yeah, I'll go right now. Better not to delay this" with that I left.
