CHAPTER 5

Naina's POV

He just drove past me just like that. What a dumbass. Just because of him I am so pissed off. When my day was ending happily I screwed it up. Could have agreed to him in a one go stupid.

I was so upset that I ended up calling my best friend Jia Zaidi.

Ring. Ring. Ring. Ring.

Ahhh. Idiot why the heck is she not answering.

"Naina is everything okay?" She asked in a concerned tone because I never called her that late.

'Yea just felt like talking. Are you free. Can we talk."

"I am always free for you baby" she replied. "You wanna meet up or something?" She asked.

"I don't know I am very sad. Ahhhh....." I faked a cry.

"Okay fine I know the best bar in the city let's go there. And you know what the best part is there are many cute boys with really deep pockets" she said.

"Okay send me the address. I'll be there." I said.

"Ok" she hung up.

Soon Jia sent me the address and I was off to the bar. I won't drink.

As I entered the bar a strong alcoholic smell hit my nostrils it was way too strong. The bar name was pretty awkward Casino park. Whatever I rolled my eyes and then started searching for Jia. Ahhhh she was right there on the bar counter talking to the bartender with a sly smile on her face. Typical Jia.

"Hi" I said.

"Hi" she said and then turned to bar tender. "Ok then me and my friend will take two red velvet" she said.

"Ohh..... I don't wanna drink alcohol" I said while settling on the bar stool.

"Come on. Ignore her." She said and the bartender started making our drinks.

"Jia I don't wanna drink. I don't wanna show up at home drunk. I said angrily.

"Who is saying you to drink just hold the glass so that people don't think you are some boring Doctor. For whom fun means classical singing holiday means going to Nanital on long weekends and se-"

"Fine I got the point" I said cutting her off. Good she needs some mental help.

"So you wanna talk about why your mood was bad" she asked me not sure of my reaction while sipping her drink.

"Ok let start"

"Okay"

"You know about Arjun Rai. Right?" I asked.

"Who doesn't the most sexy handsome eligible bachelor of the country" she stated.

"Yeah whatever. So his nephew is my patient so today was first day and so The Arjun Rai also came and-"

"O My God" she scremed pulling the attention of many people there. "Opps what are you saying you met him god I am jealous" she smirked

"Why are you getting so excited. He's not some god or something-"

"Ahh Greek God to be precise" she stated.

"Yeah whatever- " I was speechless when I saw Arjun and another man with him entering the bar. I immediately ducked my head.

"What happened?" Jia asked.

"Talk of the devil and devil arrives. ARJUN RAI is here", I was terrified.

"Oh my god. Just wait here I'll talk to that asshole how dare he made you upset" she said angrily.

"No no, no way I don't want him to know that I am here. Okay?" I said

"But why?" She asked.

"Jia just understand let's get out of here," I said.

"Okay," she paid the bartender and then started moving towards the exit.

"Hey, baby girls wanna dance with us" two absolutely drunk people approached us.

"Get the hell out of here," Jia said angrily.

One of the men tried to force himself on me but before he could have a dome that he was pulled by his shoulder and thrown on the ground. I opened my eyes to see who it was but was shocked to see Arjun Rai. The next thing which I saw was even more devastating.

Arjun was kicking and punching the man like hell.

"No Arjun stop" his friend shouted. Who was trying to stop him

"Please Arjun stop" I grabbed his hand. At that very moment, he stopped. I am that powerful I thought to myself.

He cupped my face and asked with concern " are you okay? Naina are you fine are you hurt somewhere" he voice was so gentle and soothing.

"Yea...... yeah I am fine" I replied.

The next thing I know what I did was not right I walked towards Jia and grabbed her hand and walked out of the bar.

Once we were out Jia busted.

'What the hell is wrong with you dude. You should be thankful to him he saved us and all you did was walked away. Aghhhh......." she stated.

"Please J don't judge me. I just wanna go home I am tired"

She rolled her eyes and then we hailed a cab back home. All the way back home there was just thinking why was he so angry. Was he concerned for me or for his nephew's doctor? I just don't know. I bod goodbye to Jia and then rang the bell on my front door. Good, I was so tired.

Kabir opened it.

'Long day huh?" He asked.

"Yeah I am really tired"

'And have the perfect thing for you to end your day" he said that and headed towards the kitchen and came back with a plate of chocolate pastry.

"Awwww thank you just perfect"

"Okay, then goodnight" and then he kissed my forehead.

Kabir is not that bad. I know he is always there for me.

I finished my pastry and then changed my clothes and went to bed. Today was really a hectic day. Thank god tomorrow is Sunday.
