CHAPTER 4

Naina's POV

I was ready to leave for home but before that I had to make a stop at sweets shop otherwise Kabir will turn into a murder. I sighed my register at the reception and then headed for my car.

I gave a smile to the guard and then went towards the basement. I took my keys out and then went inside my car. I started the engine.

Ghrrr Ghrrr Ghrrr......

It was not starting then I saw the fuel tank it was empty.

"Ahhh I am gonna kill Kabir" I knew it. It was him behind this he took my car yesterday to meet his friends. I decided to book a Ola but there was no signal in the basement so I decided to go out and then try to book.

"Can't you see..." I shouted. I bumped into someone really hard I was still holding my head looking down with a frown on my face.

"I am sorry Dr. Bhardwaj " the person said. Shit it was Mr. Rai indeed.

"I am sorry I didn't meant to shout at you" still rubbing my forehead I had that frown on my face.

"Ohh no its fine I can understand. You were in a hurry. I guess."

Ohh I completely forgot 'yea I need to go" to went pas him.

I opened the app there was a waiting for 20 min on all the cabs. Ahhh why does this happen to me. I decided to wait for a while.

Suddenly a car came and stopped in front of me. It a big black Mercedes. I didn't know the model because I was not that into the cars. The chauffeur came out and then I realised it didn't stop for me. Stupid of me.

Mr. Rai. Of course it was his no one in the hospital owns such an expensive car. The he turned to me I quickly looked in my phone.

"Waiting for someone?" He asked.

"Yeah" I replied.

"Who?" He asked.

"Cab. My car ran out of fuel so I had to now wait for the cab" I sighed.

"Dr. Bhardwaj would you mind if I offer a free ride to your home?" I asked with a smile.

"Ummm...... I could have accepted that but I have to make a little stop somewhere in the middle so that will cause you inconvenience" I smiled. Fu*k why am I smiling so much.

"That's not a problem I'll drop you wherever you want and plus it's Delhi. What if something happens to you." He said in a concerned tone.

"But it will cause you inconv-"before I could complete my sentence he grabbed my hand and led me to the car.

"Just stop talking and come I won't mind becoming your driver for an hour" he said in a cold tone.

Before this I have never ever sat in a Mercedes that's why I was looking around the car. It was a beauty indeed.

"So where do you want to go Naina. Wait is it fine with you if I call you Naina and not Dr. Bhardwaj because it seem I am addressing to an old rude Doctor." He said.

"Sure you can call me that Mr. Rai I also don't like when someone call me Dr. Bhardwaj" I said.

"Then in return you should call me Arjun it would be better. Try it" he said while turning his engine on.

"Arjun" I said.

"Yeah that's perfect" he smiled.

We were now on the main road. I quickly tied my hair in a messy bun.

"So where did you want to go? He asked.

"Ummm..... bengali sweets " I replied still struggling with my hair.

"Okay" he replied.

We were silent on the ride it was awkward but still it comforted me. Then suddenly my phone rang it was from home.

"Hello" I said.

"Nai where are you?"It was my sister akii's mom.

"Di I am going to the sweets shop so I'll be back in an hour" I replied.

"Fine but be here before dinner"

"Ahh...... listen what's there for dinner?" I whispered. Cause I didn't wanted Arjun to listen to me. It was so embarrassing.

"Something which you don't like so it would be better if you something heavy at the sweet shop itself." She replied.

"Umm..... Ok thanks. Bye"

"Bye"

I hung up the phone.

I will probably have sondesh (type of a sweet) or mishti doi (type of a curd). Yummy. I was so busy smiling that I didn't even noticed that Mr. Arjun was giving me a wierd get glare.

"Are you fine?" We were at a red light.

"Yes" I blushed. God this is so it embarrassing.

"Awww Dr. Naina you look so cute when you blush" he smiled. That was rear. I Guess. And then I blushed even more.

"Will you please stop embarrassing me?" I was furious.

"Okay I am sorry" he said while controling his laughter.

Come on Nai you are an idiot.

Arjun's POV

I don't why the hell she was smiling but whatever it was she looked so cute. I guess she was thinking about something and got excited. We arrived at the sweet shop.

"Thank you Mr. Rai. For giving me a ride." She opened the door and got off.

"Naina don't you want a ride back to your home?" Please say yes. I prayed.

"Uhhh..... no I will go by myself. It will take a little bit of more time for me to go from here I don't want you to waste you time" she smiled.

"Ahh.... no its okay I can wait for you. And besides it's Delhi" I convinced her. I hope she is convinced enough. I would wait for her all night if she wants. Aghhh get a grip you dumbass. You do not like her. Got it?!?!?! Maybe?

"Well-" she started.

"You know what I'll go I have a lot of work to do. Night" I cut her off and drove past her. Well done now she will hate you. Great. I smiled to myself but I knew I didn't do the right thing. I'll get over it. I then headed to my mansion. But before that I am gonna catch with my friend maybe at a bar.

I called Nile.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

He picked up finally.

"Yes Mr. Most eligible bachelor CEO of the country. Hoe my I help you." He said. I wanted to snap at him but just said.

"I know you are free and up for a drink. Meet me at Casino park at exact 10 min from now. Got it.

"Yes sir" he said just like an army officer. Well obviously he must be used to it cause he is an army doctor though.

I hung up and then headed to the bar.
