Richard was about to leave when Sandra, Lucy's step sister, showed up. Sandra was surprised when she saw Richard dragging his big luggage.

"Richard, what is happening? Where are you taking your luggage to?" Sandra asked.

"Lucy fired me from the company and served me with divource paper. I'm leaving." Richard replied and Sandra's eyes widened in shock.

"What? why?" Sandra turned to Lucy. "What is going on? Is he telling the truth?"

"And what if it's true? What business do you have with it? I fired and divorced him! Yes, I did. I don't need him in my life. He's useless to me, and he was never in my league anyway."

"How could you do this? Firing and divorcing him? After all the things he had done for you?"

"He had not done anything for me." Lucy sneered. "He's just holding me back. He tricked father into marrying me and making him one of the directors. Now that father is no more, i have the privilege to amend things."

"Amend things or destroy things? Father trusted Richard and knew what he was capable of. He knew how talented Richard was and You are just going to throw him out like a trash? And what about the divorce? You are also divorcing him because father is no longer here to protect him?"

"Yeah, I'm divorcing him because he have served his purpose. I got married to him because of my dad, I never wanted him. Besides, I have Richmond now. He's rich and powerful, More connected than Richard will ever dream of."

"Richard had been royal to father's company. Kicking him out will leave a hole no one will fill." Sandra said and Lucy laughed.

"Richard had been bleeding the company dry with his incompetence. Father made him one of the directors out of pity, not because he really deserved it. Thanks to my manager. He had replaced him with someone better. Someone who is going to work with me and others to enhance the progress of the company."

Sandra shook her head, "You are so heartless.. ......Anyway, at least he have this house. He can put it for auction and get enough money to stand." Sandra said and Lucy laughed again

"I can see you are ignorance of what is happening."

"Richard is not getting the house. He's not leaving with anything. Only the things he managed to put into his smelling luggage. I've already wiped all the money in the bank account dad opened for him."

"You are taking everything from him? That's cruel!"

"I always had feelings that you don't like Richard, but I never knew you would be this cruel to someone who loves you with all his heart. You will definitely regret this."

"Love?" Lucy snorted. "I don't need that kind of love. He is only good in the kitchen and taking care of the house. I don't need a man like him as my husband. I deserve a real man."

"Yeah," Richmond said. "Lucy deserves someone who will give her a better life and I'm the one."

Sandra twirled her attention to Richmond. "And what exactly do you plan to give her? A life of luxury and deceit?"

"Shut up, Sandra!" Lucy's face twisted in anger. "You don't know anything about Richmond. You are talking to a billionaire. A man who is capable of bringing my company to another higher level. Unlike people who loves to reap where they did not sow." She sneered at Richard.

"Yes, My father's company is one of the most successful company in the city. As the only son, I will collaborate with Lucy and bring her up to another height. Unlike Richard, who had been holding it back with his incompetency."

Sandra took a step closer and Richard tried to hold her back. "I don't believe you. You just wanted to use Lucy and get your hands on my father's company assets."

"Sandra, stop being too dramatic" Lucy said with a cold dismissive voice. "Stay out of my business. It doesn't concern you."

"It concerns me. It's still my father's company even though my mother was kicked out by your mom. You guys are destroying our family's legacy and hurting innocent people."

"Oh! I can see!" Lucy sneered. "You are just mad because you and your mother are stuck with that pathetic textile company, while I'm running the main show with my mother and brother. Your mother is too weak to fight for her right as the first wife."

"You have no right to talk about my mother like that. She only gave up for peace to reign, not that she cannot fight for her rights."

"A looser will always have excuse." Lucy laughed. "Anyway, just stay out of my way and let me run the business the way I want. Focus on your own problem. You are yet to save the textile company from bankrupting."

"I doubt it, Sandra. I just made the best decision of my life. You are just a pathetic little insect trying to sting me but I'm not even feeling it."

"Whatever," Sandra turned to Richard with soft expression, "Come with me, Richard. I will take you to my house."

Richard shook his head, "No, I don't want to become a burden to you. I can survive on my own. You can go."

"I can't leave you this way." Sandra insisted. "I'm sure you don't have any place to go. I don't want you to suffer. And... I don't want you to go back to your poor parents. They will be disappointed in you. You can stay with me until we get this mess sorted out."
