Chapter 22 Turmoil

They arrived at the second security check.

The first check ensured everyone entered without any hazardous articles.

The second check would let the guests enter by identifying their invitation cards.

Many bigwigs would attend the ceremony. To avoid any unexpected incidents, their invitation cards were electronic, which needed to be swiped on the equipment.

“Impossible!”

“My father gave this car to me in person. My information has been input in hit. How could it fail to read it?” Wu Fei roared in a panic.

“Calm down, Sir. The equipment failed to identify your invitation card, so you cannot enter.”

“Please leave,” the security disguised by a Dragon Teeth team member reminded him politely.

“Bullshit!”

Pointing at him, Wu Fei snarled, “You are just a security guard. Who do you think you are to talk to me in this way?”

“Known who I am?”

“Do you know how powerful our Wu family is?”

“Ask your manager to see me.”

Wu Fei was too angry. While he spoke, he wanted to break in.

No security guard in Stillwater had ever had the guts to block him from an event. For Primal’s sake, he had been polite enough.

After blowing up, Wu Fei exposed his true color.

The security guard strode to him sternly and stopped him with a Tai Chi Push. Wu Fei fell to the ground with a loud bang.

He cried in pain, “How dare you hit me!”

“You are in trouble. All of you!”

“Are you OK, Honey?” Su Nan helped him stand up in a panic.

Several security guards rushed over sullenly. One snapped, “Don’t you have any idea where you are?”

“Yell again. Today will be the last day you can speak.”

Wu Fei and Su Nan saw the pistols on their belt.

Only then did they realize the identities they had always been proud of meant nothing in some people’s eyes.

After calming down, they both paled and buttoned their lips.

Qin Tian pushed Su Su’s wheelchair over. He darted at Wu Fei as if the latter were a stray dog.

He sneered, “Master Fei, I’ll get even with you in the future.”

“I can tell you my wife will recover soon. Save your curiosity.”

Su Beishan, who had been watching the scene, shouted at him agitatedly, “How dare you come here, Qin Tian!”

“Get out!”

Wu Fei also growled, “He has no invitation card. Why don’t you kick him out?”

Looking at the security guards with fierce looks, Yang Yulan was too frightened to utter a word.

Qin Tian smiled at the security guards. “Thank you for your hard work.”

“I’m Hao’s friend. Can you please show me the way?”

The security guards realized what was going on. In a hurry, they bowed at him and replied politely, “I see. You are Hao’s friend.”

“Hao’s friend is also mine. Mr. Qin, you can enter without a card. This way, please.”

“Thanks.” Qin Tian nodded at them in response and pushed Su Su in.

“Who could it be possible?” Su Beishan, Su Nan, and Wu Fei gaped.

They couldn’t figure out who the person named Hao was to be so powerful.

His name could be used as the pass to avoid the basic security check.

After returning to his senses, Su Beishan rushed to the entrance and urged, “I’m Qin Tian’s grandfather. Please let me enter.”

“Stop it, old man. Do you have an invitation card?”

“Swipe your card here.”

Fortunately, Su Beishan’s card was identified.

He said to Su Nan and Wu Fei, “You guys go home. Let me handle everything.”

After entering the hall, Qin Tian saw it had been fully packed, but the room was filled with dead silence.

No one was onstage. Qin Tian’s attention was attracted by the audience in the first and second rows.

Ten chairs were in the first row, but only four were occupied.

The four persons lowed the brim of their hats, afraid others to see their faces clearly.

However, only the insider knew who they were and how shocking their identities were.

They were Steve Paulman from the State of Nona, John Martin from the State of Cona, Dean Harris from Heukwok, and Elvis Presley from Sicily.

Compared to the silent, solemn first row, the second row was quite a view.

Dozens of beautiful women were sitting there as if they were from the paintings.

They stared at the stage eagerly, eyes full of passion and love.

Although their beauty varied, they wore the same badge on their chest -- the Tulip badge.

It was assigned by the top club for worldwide celebrities.

Their family properties must be at least 50 billion dollars to enter the club. Also, the girls needed to meet high requirements.

They were not superficial women getting by their beauty but graduated from top universities worldwide.

Besides, they have talents in all kinds of arts.

They were the dream, ideal women for every man. Countless men wished to marry them.

However, they had gathered in the hall for only one man, the celestial-like one.

After the first two rows, other bigwigs from Stillwater locally had to sit upright like elementary students attending their first class.

Qin Tian was amused by the scene.

He reminded himself to be cautious when using Ghost Door Thirteen Needles in the future.

If not, turmoils would be caused.

The thought brought him a slight migraine.

“Where shall we sit, Qin Tian?” Yang Yulan asked him in a low voice.

She found the guest's name on each seat’s back.

Qin Tian saw two seats in a row in the middle with the names Su Nan and Wu Fei, so he chuckled, “We can sit over there.”

Yang Yulan was keyed up. Right after taking the seat, she heard a man’s voice next to her. “Hello, Ms. Yang. Why are you here?”

When she turned around, she saw a bald head.

“Hi, Mr. Lu.”

She recognized it was a vice president of the Hospital of Phoenix named Lu Xinjian. Yang Yulan looked awkward, though.

Earlier, when she was in charge of her pharmaceutical company, she wanted to cooperate with the Hospital of Phoenix many times, so she negotiated with Lu Xinjian.

Initially, he asked her for all kinds of documents about her company. Yang Yulan thought it was standard procedure, so she misunderstood him as a professional leader.

After a dinner party, Lu Xinjian exposed his true color.

Since Yang Yulan had been a widow for many years but still looked charming, he had evil intentions.

He told her if she was willing to become his mistress and sleep with him at least three times a week, he would sign the contract immediately.

Yang Yulan slapped him and escaped the restaurant. From then on, she never entered the Hospital of Phoenix again.

It had been several years, and she didn’t expect to meet him on this occasion.

Seemingly Lu Xinjian had been successful in his career. The title under his name on the chair was the hospital dean.

Looking at Yang Yulan, Lu Xinjian could hardly repress his lust. He had never conquered her, so he always missed her.

After darting on the name behind her chair, he chuckled, “How did you manage to sneak in?”

“I see. You want to seek a chance to get your daughter cured, right?”

“Don’t panic. I won’t expose you. After all, we’ve been friends for years.” As he spoke, he wanted to grab her hand.

He didn’t think Yang Yulan would resist as he had found her tricks.
