Chapter 5

I walked out of the kitchen and into the living room,I turn and my heart nearly stopped when I saw the door.I swallowed the big gulp that was in my troat.I walked slowly to the door and put my hand on the door knob. I haven't been outside in so long.My heart was beating fast right now.I turn the knob and the light made my eye squint. I stepped on the first step and then the other.I was finally outside and I took a deep breath to calm down. I made it.

Then I saw a man walking along and he looked at me with a serious face.I stepped back,I wanted to run back inside but I ran to the car and lock myself in.I jumped in the back seat and laid down.After a while I peeked out the window and he was gone.I went back to the front seat and started the car.I pulled out the drive way and drove shakily to school.Less than five minutes,I pulled in through the gate of the large building and parked my car.My hands were visible shaking from fear.I looked around and saw a lot of kids.They all looked...free.Why couldn't I be like that.Something hit the side of the car and I screamed. I brought my knees to my chest and held my head down.Then there was a knock on the window.I wanted to scream again but I swallowed it.I slowly took my head up,eyes still close.I slowly open them and surprisingly it a the guy,Ashton from yesterday. I wasn't looking at him but I could see in the corner of my eyes.I breath in and out slowly,staring at my steering wheel. There was another knock on the window and I jumped.I turn my head and looked at him.He was smiling at me.He stepped back from the car and motion me to come out.I held my head back down as my hand began to shake more.A tap on the window again and I look up.

"Please".he pleaded and step back more.

I looked in front of me.I took in a deep breath and exhale closely.I brought my knees down and put my hand on the car door.I open it slowly and step out.When I was fully out I locked the door and brace on it.Hugging my self and looking at the ground.I see him coming closer to me and I started to tremble and back away around the car.He stop.

"Hey,its okay,I won't hurt you".

I stopped and I slowly look up at him,he look so calm,gently he look like a nice person.As I said his voice sounded welcoming.He came closer and reach out to touch me.

"Don't!".I almost scream.

He pulled back his hand very quickly and look in my eyes.I look down,Not knowing what to do the only thing I knowing is that if he makes anymore move I'm yelling for my life.

"Is there a reason that you're afraid of me?".I hear him ask.

I shook my head still not looking up.

"Did I do something to you?".

I shook my head again.

"Then why are you afraid of me?".

"St-stop a-asking questions!".I stuttered.

"Okay okay I'm sorry".

"Its not j-just y-you I'm a-afraid of".I wanted to just go back home right now.

"And why are you afraid".I look up at him.

"Just leave me alone".I hurried away
