Jamie's phone buzzed loudly and Jamie stopped dancing as she turned the stereo set off and grabbed her phone and turned off the alarm. She bent down and picked her school bag before walking towards the switch in the rook and turning it off.
The sky had gone more darker but the street lights and lights from restaurants and houses made it seem like it was evening. Jamie climbed down the ladder and jumped down when it remained a few steps.
She adjusted her bag on her back and pulled her hood over her head as she slipped her hands into the pockets before making her way towards the train station.
She stopped to pull her headset which she had designated with a graffiti and placed it over her head as Chris Brown's Party started blaring in her ears.
She woved easily through the crowd slipping through the small gaps the crowd had felt till she got to the train station. A train was about to leave and she pursed her lips before bursting into a race.
Flying over the barricades like a pro, she was able to enter the train before the door closed. Sighting deep inside, she found a seat and sat down.
The two girls seated beside her looked at her weirdly as they hitched away from her. Jamie chuckled before she removed the hood from her head revealing a fair, flawless face as her black rich, inky hair made an entrance.
The two girls seemed dumbfounded as Jamie rested her back and closed her eyes tapping softly on her legs in rhythm to the song flowing into her ears.
She felt her sneakers laces come lose apparently from her race to get into the train. She bent down and tied them skillfully and just as she raised her head her eyes caught a pair of white and blue sneakers across her.
She recognised the sneakers immediately as she had seen it online but it was a limited edition. And before she could order for hers, it had finished.
She rested her back and allowed her eyes to follow the legs wearing the sneakers and Jamie could help but admit that the long and lean legs that ended in the sneakers were attractive and just as she saw the person's face, she felt the world come to a standstill.
She came to face with a round flawless face, twice as flawless as hers. A pointed and flat nose. The small round lips opened and closed as he spoke. His beautiful brows drawn and released as he spoke. His short hair fell just above his ears and she could see the parting on his forehead. He seemed to turn at that moment and Jamie came to face with the most beautiful hazel eyes she had seen in her entire life.
His eyes swept over her as he turned and continued talking to the guy beside him. He slipped his hands into his jean jacket as she spoke.
Jamie could feel her breath quickening. He was the most beautiful human being she had set her eyes on in her entire life. The person he was speaking to laughed and one look at the guy told her he was his brother.
She found herself glancing towards them severally staring at the hazel eyed guy till her eyes could almost pop out. She was staring at them when the train stopped and both of them got up from their seat and walked out of the train.
Jamie rushed for her phone and quickly took a picture of them both. She pursed her lips as she checked the picture. It was a blurry and couldn't even make out their faces well enough.
"He's fucking beautiful" Jamie breathed as she sat back in her chair.
The train stopped at another bus stop and Jamie got down and started her walk towards her house. It was a short journey as she soon arrived at a house with tall black gates and fence painted in plain white.
Jamie pressed the doorbell and the gate opened almost immediately. She walked into the house and closed the door behind her.
"Why do you always come late?" Her mom asked as she sat down on a chair in the dining table.
"I just forgot myself for a while" Jamie replied as she picked one of fried, oiled chicken. She tore a part and started eating.
"Grandma wants to come say hello to her tomorrow. I'll go and drop you off" Her mom added and Jamie replied.
"Where's Dad? On a trip again?" Jamie asked as her mom sighed.
"Your dad and I work because of you sweetie. You have to be considerate" her mom replied ad Jamie chuckled and carried her plate of chicken as she stood up.
"Frankly speaking, I think I am considerate enough" Jamie said as she carried her bag with her second hand before heading for the staircase.
The staircase was a circle and as soon as the circle ended, Jamie opened the door on her right before flinging her bag towards a girl.
She walked into the large bedroom covered with a plain black rug and a king sized bed in the middle. The bed was covered with purple flowery covers with about three pillows on it.
On the table near it was a photo frame of a man and a woman with a little girl in the middle while they all smiled beautifully at the camera. There was another one beside it with three girls all smiling.
The walls were covered with different graffiti and paintings, words and quotes included. Despite the numerous graffiti, paintings, words and quotes; the room still carried a comfortable and colorful air.
Jamie sat down at the edge of her bed as she picked another chicken leg before grabbing the unnoticeable TV remote on the bed and turning the TV on.
Crossing her legs underneath her, she fixed her eyes on the TV as she watched one of her favourite shows. The face of the hazel eyed guy she had seen earlier suddenly popped up in her head and Jamie stopped eating her chicken as she chuckled.
"Damn!" She whispered.
