Jamie shook the can of paint in her hand vigorously before she finally finished her graffiti. She took two steps backwards and admired her painting.
She wore a small smile before she packed the cans of spray paints into her bag. Throwing the empty ones into the dustbin, she looked around before swiftly flying over the wooden fence and burst into a race.
She didn't stop running until she got to the main road that was full of people. She threw her hood over her head as she walked in the midst of the crowd easily woving her way through the tall bodies.
Her phone rang in her pockets and she quickly dipped her hands into her pockets and brought her phone. Seeing the caller ID, she wore a smile as she picking the call.
"Heyyyyy" a voice said from the other end and Jamie smiled.
"What's up Lily?" Jamie asked.
"Where are you? You aren't at home" Lily replied and Jamie pursed her lips as she stopped in front of the cake shop.
"I went out. Why are you at my home?" Jamie asked as she pointed to a box of cake in the show glass.
"You went grafting didn't you? Why didn't you call me? I want to take pictures" Lily whined and Jamie gave the saler money from her pocket as she collected the box of cake and continued walking away.
"You'll easily find it. I made a painting of spiderman this time around" Jamie replied as her stomach grumbled lightly.
"Spiderverse?" Lily asked excitement in her voice.
"You bet" Jamie replied as she laughed.
"I won't be coming home soon. You should go home" Jamie added.
"Whatever. Where are you? I'm going to look for your graffiti. I haven't posted on my IG page for a while. Your graffiti always gets a lot of likes. The upside down one you made the last time had over four thousand likes" Lily said and Jamie chuckled.
"Oh really?" Jamie asked as she turned the corner in the street.
"C'mon, your graffitis even get more likes than my sexy pictures do" Lily replied and Jamie burst into laughter.
"I'm around Clifton Court" Jamie replied.
"Okay. Get home early, byeee" Lily said as she hung up the phone. Jamie chuckled as she dipped her phone back into her pockets.
She soon turned into a slightly desolate street. She skipped towards the ladder and climbed it swiftly before stopping near a window on the fourth floor. Pushing the window open, she jumped inside skillfully.
She dropped her bag in the darkness as she walked towards the switch in the darkness. She flipped the switch and the lights came on. She blinked her eyes rapidly in a bid to adjust her eyes to the lights in the room.
The room was more of a store room. Small and tidy. There was a bed at a corner of the room and a small TV and stereo player at other end of the room. On the walls of the room was filled with different graffitis giving a wild vibe to the room.
Jamie fell on the bed and removed her boots before removing her hood from her head. She had found the room when she came to graft around the area, the neighours had seen her and they chased her.
She had found a room window open and had flown inside. She had hidden herself there for over four hours. It was then she found out that it was an empty room.
Nobody lived there and that was why it was empty but the door was locked. With the help of Lily and Tracy, they had all turned the room to a cozy place.
At first they were scared in case thw owner came back but after a month and no signs of the owner, they finally started putting a few things in the room.
And after six months since they started using the room, the owner hadn't come back. Jamie liked to come there and just listen to music and sleep. She would sometimes draw in her drawing books and bring food to eat.
Among the three girls, she was the one who spent time there mostly. Not because she didn't like staying at home or something but just because. All her elder brother's were all studying outside the country and her parents were also busy working.
The house was mostly empty so Jamie preferred to spend her time at the small hideout as Tracy used to call it.
Jamie checked her phone for the time as she sighed. School was going to be resuming in a week's time which meant that she couldn't come to the small hideout often.
She had to cut down the time she spent playing around and prepare since it was her final year at high school. She was finally going to College.
She stared at the grafted walls and brought out her phone and took a picture. She opened her bag and brought out one of spray cans. Bending down to a side where the wall was bare, she started grafting.
She sat on the floor and admired the graffiti as soon as she was done. She had grafted 'FINAL YEAR' on the wall. She stretched her grabbed her phone as she took a snapshot and sent it to Lily.
She ran her hands through her long black hair as she stood up and walked towards the stereo before putting it on.
She unzipped her cardigan and threw it on the bed as Meghan Trainor 'Me Too' started blasting through the room. She started moving her body as she danced to the music.
Her hair flew north west, south east, west south as she danced. Allowing the music to flow through her body and fill her head, she whined her waist skillfully as she danced.
She didn't stop dancing even when the song changed to 'Sour Candy' by Lady Gaga and Blackpink. And even infact, she seemed to dance the more with renewed vigour and strength.
If anyone had seen her dancing at her moment, there was no way the person would still be able to retain his or her senses. Such a person was bound to have a cold shower that night.
