Chapter 5

Subtitle: first kiss.

Jared swooned towards Kylynn with a few easy strides and finally stood in front of her..his left hand in his pockets and his right hand holding the little sling back.

"Hi."

He muttered... The place was cold and the wind blows here and there Indicating another potential rainy day.

Kylynn couldn't blink, she was too fixated on staring at the man she could not reply to him.

He looked drop dead gorgeous as if he had jumped out of an action movie.

His face was evenly proportioned, it matched his tanned skin colour pretty well and his dark brown eyes glistened in the early morning chim.

His nose was nice and pointy and his jaw looked nicely chiseled.

He had broad shoulders and just like his legs his hands were also very long.

Kylynn's eyes shifted to his chest.

Though the t-shirt looks loose she could tell he has an Incredible body.

He took in a sharp deep breath.

"Sorry.... Hi. Thanks for returning my things, I really appreciate your kindness."

She finally found her tongue and collected her sling bag from him with a light forced smile.

Due to how tall he is and how tiny she is her head stopped right above his chest, in a cute way.

"It's okay.... Nice meeting you again."

Jared muttered with a lopsided smile and quietly ruffled his hair.

Kylynn felt the pressure around her hit hard and so she stepped back a bit, clutching to her little sling back like a baby.

"Thanks so much.... Have a nice day."

She said and turned sideways walking down the path that leads towards the bus stop in a nervous way.

Her steps looked forced and funny.

Jared could only chuckle slowly as he watched her walk down the pedestrian walkway. 'must be very nervous.'

He thought.

Although he could still smell the lingering scent of vanilla and lavender mixed with the smell of early morning dew he was beginning to miss her... He wanted to follow her around like a shadow and inhale her intoxicating scent all day long.

"Mate! I want my mate!"

His other self leaped from within him and his eyes shone golden.

He was trying to keep his overly excited wolf intact but it was not working.

He quietly walked into his car and then turned it on before driving down the same way Kylynn had taken.

'I didn't even ask for her name.'

He rebuked himself and looked out for her on the road as he drove down.

Thankfully she was still walking down the road.

He pulled up just a few feets in front of her and waited for her to walk up to him.

As she walked by he quickly rolled down the glass window and peaked his head out.

"Umm... Can I give you a ride?"

He asked.

Kylynn paused and ruffled her head, she looked ahead of her for a moment before nodding.

Jared was elated, he didn't expect her to agree to let him drive her to wherever she is going but he was still glad she was willing to go with him.

He quickly opened the car door and she stepped in quietly, still holding her sling back in the same awkward position.

Kylynn knew two different things had prompted her to get in the car with the strange guy.

First it was the fact that while she was walking down the road she could spot Javier who lives a few blocks away from her standing ahead of her with his car parked beside him. It was obvious he already saw her coming up so he was waiting to talk to her.

The second reason was because for a funny reason she missed the presence of the strange guy.

He looked and acted so mysterious that she didn't want to leave his presence.

He looked hot; she couldn't deny it and for a moment she wished she could run her hands on his broad shoulders, leading them down his abs.

She wished he would touch her, it was a strange urge and somehow she felt as if her body had been estranged under a spell just because of his presence..she eagerly recuse herself to keep cool and not embarrass herself in front of the drop dead gorgeous mystery guy.

She jumped in the car as soon as Jared opened the car door for her and the two of them hit the road, she spared Javier no glance at all as they sped by.

"So where are you going?"

He asked as he drove at a medium speed.

"I'm headed for class. I'll drop by the biggest catering Academy in the city."

She replied.

She found it cool that he was engaging in a conversation with her yet she was very nervous.

"Ohhh. You love to cook things up don't you?"

He was being cocky.

Kylynn chuckled.

"I'm Jared.. I didn't get your name."

He suddenly said,

"What do you need my name for a cool guy? Are you looking for a one night stand or something?"

She asked mockingly, hoping it won't upset the guy.

"Do I look like a bad boy that much?"

Jared laughed.

"Well any guy this tall, handsome, hot and drives a sports car would only need a one night stand from a girl like me. Last time I checked on someone similar he was banging a b-tch from my Academy."

Kylynn rolled her eyes as the annoying memories of the other day slipped back to her.

"Really? Who's he? Your boyfriend? He must be a fool... If I had you I won't look at any other woman for the rest of my life."

Jared shrugged.

"Well maybe it's because I'm the right one for you baby."

He added.

"Oh please...."

She laughed.

She found him really cute and hot at the same time and was loving how nice their conversation was flowing, as if they've known each other for years.

She felt the familiarity in his aura the moment she saw him.

She felt as if she's met him before, she just couldn't point out where exactly they've met but she knows it's probably a long time ago.

His red hair and brown eyes was something that strikes up deja vu in her.

She sighed as she watched him drive up to the gates of the catering Academy and parked.

"Thanks so much for bringing my bag back and also for the ride Jared, I appreciate it."

Kylynn muttered with a sincere smile.

She was going to step out of the car.

She tried reaching for the door handle and was going to unlock the door but Jared grabbed her by the wrist. She turned abruptly to face him and she could swear she saw a golden glint in Jared's eyes, just for a moment.

It was as if a golden light suddenly flashed his eyes for a second.

Both couldn't blink and couldn't talk as the two stared at each other.

The atmosphere in the car was suddenly hot and Kylynn could swear she felt her nipples itch for touch, she felt as if she wanted him to touch her in an intimate way but couldn't pinpoint why she was craving for him that way.

Jared closed the gap between them and kissed her.

Kylynn was shocked, her eyes widened as she stared at nowhere in particular. Not knowing how and when it happened.

For a while she was frozen and didn't move but Jared wasn't giving up.

He kissed and sucked on her lips like crazy even though she was not responding.

His hands cupped her tiny face and he gently rubbed her jaw as he kissed her.

Sending her to an escalating round of breathlessness.

Kylynn was getting out of breath. She finally tried gasping in his mouth but it only gave him more access to her mouth, his tongue slipped into her mouth and curled up beneath hers, trying to tangle them up.

Kylynn didn't know how and why but then when he finally cut off the kiss her hands were tugging on his shirt trying to drag him closer to her.

She quickly let go and bent her head to the ground in embarrassment, she didn't move.

Jared smiled at how cute her reaction was and was glad she felt the same spark he was feeling.

Her cheeks were as red as tomato and she couldn't look him in the eyes after the kiss.

He brought his lips closer to her face once more and she jerked as if she was trying to avoid getting kissed again.

Jared laughed.

"You and I belong together baby..... I'm back now and I'm taking what's mine. Tell the little boys to back off, you belong to the wolf."

He muttered to her ears.

Almost inaudibly but she could still hear him.

She was confused about what he meant but didn't ask any questions.

Then Jared leaned forward once more and opened the car door for her so she could go out.

Kylynn nervously stepped out of the car holding her little bag to her chest as if her heart was tugged into it, she turned slightly to look at him.

"The name's Kylynn."

She said, and before Jared could get a chance to give her a reply she dashed off.

He had successfully gotten her scent rubbed over him and in his car. 'This will last me till I can see you again Kylynn.'

He thought to himself. He found her name cute.
