Chapter 3 The Presentation

Today was my day off. I just stayed in my unit or most probably in my room, if you aren't informed, well I'm currently in a relationship with my bed. And I'm so thankful that it's not complicated.

I was checking some documents on my laptop because I will present these files the next day. I was the leading employee in Grayfaurd Crest that's why they chose me to present.

I am used to my work; this isn't new to me. But every time I'd remember what happened yesterday gives goosebumps all over my body.

Until now I can't stop thinking how bitch he was, how dare he do that. He disrespected me the second time around. I have no respect for him as my boss, I had probably punched his perverted face back then. But I'm not an attention seeker, bringing him in that kind of situation only mean that I am scorching an issue between us. It will be better if I'll just stay silent and keep myself cool. Even if, what he really did was so disrespectful. And I hate to admit that even if it's like that, a little part of me was happy. Just WTF!

While I was busy with my presentation, the phone beside me rang. I think it's a call.

I immediately grabbed it and answered.

"Hello? " I said but no one answered

"Hello? " I repeated

No one answered the second time I asked. These stupid people who loves trippings is really getting on my nerves.

"Hello?? I'm sorry. If you're just playing with me then dial other numbers. 'Cause I won't waste my time with someone that has mental disorders" I said directly.

I heard someone chucked on the phone. And I am really familiar with that voice.

"Sir?" I asked.

"Yes, Erza? I wanna talk to you right now, and to inform you I have no mental disorders 'cause I'm perfectly awesome *chuckled * I'll send you the address. By the way, you have such a sexy voice" he said.

I feel like my lower lip almost bleed because I'm biting it. The fuck is this guy. He really has that much confidence in himself huh? He didn't even say sorry from what he did to me yesterday! What a thick faced bastard.

As he said, he sent me the address of the place he wants us to talk. I immediately took a bath and composed myself. Maybe he wanted us to meet because he wanted to see my presentation earlier. Of course, he should, his company's future lies on this presentation I have in my hands.

I wore my unusual clothing, A red spaghetti midriff top and a white fitted pencil skirt. I didn't wore high heels, I grabbed my flat sandals instead.

I immediately went to the parking lot and get inside my car, I started the engine when I realized that the black with golden lace paper was on my car again, creeped me.

What the heck. How did he do that? My keys are with me, how come he opened my car?

I opened the letter and read what's inside.

Sweetie,

I feel stabbed whenever I see you ignoring my letter. I know I am just a stranger for you, but remember, I'm always watching and guarding you. Please don't let any male specie come closer to you, I swear, I can kill someone when I'm jealous.

I don't know what to react to his letter, either I'm going to get scared or feel safe because he's guarding me or what. Maybe he's just really not harmful.

I put the letter inside my bag. I also saw the two letters he gave me inside, now I collected three. When you're gonna smell my bag, you can smell the fragrance coming from the papers, I guess these are all expensive.

When I arrived in the French Restaurant Sir Astrair sent, I immediately asked the receptionist about the reservation. The receptionist guided me in one of their private rooms. I wonder how important our discussion that he really rented the private room for us.

When I got there, I saw him boredly looking at the empty wine glass while playing with the fork in his hands.

His eyes immediately met mine. The unfamiliar abnormality of my thumping heart began and I stopped a bit.

"What took you so long?" he asked as if it took me years to come.

"Sorry, just preparing for the presentation " I said politely. I wanted to roll my eyes on him but I hold myself. I don't want him to stab me with that fork if he get annoyed.

"I want us to talk. I don't need the presentation. " He said coldly.

Well I have no idea about it. I thought he wanted to talk with me because he wanted to see the presentation. I don't have any idea what we are going to talk though.

I stayed silent instead, I don't want to say anything coz as long as possible, I don't want to speak some ill things towards him. I sat in front of him, he's still looking at me intently. That's just so awkward!

"I want to apologize " He immediately said.

I am shocked a bit. Did he finally realize how bad it was? Did he finally realize that what he did is a form of sexual harassment? Oh well I don't know. I feel harrassed so maybe.

"Sir? " I pardoned to make everything clear.

"I apologize for what I did yesterday. " My heart began pounding again. I'm blushing too, I can't believe that my boss is repenting!

"It's fine, Sir. Just don't do it again, that's very perverted and I feel harrassed. " I said that made him frown.

What?

"What do you mean perverted? I was saying sorry because of the coffee incident, let's say I did it intentionally but I can't sleep thinking that it probably hurt you. Also, I can't stop thinking that it might ruin your sexy legs, I won't do it again, I promise."

I was stunned for a moment, processing what he just said.

What the fuck is wrong with this man?

He's fucking saying sorry because it might ruin my sexy legs? He's not going to say sorry about what he did yesterday?! He fucking watched me changing!

He's just so.. I can't believe this man. I just can't believe him.

I can feel that my blood is boiling from this on-going conversation. I took a deep breath and smiled at him slowly.

"It's okay, I'm not really hurt! Anyway, that apology meant for another incident, right?" I fucking sound ridiculous from what I am currently doing and saying. I really really want to choke this guy right now.

"What do you mean? " He asked innocently!

Fuck you Astrair Grayfaurd! How could you sound so innocent! Maybe I really should make a barrier between us because I will never let you bulshit me again!

I am so angry. I grabbed the spoon and just ate the food served on our table. I am harshly eating it while giving him fake smiles. Fuck you.

"Hey careful “He said slowly and softly. I just gave him a glare. A deadly glare.

He frowned, maybe he can't believe I just look at him like that. I withdraw my glares and gave him my sweetest fake smile.

He only raised his eyebrows and smirked. This dimwit! I'll die early because of him!

The days went fast, and today I am going to present something on the board with my team.

I am feeling nervous, and this is the first time. I am used to this, but it feels different today.

Is it because he's there? But he's always here in every presentation. Since those stupid incidents with him, I can really say that there are lots of changes.

I wore my usual clothing. Long sleeve polo shirt and black pencil cut skirt. My hair is also in a messy bun, I also put a light make up and a stiletto.

I went directly to the office. It's kinda new 'cause every time I'm in my car, I always receive the letter from Lacxous G. I am not yet used to it, because this letter thing started last month when Sir Astrair almost raped me inside his office.

What does he mean by this? Where will he see me?

When I'm inside the office, I immediately saw my team who are busy with the presentation as well.

"We have new board members, so I want everything perfect. " Clara said.

"The new board members are somewhat “perfectionists” that’s why we have to do our best." Enzo said giving emphasis with the word perfectionist.

I only nodded and prepared the laptop I will use inside the conference room.

"Lucy, prepare the projector." I said softly.

"Copy, Miss." She answered.

"Mira and Gadjin, did you prepare the graph for finance? " I asked. I need to think everything I don't want to shame GFC because of me.

"Yes, Miss." They both said.

Okay, the presentation will start at 9:00 am and it's just 8:16 am. So, I have enough time to check everything and to prepare myself. You can do this, Erza. You never failed anyone when it comes to this.

We're six in our team.

Clara is my partner when it comes to presentation. Then Enzo and Lucy are good at managing time and preparing for the possible needs and answering questions, but as I observed, it was more on my obligation because I was the one presenting it to the board. Then Mira and Gadjin are on finance. They are assigned in everything about the computation of finances. They were also in budgeting and anything when it comes to money. While I'm the head, I'm the one planning and presenting and giving them tasks.

When the time ticked on 8:45. We already set everything inside the conference hall. We set many hard copies on each member so they can review the products and furnitures we are planning to buy for our new buildings.

Sir Astrair together with a girl and Sir Gray came lastly. Tss. He didn't glance at me- oh well, why would he even glance at me though?

"Start," He commanded.

I gulped and closed my eyes before finally starting. The girl he's with sat beside him. I almost made face when I almost saw her glory because of her dress. It was too exposing. Why do I care in the first place?

I started scanning the presentation and look on the projector to speak and explain to them.

While talking, I can't help but notice Sir Astrair and the girl who are almost hugging while talking. Tss.

I just ignored their presence and explained more.

"So, these appliances are capable for the new projects that the company was planning to build. The appliances are bit expensive but I believe that if we push in this furniture, we can have an extravagant building and that would be the center of attraction in the area. "

Someone raised a hand. And it irritated me when it was the girl who's with Sir Astrair. The breezy one.

"Yes, as what I have seen in the hard copy, your appliances were kind of expensive. What about the money? Can we gain profit from it?? " She said and asked.

Some nodded from her statements. Sir Astrair was just staring at me while playing his lips with his hands.

"Well, the profit will be gained after the construction. The problem here Ma'am is on how are we going to build the new building by seeking people's attention. The more the expensive the appliances are, the extravagant the building is. And the more extravagant the buildings are built, the more people we can attract and that time we’ll gain our profit, and also it is written on the hard copy that our target costumers are wealthy- first class. I believe they can afford it."

Somebody clapped, I smiled because they agreed.

Mira and Gadjiel presented the graph and the meeting adjourned after that. The Breezy one was in the bad mood since because she looks so grumpy till the end of the meeting. While Sir Jellal was pouting, as if he's hiding a smile from his mouth.

Sir Gray approached me and shook hands with me.

"You never failed on making me amazed in every presentation of you, Miss Silence. " He said smiling.

I smiled back and accepted his hands.

"Thank you " I said smiling. We are still shooking our hands when someone grabbed mine.

"Go home, Gray! " Sir Astrair firmly said to Sir Gray, it sounded so offensive and I think he's angry?

Sir Gray smirked and nodded to his cousin.

"Julia! Let's go" Sir Gray said to the breezy girl.

Hmm. So, her name is Julia.

I finally glanced at Astrair who looks like he's going to eat someone.

"Stay away from him," He said and walked away from me irritatingly

What's his problem?
