Chapter 6

SAM POV.

I still can't believe that he is my brother. I don't know how to feel. I don't know if I will be happy or scared. I swallowed and lost my appetite for cake. I turned to my mother and saw how her energy returned as she played with Sofia's hair while they were talking.

I looked away. The weight in the chest. I really don't know what to feel. I forced myself to eat and join in their laughter. They told me how Sofia saw them. I saw how my mother returned to being happy here.

"why don't we try to hang out soon?" sofia said to me which surprised me. Mom looked at me and nodded as if she was saying that she would agree with me but it was against my heart. I didn't say a word. I don't know what to say. sofia smiles at me.

"I-I can't, I'm too busy." I just answered. I'm not really comfortable because I'm changing. Mom's smile disappeared as if she didn't like what I said. I was immediately nervous. Sofia nodded regretfully.

"next time then!" Sofia is sad. My mother swallowed and looked at me sharply. I looked away

"That's not busy, right hija? First go with your brother where are you going? It's just so you can bond first." mom said

I was even more surprised by what Mom said. I was even more speechless. I can't stand up and I can't shake it either. Sofia's smile grew slowly.

"yes hija, I agree ur mom." Dad was the one who said the reason for me to look at him with a big smile. I don't want dad. Kiel might get angry. I looked away.

"please sister?"

I turned to sofia who had puppy eyes while looking at me as if she was begging. I don't know what to feel. I turned to my mother who was giving me a bad look before I looked back at sofia who was smiling big.

I nodded slowly then smiled causing him to shout a loud "yes" before he stood up, came over and hugged me. I stiffened in my seat.

"Thank you, I'll pick you up at your house. I know where you live."

I can not talk. I wanted to appeal to him but he stood up and called a friend. I turned to my mother who had a big smile on my face. My heart ached without knowing why. I looked away and didn't know what to feel.

"Next week, Sam?" I nodded to sofia then forced a smile. I swallowed once and just drank water.

SAM POV.

sofia who is Kiel's ex girlfriend and my missing brother are one and the same. I still can not believe. I heard a big explosion. I can't help but ask why him? Of all the people to be my brother but why him? It's not that I don't like him but it's complicated. He is my brother and there is nothing I can do about it. She is my blood and I can't do anything about it and the only thing I can do is accept sofia.

I stayed at our mansion for one day. I tried to join in their laughter. I tried but I managed it. My mother is back to normal. Back then it was always sad because my brother was missing but here it is, it's back. It is smiling and laughing.

"Tomorrow, your daddy and I will take you for a walk wherever you want," Mom said while getting the food for Sofia. I watched it. I understood mom because she just wanted to make up for her lack as a mother. I looked away and just ate.

It's getting late and I had dinner here. I also called home and found out that Austen is home. I breathed a sigh of relief there. They kept laughing while I ate quietly.

I also left the mansion afterwards because I didn't like the way I felt. I don't like what I see. I left immediately after kissing dad and mom on the cheek.

"next week sam? Don't forget."

I nodded to Sofia's order before I left. I used up my car. I don't like how I feel. My chest is so heavy that I don't know why. I took a deep breath and tried to calm down because I was driving and it was bad.

I reached our house for a while and was safe. I got out of the car after parking my car in the garage. The light was still on so I was positive they were still awake. I picked up my sineto and felt a little tired.

I entered the house immediately, I went straight to the kitchen but I jumped when I saw Kiel sitting in a high chair who had just finished talking on the phone. He put his phone on my sink where the cup he made was.

"where have you been?" cold open to me. What was done to me earlier came back. It's pulling my hair. I looked away as my heart ached.

"only at mom's house." my answer is simple. I went to the fridge and got some water. I just want to sleep. I looked at it when it stood up.

"I'm glad that you find ur sister" he grinned and left me shocked.

SAM POV.

Kiel left me here while shocked and confused by this news. does he know Or maybe it's just my imagination. I don't know. I immediately finished drinking water and went upstairs. It's a miracle that he didn't bring a woman. I slowly opened the door of our room and the lights were off but the whole room was dimmed.

Kiel was already asleep when I looked at the bed. I change our bed sheets every day whenever he brings a girl here. I shrugged and went straight to the closet to get dressed. I only wore pajamas, I also only took a half bath. I came out of the closet and slowly went to the other side of the bed.

I smiled bitterly. We slept side by side but there was no movement. We are right next to each other but I feel like we are lau lau with each other. There is a pillow placed between us so that our skins do not meet. Also, in case Austen suddenly came in, we couldn't open the door.

I turned my back on Kiel. I kept my eyes open while thinking about my sister sofia. Until now I still don't know what I feel. I don't know what. I don't know if I will be happy or scared. I shook my head and closed my eyes. I just want to sleep but my eyes don't want to. My soul is still awake.

I can't believe that sofia is my sister who is my husband's ex girlfriend. I was even more confused about how we could deal with each other. My heart ached when I realized that Kiel still loved my brother. kiel still loves my sister sofia. A drop of tears fell and I caught it with my palm.

I turned my back to my husband and closed my eyes. I slept with that thought and woke up the next day because of the sun's rays hitting my face. I rubbed my eyes and before I could get up, the door opened and Manang exposed himself to me. I don't know what his reaction was.

"Samantha, Your mommy and daddy came with your sister, I didn't expect sofia to be the sister. It was surprising." manang opened up to me causing my sleepiness to disappear completely. I got up and looked at Manang in shock.

I immediately got up and I didn't bother to get dressed and I immediately left the room and went downstairs. I went straight to the kitchen and my parents, sofia, my son and kiel who were already in business attire showed up at me.

"Hey, good morning?" Mom immediately stood up and came close to kiss me on the cheek. sofia also followed.

"Did you know Kiel canceled the meeting just so we could eat together."

OHH?

Sofia returned to mom's side after saying that. I turned to Kiel who was staring at Sofia smiling. My heart sank and I looked away.
