Chapter 11: A Necessary Trial

Wilde Jewelry Group was the largest jewelry seller in Ubrilens, as well as one of the top ten jewelry groups in the country, with powerful capital.

No one knew who this old man was. He actually sent Leo an invitation over a gambling game.

Originally Sophia thought that Leo would immediately say yes, but after pondering for a little while, he actually replied, "I'll think about it."

After parting ways with the old man, Leo and Sophia went to a store that engaged in jade carving and handed the already-polished raw stone to the owner.

After hearing the owner's suggestion, Sophia planned to carve the raw stone into a toad as her father's birthday gift.

After making an appointment with the owner to pick it up at noon two days later, Leo and Sophia left.

Originally, Leo had planned to go to the hospital to treat Harry's father, but Sophia didn't want to go. She asked Leo to drive her to the company.

On the way to the company, Sophia said, "Leo, you've been hiding it far too well. Tell me the truth, when did you learn to gamble on stones?"

In a quaint coffeehouse on Antique Street.

"Coral, I want to introduce someone to you." The old man who had been helped by Leo was sitting in one of the rooms on the second floor and was on the phone with someone.

A sweet voice came from the other end of the phone, "Grandpa, I've already said that you don't need to worry about me finding a boyfriend."

"What are you thinking? It's not about that," an amused expression appeared on the old man's face as he said this.

"Then why are you introducing this guy to me?"

"I want you to recruit him to work for us as a jade appraiser."

"Grandpa, what kind of person is he? You seem to think highly of him," The woman on the other end of the phone was curious.

The old man then briefly told the story of how he met Leo.

After the woman heard the story, she said doubtfully, "Grandpa, I'm afraid that guy was just lucky. You can't say someone got talents just based on a single gambling game."

"Are you questioning my eyes for talents?" The old man was dissatisfied.

The woman on the other end of the phone hurriedly explained, "How dare I question you! Alright, tomorrow I'll have the personnel department notify him to come to the company for an interview. I'll personally interview him. Okay?"

"Okay. You can see if he's got the talent I said. If not, you can just casually arrange a position for him in the company, after all, that young man has saved me."

"Saved you?" the woman was a little nervous, "What happened?"
