Chapter Six

Dylan's POV

A sweet tantalizing smell suddenly hits my nostrils making my wolf awakened just before I heard a soft knock on my door, "come in" I growled and she slowly opened the door and peered in softly,the words "Mate,Mate" suddenly roared in my brain and I could feel the fur of my wolf on my skin, I was shocked at my sudden reaction to her as I tried to rein in the sudden forceful feelings, I had sworn off falling for anyone when I got rejected by Myla, I am the master of my own feelings and no one can ever make me fall in love, I shut off the chanting of Mate in my head as I gazed her her, feeling agitated, she twisted her hands nervous and refused to look me in the eyes, "you must bow whenever you see me" I growled at her trying to unleash my anger on her, she immediately did as I've ordered and I sneered, "now, get me my breakfast and be fast about it"

"Alright" she answered as she made to leave, in a flash, I had her pinned to the wall, "you'll answer, yes my Lord when I'm talking to you because I am your Lord" I watched her for a moment as her cheeks grew red, the scent of her hit my nostrils again and I could feel the claws of my wolf biting into her flesh, she whimpered and I quickly let go, she gagged and fell on the floor as I tried to rein in the sudden lust raging in me, perhaps, it's been too long since I mated, I stared at her in disgust, "get me my breakfast"

"Yes....my...Lord" she stuttered as she scurried to her feet and all but flee from the room, I took two deep breath to steady my nerves, she was by no means beautiful, only average, I had made a vow to myself years ago that I shall live only by myself and on my terms and that's exactly what I'm going to do.

Ariana's POV

I ran to the kitchen to get his breakfast, Greta quickly readied his meal for me to take, I wished she took longer time preparing it, in her eyes were look as pity as she handed over the tray of food, I dared not look at her in her eyes, I don't want to see such look of pity or I wouldn't be able to contain the tears, I took the tray from her with shaky hands and was about to leave but her hands on mine stopped me, "you'll be fine" I only nodded at her before walking away, she might just only want to console me with her words but I feel far from being fine,my heart pounded furiously as I approached his door and my legs threatened to give way, my palms folded as I knocked on the door before entering, he was no were to be seen and I heaved in relief, I simply placed his food on the table and turned to leave, "who said you can leave" I gasped at the sound of his voice and turned to see him emerged from where I could guess was the bathroom because he was putting on just a towel around his waist, his skin was well tanned and the color of bronze, the muscles on his chest stood out and dust of hair rested on his chest, this wasn't the first time I had noticed how tall he was, I quickly averted my gaze and shifted uncomfortably on my foot as he walked close to me, his breathe fanned my face, "I need a warm bath" my head snapped up at his words, "what?"

"It looks like you'll need a hearing aid"

"No...no....I..mean, I heard you the first time" I rushed to say snapping myself out from my daze.

"Good, now go and prepare it" I scurried from his presence and ran into his bathroom, I need to get it done very fast and leave, he entered when I'm not yet done, I was about checking which tap is for hot water and which is for cold water when I heard his voice behind me, "what the hell are you doing?" He boomed, I jumped at the sound of his voice, my palm unconsciously hitting the handle of a shower, "what the hell" he screamed as icy shower came raining down, I gasped at the cold feel of the water on my skin, it was damn cold and in a moment, I was soaked down to my panties, he quickly reached over and turned it off gazing at me angrily, "you just can't do anything right, can you" he said through clenched teeth, his eyes blazing taking on a glow I have never seen before, I gasped and took a step backwards and he quickly turned his back to me, "get out of here" he said quietly, I was confused, maybe I should apologise to him, I opened my mouth to do just that, "I..I"m..."

"I said get out" he bellowed and without another word, I ran out of his room.

I didn't stop running until I reached my room, what just happened? I asked myself over and over again, and what was the thing about his eye color, maybe, he's some sought of alien, I shivered at the possibility and shook my head, aliens only exist in movies not in real life, I shook the thought out of my head as I quickly changed and got into the bathroom, he just might ask me to slave for him at work.

Dylan's POV

I stood in the bathroom for a moment with my eyes closed, I knew she had seen the change in them earlier, I tried to calm myself down, I don't understand why I always feel like a volcano getting ready to explode when I'm with her, I could feel the restlessness in my wolf, "we just can't keep showing ourselves when we want you know" I whispered and I could practically hear it growl, "this is not our world, it is human world, we don't show up anytime we wished" I could feel that my wolf wasn't happy at my words and I chuckled, "stop being grumpy buddy, don't worry, tonight, I'll take you out and we'll go for a hunt" I could feel it now practically dancing in glee but still not too happy that i am rejectng our mate, but everyone was lucky enough to get mate twice in a lifetime but I certainly do not see it as being lucky because IIcertainly do not need any one in my life. It's been a while I let out my wolf, I've lived like humans since I ran away from my pack, I guess it's time to give my wolf a moment of freedom, right now, I could do anything for my wolf,well, anything except accepting a mate for him.
