Chapter 3: Special Section

Jawaheria's POV

We are on our way home and I've noticed since earlier that Ethel isn't really in a good mood today.

"Ethel? Is there any problem?" I asked while we are walking. Yes, we're only walking on our way home, we're in disguise remember? Disguise as nerds and nobody but brave, only that not heartless tho.

"Nothing, I'm just not feeling well and I feel something that I can explain what" she coldly said

'Why am I nervous with what she said?'

"What do you mean?" Hyllee asked

I don't know but it seems like those guys who accidentally bumped into Hyllee earlier are kind of familiar to me and I feel like they are one of the reasons why Ethel's mood change and even her expressions earlier changed. Also, their ambiance is different.

"Earlier since I stepped inside the university's gate I already felt something that I can't pin point what, seems like there's something weird inside the university and I think it's because of those new students. We need to be careful and don't ever trust each one of them, just in case"- I understand what she's saying, we need to be careful especially that we are pretending to be someone else because we don't know that maybe one of the students that we're running through everyday is one of our enemies.

Being a gangster is not an easy thing especially that we are in disguise but our group doesn't belong to those gangsters who are involved with mafias, Trio Señoritas is just a simple gang group we don't have any connections or access to the dark side of this underground stuffs.

"You know what? I also felt something strange with those new faces" - Hyllee said before poking me because I'm already spacing out while thinking.

Afterward, we're already in the kitchen preparing something to eat and still, Ethel's mood doesn't change a bit.

"Hey Ethel we're already outside the university, why are you still like that?" - Hyllee asked while eating. I'm also wondering about that thing tho, why is she still acting like this? I'm not used to it and I admit that I'm starting to get scared of her, I'm scared of this side of her.

"Just don't mind me," she said while looking at us

After eating, me and Hyllee are still confused about what is happening to Ehelene but we didn't bother to ask her again because we might end up pissing her and that's the last thing that we want to happen. We don't want to dig our own graves yet.

*The day after*

When I woke up I already take a bath and change my uniform before going downstairs that's when I saw Hyllee standing on the stairs while looking at the kitchen dumbfounded.

"Hey! If you're hungry go to the kitchen and eat. Don't just stand there with your mouth open because the food won't walk straight to your mouth to feed you" I jokingly said to her. I'm about to go to the kitchen but just like Hyllee, I've been dumbfounded by what I saw.

The great Ethelene Anarghya Regio is cooking? Preparing our breakfast? Believe it or not but this is the first time because for how many years that we've been together it's always Hyllee who's cooking for us because Ethel said she doesn't know how to cook, the reason why she NEVER cooks for us, at least once.

"It already came from your nosy mouth that the food won't go straight to it, let's go down,"- Hyllee said while laughing that's when I got back into my senses

"Good morning" Ethel gracefully greeted us, what is happening to this girl? Yesterday she's so cold, it seems like it's going to snow inside this house because of her coldness but now she's so jolly? Mood swing? Oh my God, she acts so weirdly, it's really hard to read this girl. Oh Lord God bring our old Ethel, this is creeping me out.

I unconsciously laugh at what I think

"I'm sorry for my attitude yesterday, let's eat? We're going to be late already" Ethel said after finishing what she prepare for us. I and Hyll obliged and look at each other right after we were seated but then we decided to just let Ethel do what she wants instead of asking again what's with her, it might disappoint her.

A few minutes ago

We're already entering the university's gate when we heard some girls who are shouting in amusement and talking flirty in the hallway.

"Black Plague is so hot!" - girl 1

"Yes, girl, especially King! Sh*t, he's so handsome" - girl 2

"Queen is also such a beauty! They look like Gods and Goddesses"- girl 3

"Argh I can't take this anymore" - girl 4

"I heard that not only Black Plague is back even the other high school gang groups of this university before are here too" - girl 5

"What happens? Why are they all coming back?" -girl 6

When I realize what they said, Black Plague? Why is it so familiar?

My eyes widen when it syncs into my mind. This is some kind of sh*t! What are they doing here? I look at Ethel and Hyll who are also looking intently at the group that these students are talking about.

We went directly to our classroom and didn't bother to waste more time. I hope those people has only the same group name with the group that whom I was thinking earlier.

"Good morning class" we stood up and greet our teacher too

"By the way! Before I'll forget to tell you, the Special Section is now open again because the top students and the powerful students here at Nemesis University are now back and as for Ms. Regio, Ms. Yrgos and Ms. Carson pack your things" - my forehead creased with what she said and why the hell do we need to pack our things? What's the connection of that to those new students?

"Why do we need to do that?" Hyllee confusingly asked

"The reason is that you are the current top 3 students of NU that made you belong to the special section and you need to transfer to that section since it's already open again" our teacher explained

That leaves the three of us with no choice but to pack our things and leave our classroom to transfer to that special section that our teacher is talking about. I suddenly feel nervous the moment we step inside our new classroom

"What are they doing here?" one of the girls inside the classroom asked. She's familiar to me.

"Because they are the current top 3 students of NU," our new adviser said

"Are they gangsters too?" one of the guys boringly asked

I froze at what he asked, so it means everyone inside this classroom is all gangsters? So why the hell did the university's head let us into this section? We're nerds tsk fine we're gangsters too but no one knows that, not even the university's head. Even those people that we can fight can't see our faces and it's impossible and hard for these students to know and understand that.

"No we're not" Ethel coldly said

This classroom's setup is different from the other room because it's made for different groups. After all, there are five tables in here not a separate single armchair for each student. The table in the center is square while the other tables on each corner are all circles which are good for exactly 7 people. I even notice that each group inside this classroom is consists of one girl and five guys except with the one in the center, the black plague because they have 2 girls, one of them is their so-called queen.

"They don't belong here, they are nerds," one of the girls said

"They are the current model and pride of this university the reason why the head can't kick them out even though they already sent a lot of students in the clinic several times for over 3 years and because you're the one having control of this university before the head wants you to be with them" - tsk does he have to mention the 'clinic' thingy? Tsk, why does he have to mention our bad deeds?

"Oh! So you're not like the other nerds huh?" - the girl at the back corner of the room said.

"Ethelene" Ethel simply said and raise her hand to introduce herself

"Hyllee" Hyll also simply introduced herself. What's with these two?

"Hey! Pardon my friends they are not just in a mood today, by the way, I am Jawaheria Carson the top three, this is Hyllee Yrgos the top two" I said while pointing at Hyll "and this is Ethelene Regio, obviously is the current top one student of NU" I said while pointing at Ethel.

They all nodded to us as a response and some of them are even smiling.

Seems like they're not that bad though, my best friends are just overreacting. After introducing ourselves I immediately grab Ethel and Hyll's hand so that we could already take a seat and the prof could start the discussion.
