Godly Child (1)

Looking to see an old man walk out. He had a stick to help him walk, she could see he was injured and weak. Getting up, she went over to help him as Bao Siyu did the same.

"Father, you should be resting. Your health isn't the best right now." Bao Siyu then said. She didn't think his father would be there. He looked to his son then to Huai Li Qi as she saw how he had no reaction to her eyes.

"Siyu, who is this girl?" He then asked. Having to help him sit down than to stress his body.

"Father, her name is Li Qi but she's also known as Huang Li Qi. She is a bandit group known as Huang." He told his father as he looked to her.

"I see. A Phoenix and Dragon bandit group. Both of you would make such a great pair." He said making her blush hearing that, mostly when it was as from Bao Siyu’s father. She held his palm to write on.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. Your son saved me. I'm a mute in this family so I cannot properly introduce myself." She wrote as he smiled looking to her.

"It doesn't matter if you are different. You are who you are. You cannot change what has happened in the past, but only change the future. You are like my very own daughter." He said such kind words making her start to cry. Huai Li Qi never knew her father that well, never given that kind of kindness while Bao Siyu rubbed her back.

"Li Qi, why are you crying?" Bao Siyu asked her.

“I wish that I had a father as yours." She wrote onto his palm reminding her of her mother. His father then started to rub her head with her crying more with just the father and son seeing her in tears. Crying herself to sleep she was in Bao Siyu's arms asleep.

"Siyu, take her to rest. From looking at her, she's never once had a father figure in her life. She's been through so much at such a young age. No father should ever abandon their child." His father said. Bao Siyu took her to rest, laying her on the bed she then held tightly onto his sleeve.

She was in tears, she was dreaming of her mother. Her mother with her everywhere and their time together. She couldn't believe her mother's life was taken so quick and in both lifetime she lost her mother either way. Bao Siyu saw her tears wiping her face. Soon enough he then heard, "Moth..." Looking to the girl who couldn't talk he stared down to her.

"You can talk." He said. He starting to wonder why she wouldn't talk. He then left approaching to her sisters as they saw him. "Does your sister talk at all?" He then asked them rushing to them out of breath.

"No, she never talks. Even when she tries to it only comes out as a croak. We've tried to help her talk once, but not a single word." Yu Suyin said to him as he looked to them. They were not telling a lie, he just oddly heard her speak. Walking back he then saw her sleeping soundly.

Huai Li Qi was resting but soon seeing her mother. Seeing her mother, she then ran to hug her mother, feeling nothing but warmth from her. Her mother smiled looking at her, she saw how her daughter had grown and matured. "Mother's little girl is no longer a little girl. Mother's little lotus will help those who call for help. Forget my grudges and forget yours. You've chosen a path meant for you. Help this world to be well equal and to see them help him. He is the one you are bound to be with." Hearing her mother, she didn't understand 'him'.

Looking to her mother, she didn't understand who she was talking about. Soon seeing a vision she then saw Bao Siyu. He was held captive as he was in a cell. She went over to see him covered in blood but she couldn't reach him. He was laying on his side, she wanted to go but she couldn't reach.

Soon enough she then got up panting and her face was sweaty and restless. ‘Was that what happened in the last lifetime?!’ She thought not knowing if it was his fate in the last life. Gasping now, she held her chest, it all felt too real to be fake. Wiping her face, she got up seeing all of her sisters sound asleep in her room. Getting out of the room, she found herself taking deep breaths as she didn't understand the dream.

Looking up to the dark sky, she saw the stars lightly glowing. Taking another breath she then sighed with her breath to be seen in the cold. "So you are the Older Sister of those girls?" She turned around to see Bao Siyu's father. He walked with a cane as she helped him to sit down on the wooden platform. "You are a kind girl. No wonder he doesn't mind you staying here." He told her, she looked to him confused.

"What do you mean?" She wrote onto his palm as he smiled to her.

"My son once had someone he loved but... she left him to be with a more higher status man. Ever since then he's never once wanted to love someone. He will only see them as his sisters and brothers, but for you. I see it differently." He told her. She didn't think that Bao Siyu would have someone he loved before her.

She nodded to his father as she looked to him. Her eyes looked down feeling hurt but she was going to wait for him. Feeling the urge to just be brother and sister seemed more compatible than to ruin his love experience again. Even if it was going to be a year or even ten years.

"Li Qi, do you know about the Godly Child?" He then asked her as she shook her head. "The Godly Child is known for one who has strength beyond human and to rid of those with greed in their hearts. They are not normal like humans that fear them. Only a Godly Child is born into a rich and noble family. Do you know what will happen if a servant or common man was born as the Godly Child?" He then asked her as she had no idea about it.
