Following Her

"Do you need a lift?" Junes asked stopping in front of Friya who was standing outside the office gate.

"I just stay nearby. It is just a five minutes walk. I can manage. Thank You Mr. Cleveward." Friya refused him instantly feeling confused again. She was wondering how did he notice her at the entrance. Was he following her? Her boyfriend used to follow her once like this and she fell in trap with the rich man. After that relationship, she has been sure that rich men are not loyal and not even fit to be acquitances. All of a sudden it is a Junes Cleveward Day for her. He is the last person she wants to see. Where is Mona again now? She disappeared during times of need.

Junes did not feel pleased with her refusal and his smile faded. He spoke coldly, "Alright then, suit yourself. Wish you a happy weekend."

"Have a lovely weekend Mr. Cleveward."

Junes tactically sits inside his car pretending to be indifferent. She moves away and continues to walk while Junes still wait at the entrance staring at the figure walking on the pavement. His driver interrupts his thoughts, "Shall we start?"

"Follow the lady in cream dress with curly hair. I want to know where she leaves."

"Are you sure Sir? You never followed a lady like this before. Has she done something to you?"

"You dared to ask me questions?"

"I am sorry. I will move once she crosses the pavement towards the other side of the road."

Friya had no idea that she was being watched. She heaved a sigh of relief as she approached the apartment gate. She opens the gate just to find her neighbours kids approaching her. She gives a bear hug to both the children and starts demanding for a kiss from both frowning at them when they acted that they don't want to kiss her. Junes from a distance sat in the car witnessing the whole scene. He had no idea that the cold Friya who has been rejecting her from time to time has a child like side. He has a broad grin and driver was staring at him in shock. He never saw him smiling this much throughout his thirteen years of service in Cleveward Group.

Friya gave them one kiss each and handed them two bars of chocolates each that she earlier bought for herself from the cafeteria. She felt it was worth giving the cuties those chocolates in return of the sweet kisses and hugs that the children gave her. She bid them goodbye and she walked into her block. Junes could only find out the apartment and block she lived in.

He would eventually find out he decided but for now this is enough information. Friya was clueless about him being keen on finding out her place of residence. She was too exhausted from all the troubles and encounters she had. She will complete a month in a week's time and she has already come to notice for unnecessary reasons. She takes a cold shower getting rid of all the stress today while Junes drives back to his villa.

Friya is determined to leave the job in six months down the lane. For this to happen, she must start working on it during this weekend. She knows she has to work really hard for it. After dinner, she sits down with a notebook, pen and her laptop. She was sleepy but she wanted to at least prepare the requirements of the business. She sat down with several online articles of business giants and some search engine pages and she eventually got busy. Her work towards being an entrepreneur finally started. Feeling satisfied with the data collection, she stretched her arms and decided to sleep. She lazily slipped into her bed and her eyes instantly closed without struggle.

Junes Cleveward on the other hand sat on his bed watching television. He could hardly concentrate after meeting Friya. This is the first time he has found someone who refused him at every point. He has never seen a girl this insensitive and cold. Her replies are also robotic even though she was nervous in my office. He wonders if she has struggled a lot in life that made her this way. The girl he saw in her apartment was warm but she is lifeless in office. She does not speak much but I could guess she does seeing her blabbering with the children. He turned to search for her name in social media sites but could not find a single account of her. He turned to search for her in Weebo but her last post was some three years ago.

He found her status that was updated a month ago and maybe he wondered she has all the privacy settings done. Reading her status, his left eyebrow was lifted, 'I stay away from humans.'

He wondered if people have harmed her a lot that she has become broken to the next extent that she is left with no more emotions. He seemed more interested to know her. He needs to catch her attention and it is going to be a tough job. He smiles at this thought and feels weird. She is a weird human statue.

'Very intersting' He says to himself and smiles like a fool. He is confused why is he even investigating her. She is just another woman in his office and the only difference is that she doesn't give a damn about him. Did he just find the girl of his taste who would marry him for two months? She is too cold to fall in love and too bossy to run after a man. She could be the one. With these thoughts, he decided to sleep. His smile from his face has not disappeared and he moved on the bed left to right until he found the most comfortable position to sleep. The best part being one leg under the blanket and the other being outside.
