Chapter 4

Sammy's POV

I set an alarm for 3 pm to wake Ev up and placed my phone down on the table next to me. Then I took my guitar out of the case and began strumming it.

I'm not sure why but I wanna wake Ev up in a funny way.

She said to not wake her in a rude way.

While I was strumming my guitar and humming my phone rang. It's Linda. I met her the last time I was in Australia while I was at the beach and she offered to show me around. I've kept in contact with her ever since.

*Text Message with Linda*

Linda:HEY MATRIX! Heard you're back!

Sammy: hahah yes I'm back are you coming to the show tonight?

Linda: Of course I am!

Sammy:Okay I'll let Jake know. If he forgets have him come get me.

Linda: Sounds like a plan!

Sammy:Hey I was wondering if you could show Evelyn around since it's her first time here. She's napping right now but we are here for 3 days.

Linda:YEAH! I'D BE HAPPY TO!

Sammy:Thank you!

Linda: No problem anything for you!

*End of Text Message*

The alarm on my phone went off. Time for Ev to wake up. I slowly opened the door that conjoins our rooms and I tip toed to the opposite side of the bed to set up the camera on my phone. I then climbed on the bed and start jumping up and down yelling

"WAKEY WAKEY! TIME TO RISE UP FROM YOUR SLUMBER!"

She then jumps up out of her sleep. She literally jumped on her feet.

"I SAID NOT TO WAKE ME UP LIKE THAT MATRIX!"

"Come on, Evelyn you gotta admit it was kinda funny."

"Yeah you're sorta right."

We both fell onto the bed laughing.

"I talked to one of my friends Linda. She said she'll give you a tour tomorrow.”

"Wait really?! I'm so excited!"

I love being around Evelyn. She makes me feel. Well normal. I can be a big dork around her. She's not one of those fans who are crazy and follows me everywhere. She's a normal girl,she's funny,smart,talented,and let's not forget beautiful her bright smile kills me. I think I'm starting to get feelings for her. She's perfect in every way.

Evelyn's POV

Sammy texted me saying that Linda was coming to my room in about 5 minutes to start my tour of Australia and I can't wait. I've never been out of the country before. There was a knock on the door so I opened it.

"Hi! You must be Evelyn! I'm Linda it's great to meet you!"

"Hi Linda! Lovely to meet you!"

"Shall we get going?"

"Yes!"

Sammy's POV

While Linda and Ev went on the tour I was planning a surprise for Ev. I wanna ask her to be my girlfriend. I know it's quick but I really like her. I really do. I want this to be perfect. It needs to be. I know I'm stressed about what the fans will think but that doesn't matter right now. That's a task for later.

Evelyn's POV

A few hours later my tour of Australia ended. As tired as I was I was sad it was time to go back to hotel. Linda and I said our goodbyes and I walked into my hotel room to see rose petals in the shape of a heart covering my bed,a table set for two with flowers as the centerpiece. Sammy came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my head I spun around to hug him back and he said he needed to talk to me.

"Should I be scared?"

"No hunny trust me."

He pulled out a chair for me to sit in and then pushed the chair back in. We held hands across the table and he was making circles with his thumb around my knuckles and then he asked

"Ev I was wondering if um uh. You'd be my girlfriend I know it's quick and we haven't know each other long but I really like you"

"Yes. Yes Sammy I'll be you're girlfriend!"

We both stood up and this time I didn't make the move. Sam grabbed my waist and pulled me in for a kiss and I put a hand on his chest and another on his cheek. And in that moment every worry faded and I finally realized I was never dreaming. I finally realized this is my reality and boy how I love it.

                           Sammy's POV

She said yes! She really did! I'm ecstatic I've got the girl of my dreams and I couldn't be happier. In that moment of us kissing my worries about the fans,about tour,and about everything left my mind. And for the first time in a while my mind was clear. I could only focus on my girl.

Evelyn's POV

Sammy and I have been together for a few weeks now and yep there's rumors about us already. Both of us agree we should make this official on social media. So that's what we did. We posted photos of us with the news.

"4 weeks have gone by since you asked me to be yours I love you!

4 weeks ago today I found the courage to ask you to be my girl I love you sweetie!

As soon as we post hit that "post" button I saw Sam's face go from stressed to his normal self. I knelt on the bed so I could wrap my arms around him and I tilt my my head down to kiss his cheek.

"You look relieved that they know now love."

"Evie I've been freaking out about it for weeks I'm scared they'll get jealous and start to hate you."

"Hey hun look at me. I signed up for this. If they hate me then that's their opinion."

Sammy smiled up at me and I bent my head down to kiss him. As tour got closer and closer to an end both us became more and more relaxed but then that day changed it. He had a month break and we went back and forth from Dallas and Florida to see our families. One night we were in Sam's house laying on his bed cuddling. He's twirling my hair and it's calming me down to the point I can sleep. I woke to him whispering to someone on the phone.

"can’t you take it down yet? i don't want her seeing this stuff. i don't need her upset. Okay fine i’ll do that. thank you Steve."

"Babe what's wrong?"

"Can I see your phone?"

"Yeah what's wrong? Sammy?"

He entered the passcode into my phone and went to my social media pages.

"People are being harsh towards  you I don't want you to see anything in turning off your comments and disabling your dms."

"Oh ok thank you babe." I yawned

“Can I go back to sleep now?"

"Yes sweetie. I'll be there in a moment"

"Okay I love you."

"I love you too."

We kissed and I walked back to the bedroom and fell back asleep.  

Sammy's POV

Hopefully that will die down soon.

I don't want her hurt.

If that ever happened I'd blame myself for everything.

I walked to my bed and saw her fast asleep.

She's so cute asleep.

I walked to the opposite side of my bed and laid down and put my arm on her waist and moved my other hand under the pillow underneath her head so I could play with her hair  till I finally passed out.

I love seeing her face before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning.

It's the best feeling ever.
