Chapter 3

Olivia racked her brain but seeing that there was no good idea that popped in her mind, she left her bedroom in frustration.

As she walked around the house, her eyes caught the servant cleaning by and they lit up.

Ah, why did she not think about it earlier? These servants should know Ethan better because they have been staying with him.

Olivia devised a plan in her mind. She was just going pretend that she was concerned about their master and wants to know more about him, thus learning a few things that he dislikes.

“Yo, are you busy?’ Olivia asked the servant in a good-natured voice.

“You have eyes but you cannot even see?” The servant mocked her. She did not like this woman that had popped out of nowhere and entered her master’s life.

Although they were told to show total respect, she could not help but disdain her.

Seeing that the servant’s attitude was no so welcoming, Olivia did not care. She was just wanted to know a few things about that damned man.

She would make sure that she infuriated him until he throws her out of his house. It would be great if he would do it personally.

“I can see that you are cleaning, but you are almost done. I am just here to ask a few thing about your master.” Olivia stated.

She wrung her hand nervously as if she was afraid the servant would reject her.

The servant looked at her and scoffed. Heh, she had only been here for a day but she was already asking about their master? Had she already fallen in love with him?

“What do you want to know?” the servant asked. She vowed that she was going to teach this bitch that had tainted their master a lesson.

Ethan was like a god in their hearts. Although he was handsome, he was not someone who liked to play outside. They were actually shocked when this woman was brought here. Maybe she was the one who seduced their master.

“Uhm, just simple things like what your master likes and what he dislikes. You know, I am new here and I don’t want to anything that will anger him.” Olivia explained.

Her face was so innocent that no one could tell that a lot of evil plots were now playing out in her mind.

“Our master is always composed. He never shows his emotions in front of anyone.” the servant said.

Olivia immediately revealed a disappointed expression. If even the servants did not know their master, who was she supposed to ask?

Seeing her disappointed looked, the servant felt disdain in her heart. She was right, this woman had fallen in love with their master.

“But…”

“Is there anything?”Olivia’s face lit up with delight.

“There are two things that our master hates, one, he hates the smell of cinnamon and two, he hates when people get physical with him.” the servant said.

Olivia’s eyes lit up. Ha ha, she was glad that she asked.

“Thank you, so much for the information.” she said to the servant and quickly left. She had to device her plan and make sure that by the time Ethan got home from work, everything would be perfectly done.

When evening came, Olivia rushed to the kitchen. Seeing that the servants were busy preparing dinner, she offered to do it herself.

“Y’all can leave. I will be cooking for your master today.” she commanded.

“Ma’am…” the servants were hesitant.

“Olivia, what are you doing?” Alice came over and asked.

“I offered to cook dinner tonight but the servants are not allowing me to. I just want to show my sincerity.” Olivia said in a pitiful voice.

Alice looked at the chefs and told them to leave the kitchen and allow Olivia do her things.

She did not know how deep her relationship with her master would run, but for now, they had to be polite to her.

After the chefs left, Olivia excitedly entered the kitchen. Seeing that all the ingredients had already been prepared and even there was a whole bottle of cinnamon in the cabinet, she was excited.

When Ethan came back from work, he was surprised to see Olivia donning a pink apron and arranging the table. The dining table was filled with lots of dishes and he wondered if she was the one who had made them.

When Olivia realized that Ethan was back, she flashed him a smile as she ushered him to the dining table.

“Perfect time. Just in time when I am done making dinner.” Olivia said. She especially emphasized the last part.

She wanted to make sure that Ethan heard it.

Ethan was momentarily stunned when he heard Olivia. It was only for a split second before he sat down on the dining table. Olivia passed him a warm towel to wipe his hands before she opened the lids covering the food.

When the smell of cinnamon wafted in Ethan’s nostril, his brows furrowed ever so slightly. Olivia, who had been looking at him was slightly excited.

Heh, she was just waiting for the man to flare up and chase her out of the house. But not only did Ethan not scold her, he immediately took a plate and started eating his dinner. He seemed to be enjoying his meal as he did not even lift his head.

Half way through, the man lifted his head and looked at Olivia. Her heart skipped a bit but she became excited. She thought that Ethan could no longer endure the smell of cinnamon in the food and was about to scold her.

“Don’t do this for me again next time.” the man said in a monotonous voice. Seeing that she might have touched the man’s nerve, Olivia decided to up her game.

‘Hah, let us see how long you will continue to pretend to like the food when in real sense you can’t wait to throw up.’

After hearing his words, Olivia nodded obediently. When she saw that Ethan had gone back to eating his meal, she stealthily moved her leg under the table until it reached his.

Then as if not knowing what was going on, she gently started to rub her leg against his as she held her head in her hands.

She started by doing it subtly but seeing that the man was not reacting, she started to rub it hard.

The moment her leg rubbed his, Ethan’s body tensed. He thought that it was an unintentional mistake so he put it at the back if his mind and continued with his meal.

But the woman was not stopping and she seemed to be doing it deliberately. His face tensed and the moment he ate his last spoon, he abruptly stood up, startling Olivia who had been building castle in the air.

Thinking that her plan had been perfect and the that Ethan could no longer tolerate her, Olivia looked up at the man with an excited expression.

Ethan did not say anything as he immediately scooped the woman in his arms. Olivia was stunned for a moment but she soon revealed an excited expression.

Well, he was going to personally throw her out his house and she could not ask for more. That was what she had been hopping for.

But to her horror, the man did not head towards the door. He headed towards the stairs while carrying her easily in his arms. In her moment of confusions, Olivia seemed to have seen the servant who had told her everything smiling at her smugly.

Before she could react to anything, a deep, sexy voice sounded in her ear, “woman, you messed with first!”
