Chapter 7

ANGELINA'S POV

I hear a knock on my room's door, it probably ruin my sleeping. I wake up while yawning and I open the door. "Brent, what you are doing here?" I mumble while scraping my eyes.

"Get ready immediately, we have a meeting to attend." He ordered.

"No, I don't want to go anywhere! You know I hate meetings!" I exclaimed while making my way to the bed again.

"Dad has ordered us to attend the meeting with him at our families company. He said it is important!" He stated, oh this must be about giving the company to Brent.

"Ok, I'm getting ready."

"Be quick.." he left from my room.

I immediately rush for a shower, I wear a long sleeve down button white shirt with a black pant. I put up my hair in a ponytail and I wear a black pair of high heels. I take my handbag and I rush downstairs. I meet everyone on the living room, I think everybody will be attending the meeting.

"Should we leave?" Dad asked, I just nodded my head.

"Angelina you are going with me in my car, mom and dad will come separately." Brent stated.

"Ok." I nodded while walking outside of the house. I get in Brent's car.

"Is everything ok with Blaze?" Brent ask while driving.

"Hmm, I have nothing to say about him."

"Any problem?"

"Just like that! What about you and Lea?"

"Everything's good." He said while looking infront of the road.

"Do you have any idea why dad has called us?"

"No I don't know." I turn my face to the window, dad is going to give the company to Clara's son, Brent!

Arriving at the company, Brent parked the car and we walk inside. We get in the elevator and we reach to the office. Dad was already here, I take a seat beside Brent.

"We will have a guest for this meeting." Dad said while reading the file on his hand.

"Who is coming?" I questioned with stitches brows.

"The most famous CEO!"

About whom is he talking? Someone open the door, "he is here." Dad said at the same time. I turn my head to see a man with broad shoulders with a classy suit. I immediately turn my head infront when I saw his face. "He is Blaze !" I whispered while placing my hand on my forehead.

Surprisingly he sat infront of me while facing me with a smirk. "Hello." He whispered with a smile.

"Thank you for coming Mr Guillermo." Dad said.

"My pleasure!" He exclaimed while looking at me.

"Children, do you have any idea why you are here today?" Dad ask us. I shook my head "no."

"I'm sure you must have something planned for us." Brent said.

"I have always do everything equal to both of you, but today what I am going to do might made you feel low." Dad said while meeting my gazes, I know what he is trying to say. I lifted my head to and found Clara staring me with a smirk on her lips.

I tried to ignore both dad and Clara but when I look infront of me I saw Blaze. I think I should leave from here!

"Dad! I think I should leave now, I have some works to complete."

"Listen to my decisions, before leaving."

I remain seated with my eyes glaring the table.

"I'm going to give over this company to Clara Doeven and Angelian Doeven."

What! Why me? Clara looks nervous after hearing dad's decision. I know she is not happy with this even I am not. I didn't wanted to give away this company to a stranger, especially Clara she might be my stepmother but she already showed me her real face! I'm glad until this company is still under the names of DOEVEN, I know nobody can harm this empire.

But I have made my decision, I will not work here! This place is not made for me, my club is enough.

"Dad." I said while raising my head with a little regret because I know, I am about to make a serious decision.

"Yes," he nodded his head with a smile.

"I know you've already made this decision, but I don't want to work here. I suggest you to give my place to Brent, I know he will handle this company better than me."

He look at me with a serious face, I know he can't say anything at this moment, if he denies my decision, Brent will feel bad and dad would never let this happen. He slowly nodded his head in acceptance.

"I don't know why you've made this decision, but fine!" He stated with a  regretful smirk, then he began to talk again. "So I'll handover this company to Brent Laurent and Clara Doeven." He finally said.

I stand up from my chair, I take my handbag and I rush outside quickly. Stepping outside of the conference room I saw a picture of my mom and dad.

Sorry mom, I know you wanted me to take over this company. But I will not be able to work with Clara, I'm glad till this company is still under Doeven's name. I am ready to sell this company but I will never work with Clara under the same roof.

While working toward the elevator someone stopped me, "what the hell you said inside?" Blaze shouted, I turn around to meet his gazes.

"I told you not to interfere in my family matter!"

"You've got an opportunity to show the world who you really are! And you gave it to someone else." He said in frustration, why he cares about my status?

"You know what! I'm not the girl who want to impress the world, I don't want to end up like you." I mutter while meeting his gazes, he looks frustrated, full of anger.

"When we met the first time, you said you wanted to be like me!" He exclaimed with a smirk.

"That time was different, I don't trust anyone, anymore!" I walk to the elevator and he followed me. We reach the ground floor, I was walking toward the parking area while he grabbed me by my waist.

"I told you that I didn't wanted to meet you again, then why you came here." I stated calmly because I lost all my energies to fight, I feel weak.

"I told you, we'll definitely meet again and here we are." He smirked, I know he will not stop chasing me so easily. I don't know what's his problem.

"Will you just leave me alone, I think I need some times alone."

"Ok, but before leaving I need to tell you something..keep an eye on your family!" He stated. How dare him to talk about my family again! What is his problem?
