Chapter 4

Thank you for coming early. Camile's mother said the moment she saw Sonia.

Yes aunt I came early so I can check if everything about the cake is Okay and also assist with some of the work.

Thanks but you don't need to worry about that because the decoration team will be here any moment from now and talking about them am sure they are the ones outside. Camile's mother said excuse me, let me go welcome them and by the way, Camile and Patricia are upstairs. 

Sonia walk to the kitchen to check if the cake was okay. When she got to the kitchen she was greeted by the presence of so many chefs from different parts of the country. She greeted them and went to the large fridge where she kept the cake and just as she had guessed the cake was beautifully placed inside the fridge and the light inside the fridge made it shine brightly. She closed the fridge and went out of the kitchen so she wouldn't be disturbed doing cooking and she walked upstairs to Camile when she got to Camille's room she overheard Her and Patricia arguing over what she could wear in the evening. 

She opens the door and the two people who were arguing turn and look at her.

Thank God you came Sonia because I know only you can find me a good dress to put on for tonight. Camile said 

Ahhhhh, you left Patricia who knows fashion and even has a fashion shop, and asks me to choose a dress to wear. You are not serious. Sonia said and sat on the bed.

Wehhhh Sonia, please help me out.

I can't because I am not good at fashion and you both know that. Sonia said

How can you ask her to choose a dress for you? Do you want her to tell you to put on black just as she chose a black gown yesterday at the supermarket among all the beautiful colors of the gowns found at the supermarket? Patricia asked

I love not just the design of the gown but the color which will make me look unique. Sonia defense her choice of gown

"Alright oh as you talk. Weti be my own for the gown and Mobi me dey wear the cloth". Patricia said 

Alright, why don't we do this? any dress I choose if you think is good let me know and same goes for Patricia's choice of dresses and then we come to a conclusion on one. What do you think? Camile asked Sonia and she nodded her head affirmatively they showed their type of gown but she didn't accept any.

Sonia, will you just choose one from what we are both having so we will be able to conclude fast? Camile said. It's been over an hour now and you still don't like anything we have shown you. Patricia said angrily.

It's because I don't like any of the dresses you are showing me 

Ohh really? You want her to put on your useless colors again right? Please even if you don't have money have a fashion taste. Patricia said angrily.

Patricia that's enough you are insulting her. Camile said. Sonia, why don't you try and choose your dress?

Sonia got down from the bed and walked to Camile's Closet and she took out a long forest green gown.

I think you should put on this gown because when you put on this gown it will make your color shine brightly and you will be unique with the gown. Yes I know I am not rich like both of you and I don't have a fashion sense like both of you but I do have my type of taste and I don't need people to appreciate me for it. Sonia said and hand the gown to Camile

Wow, Sonia thanks. I love the gown and I will put it on today and my makeup stylist will do our makeup. And don't you even refuse to make up because I won't accept it today? Camile said looking at Sonia

It was at 5 pm when the make-up stylist finished with both Sonia and Patricia's makeup and everyone in the room was shocked.

Wow Sonia you look good even though you choose a light makeover. Camille said 

Thanks for the compliment.

Since Patricia was the first person to apply the makeup she has already put on her dress. She was putting on a red straight party gown which ended up on her knee.

After Sonia's make-up was over she walked to the bathroom to put on her dress. She wore a black straight gown that ended below her knee and it was a long cut at the left side of the gown the cut goes up to her left tight showing her long legs and the hand of the gown was thin and the back of the black gown was naked showing her bare back. When she came out of the bathroom everyone was speechless because the gown fit beautifully on her body and her blue eyes made it look more attractive.

Wow, Sonia you look good it looks like you will take my limelight oh. Camile said jokingly. Ever since we were kids I know Sonia has some hidden talent among her especially when it comes to design or fashion taste but she will always hide it. That is why I will always ask her to help me choose whatever I need to wear even though Patricia knows Sonia's fashion tastes are always unique. That's why when she chose that black gown yesterday I didn't say anything and even when she chose my forest green gown.

We both know that there is no way I will take your limelight because you are always beautiful. Sonia said while Camile continued with her makeup.

Patricia, who was sitting on one of the couches, felt angry and disappointed. Ever since we were small I have always been known as the most beautiful girl after Camile and I have been second best since except for the mating party which made me the first to find her mate among the three of us and I was so happy and now this girl wants to come and take my place. I thought she doesn't have a fashion sense but I have been proven wrong. Maybe she has been hiding it from us. But it seems like I am the only person who doesn't know that Sonia has a fashion sense because the way Camile kept insisting that Sonia choose a dress made me feel like she knows that the girl is good at fashion. Patricia said to herself while sitting down on the couch.

Wow, Miss, I must say your makeup looks beautiful on you. Camile makeup stylist said to Camile after she was done with her makeup

Camile looked at her face in the mirror and smiled and she said thanks and then walked to the bathroom to change.

A few minutes later she stepped out of the bathroom and just like always she was breathtaking.

She wore a floor-level forest green gown which has three slim cuts under her breast part of the gown and just like Sonia's gown, the back of her has a two-line-like multiplication sign right down to her waist. The design of the gown was very beautiful and she wore a diamond chain and earrings making her look breathtaking. Her green eyes made her look more beautiful.

Wow, Miss, you look good and I must say the person who choose this gown for you to wear has great fashion sense because the stylist made sure you don't only look beautiful but unique because most girls of your age will rather put on dresses with blue, red, white, and other colors but will never think of this color you are putting on and same goes for the black gown your friend is wearing. So I must say you both will be unique people there. The stylist said 

Thanks so much, Aunt.

What are you girls still doing here? The guests are already here and they are all waiting to see the birthday girl and you girls are still here. Camile's mother asked the moment she stepped inside Camille's room but when she saw her daughter she was at a loss.

Camile, is that you? Her mother asked

Of course, Mom is me. Who else do you think will be standing here? 

Ohh my God, my daughter looks very beautiful.

You girls should come downstairs to guess what they are waiting for. And I must say you girls are looking great, especially Sonia. I never knew you were this beautiful. Camile said to Sonia and Patricia.

Thanks, Aunt. They both answered together.

Mom, we will be there soon. Camile said and her mother left her room.

A few minutes later they all step outside the room and walk downstairs.
