CHAPTER 4 : WHITE & BLACK

Alexander confidently walked towards Jace as he sat next to him while he faced him confusing his friends.

“I, Alexander Edward, reject you, Jace de Leon, as my mate,” he said with a slight smile as he crawled over where Daisy sat. He closed his eyes and laid his head on her lap, forgetting about his worries because he knew Keith and Crystal, as well as Daisy, Rei, Maya, Ruby, Aleena, and Zain, would still have his back.

“Thank you for knowing that having mates is a pain in the ass.” Keith rolled his eyes at Jace while Jace smirked and looked at him.

“Nah, having mates is the best thing in the world to me. All I have to do now is wait for my second mate.” Alexander gave a sad smile as he looked at Crystal, who nodded as she recalled the race they had planned.

“Forget about mates babe, I will introduce you to someone later but right now let’s race” Crystal laughed as she tackled Alexander for a hug.

“I am not that good” Alexander shyly smiled at Crystal who shrugged her shoulder as she said, “Nonsense I am sure you are”.

“Alex, you should go and transform first, then the girls can go, and then we can go,” Zain said, knowing that Alexander would be embarrassed if he transformed with the guys because his friend would be there.

“All right, but what about my clothes?” Alexander was puzzled because he had to strip before transforming.

“Just go inside the camp, take off your clothes, and keep them inside,” Daisy explained as Alexander hummed in agreement.

Alexander went inside the camp as he glanced at the net window shrugging since nothing could be seen.

Alexander stripped off his clothes and stretched while looking out the window at everyone going about their business until he caught Jace staring at him. As Jace saw Alexander's face turn bright red, which made him snicker.

“Why are you laughing?” Aleena questioned Jace who shrugged his shoulder while he rested his chin on his hand and stared at the camp where he could see Alexander till his neck.

Alexander sat down again, this time shyly, closing his dark purple eyes and allowing his body to change shape. The cracking sound of bones could be heard as Alexander opened his light purple eyes and looked at his white fur as he moved the camp, looking for assistance in opening the zip.

Keith unzipped the camp zip just as Alexander walked out, causing all of his friends to gasp. Jace's eyes widened as he looked at Alexander, whose fur was as white as snow, and whose paw was also white. His eyes shone like stars, and his wolf was the same size as a regular wolf because omega wolves are shorter compared to alpha wolves.

“Oh, you are so cute” Daisy giggled out as Aleena hummed as she spoke “Very cute”

“Sexy wolf” Crystal snickered which made Maya and Ruby laugh.

Alexander took a step forward, his gaze fixed on Jace. The wind whipped past Alexander's white fur as Jace continued to stare him in the eyes.

Keith looked at Alexander, curious as to what he was up to when Alexander took a turn and sat on his lap, wagging his tail and nuzzling his nose into Keith's chest, making Keith laugh.

Jace rolled his eyes as he clicked his tongue and ignored everyone as he pulled out his phone and began playing games, ignoring Alexander who was playing with Keith.

Ruby, Daisy, and Crystal were seen entering the tent by Alexander. He sat next to Keith, who rubbed under Alexander's ear and played with his fur.

“I've never seen white fur before. “It's pure white,” Zain said, his gaze fixed on Alexander, who was transformed into a wolf.

Rei ruffled Alexander's fur and said, "That's because our Alex is pure and innocent."

When Rei opened the tent zip, Alexander sat with his head on Keith's lap, while Ruby, Crystal, and Daisy walked out of the tent in their wolf form.

Ruby's wolf was ginger, Crystal's wolf was brown, and Daisy's wolf was light brown.

Alexander rose from his position and moved towards Crystal, nuzzling her wolf neck as she licked his nose affectionately. Daisy's wolf was the same height as Alexander's, Ruby's was slightly smaller, and Crystal's wolf was the largest of the four.

“Yay, it’s our turn to transform after that we can race” Keith spoke as he stood up stretching while he smirked.

“Let’s go Let’s go” Rei cheered as he stopped patting his mate’s head while he stood up jumping and getting warmed up.

“I would undoubtedly win.” Keith spoke as he gently bumped his fist on Rei's arm, and Rei bumped back on Keith's arm as he spoke, "Oh, it's on."

“What does the winner get?” Zain inquired, curious, as he looked at Jace, who didn't seem to mind as he entered the tent with the others, causing Keith to wonder what Zain was up to when Zain suddenly gestured at Jace while Keith and Rei smirked understandingly.

“Our baby Alex will go home with the winner,” Keith spoke up as Zain hummed, gesturing Keith that it was the best winning prize, and they both looked over at Jace, who seemed to be deep in thought.

“It has to be me,” says the narrator. Rei smirked as he stripped down to his underwear, much like his friends, and laid them neatly on the side with the rest of his clothing.

Jace was completely uninterested in the competition or the reward, which was to send Alexander back to his house. He didn't seem to mind, but he had promised to stay until the end. Jace was a man of his word, and he never let anyone down.

Keith was the first one to walk out, his wolf being black and white. Alexander and Crystal walked up to him as they nuzzled in his neck while he licked Crystal’s mouth and Alexander’s nose.

Rei was the next one to walk with Zain behind him. Rei’s wolf was grey with a hint of orange while Zain’s wolf was grey. They walked up to their mates as Jace walked out the last with no care. Jace wolf was pitch black while made Alexander take a step back a bit scared.

“Come on, all the racers lineup” Maya spoke as Keith, Alexander, Crystal, Rei, Jace, and Zain lined up.

“Daisy you are not going to race?” Aleena questioned as Daisy shook her head in her wolf form while she laid down and kept her head on Aleena’s lap while she played with Daisy’s fur.

“You know the usual spot. Go there touch it with your nose and come back to us and the winner gets to take Alexander home” Maya giggled out as Alexander ginned.

“Okay, READY” Aleena yelled as she sat excitedly.

“1” Maya yelled

“2” Aleena yelled

“3” Maya yelled

“GO” Maya and Aleena yelled in unison as their wolves’ friends who were in this race ran. Alexander had no clue where to go so he followed Keith and Crystal when he noticed all the wolves being extremely taller and strongly built compared to him.

Alexander's omega genes certainly didn't help. He was much slower than the others, which worried him because he didn't want to get lost. He tried everything he could to run faster, but no matter what he did, he was still a long way behind, which caused him to scream in fear as Jace abruptly came to a halt.

Jace returned to Alexander as he stood in front of him, frightening him. Alexander smiled as Jace nuzzled his nose into his cheek. When Jace let go of Alexander and took a step back, Jace quickly realized what he was doing.

With them in their wolf form, the mating bond was becoming stronger, making it difficult for Jace to retain control. Jace didn't like the fact that Alexander was his mate, but he couldn't stop himself from wanting him right now.

Jace softly moved Alexander as he ran alongside him, both running slowly and at the same pace.

Both wolves returned after a half-hour to see their friends in human form and had already changed. Jace growled as he locked his gaze on Alexander, who flinched and dashed over to Keith, hiding behind him.

Keith spoke as his eyes glowed and his fangs grew as he said, "Jace, don't take your rage out on Alex."

“You stopped and turned around. “None of us told you to do that,” Rei said angrily, trying to hide Alexander, who was trembling with terror.

“Don't worry, Alex, he's just being a big meanie because he lost,” Daisy said, hugging Alexander, who nuzzled her neck and made her laugh.

Jace growled as he went inside the tent to change. He closed his eyes as he turned into his human form while he quickly wore his clothes when he heard Crystal say “Maybe he is angry because he wanted to take Alexander home” which angered him a lot.

“I DON’T WANT TO TAKE SHORTY HOME NEITHER I WANTED TO HELP HIM BUT YOU ALL FORGOT ABOUT HIM” Jace suddenly yelled as Alexander sat down and started to whine.

“We may have known Alex was left behind, but you took action before us,” Rei rolled his eyes as Jace glared at him, and Crystal gently moved Alexander towards the tent.

“It's not our fault that you are like this because of your mating bond,” Ruby spoke as Alexander came out fully clothed and in his human form, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

“I hate the idea of having mates and being bonded to one person. I never wanted to take shorty home” Jace spoke as Alexander knew that his mate would say this because in the end both of them had rejected each other.

“You lost so your punishment is to take him home” Keith laughed as he closed the tent with Rei and Zain.

“Oh no, don't worry, I'll take a taxi,” Alexander spoke shyly as he rummaged through his bag for his dairy.

“No, Jace will drop you off at your house; it's the least he can do after rejecting you,” Crystal said, irritated at Jace for rejecting an omega who only wanted to be loved.

“I swear I'm capable of getting home on my own.” Please, Keith, I can go home alone,” Alexander pouted as he clutched Keith's shoulder, who cast a glance at Crystal before shaking her head.

“He'll drop you off at your place, little buddy.” “If not him, then one of us,” Keith said, well aware of the dangers of leaving an omega alone.

Alexander frowned as he looked at them all. He didn't want Rei to take him home because he wanted Rei to spend time with his mate. He didn't have a choice because he wanted Zain to be with his mate, including Maya and Keith.

Alexander's sad expression made Jace remember what Alexander was thinking, so Jace suddenly yelled "Ok," which perplexed Alexander.

Alexander had no clue why did Jace agree. Jace was dismissing Alexander one minute, staring at him when he was half-naked the next, nuzzling his nose in Alexander's neck while they were both in their wolf shape, and now Jace decided to drop Alexander home.

“Well, it’s decided. Jace will drop Alexander home” Rei smirked as he glanced at Daisy who giggled nodding her head.

They all packed their things as they walked out of the park while Jace walked towards his bike leaving Alexander with Keith. Alexander bid his goodbyes as he hugged them all one by one.

“Come on I got other matters to attend to” Jace huffed out annoyed as Crystal pulled Alexander in for a hug while Keith walked up to Jace.

“This is his address, and he is afraid of motorcycles, so please be cautious.” Please don't bully him because he rejected you and you rejected him,” Keith said softly, hoping his friend, who keeps his distance from everyone, would agree.

“All right, I won't” Jace sighed, rubbing his angry face against everything and everyone when Jace noticed Alexander walked up to them.

“Here you go, little buddy,” Keith said as he assisted Alexander into a seat behind Jace on the bike. Keith assisted Alexander in putting on the helmet while waving to them as Jace drove towards the main road.

“Do you want my address?” Alexander questioned as Jace stopped at the signal while Jace answered “No, Keith already gave it to me”

As the signal turned green, Jace drove quickly, causing tears to well up in Alexander's eyes, who was terrified. Alexander buried his face in Jace's back, clutching his shirt tightly in the hope that they would arrive home soon, as he was scared.

Jace parked his bike and took off his helmet when he noticed Alexander’s knuckles were white. He touched his knuckles to find it cold which now worried him as he turned a little and wrapped his arm around Alexander’s waist and suddenly turned his position by making him sit infront of him while Alexander faced Jace.

“Wait, what?!” Alexander shrieked, startled, his hand on Jace's shoulder, who raised an eyebrow at Alexander.

“Are you alright?” As he removed Alexander's helmet, Jace was perplexed when he noticed Alexander's puffy eyes, which indicated that he was crying.

“I... I am okay,” Alexander stuttered as Jace felt bad for speeding despite Keith's warning.

“Are you sure?” Jace inquired as Alexander hummed while speaking, "Thank... Thank you for dropping me off, and I hope I don't run into you again,” which made Jace sigh as he saw how wary Alexander was of him now.

“You are astute. That is what I was hoping as well,” Jace said, recalling how much he loves Richa and will always love her even though she ran away from him and married a human.

“Well, cool that our thinking match,” Alexander huffed as he got off the bike, while Jace kept an eye on him to make sure he didn't fall.

“Do you have any final requests?” Jace inquired as Alexander turned around, confusedly staring into Jace's eyes.

“Can you tell me what you're talking about?” Alexander was now perplexed, sighed, and hoped Jace would ask him to accept him.

“I am your mate, and now I can finally release you from your mating bond, so do you have any final requests?” Alexander swallowed hard, trying not to cry, as Jace responded.

“I never… I… I want…my first…I …” Alexander stuttered out trying to get the words out as he sighed while he continued “I…Just forget about it and drive back safely” which confused Jace a lot.

“Are you sure you don't want anything?” I promise I can give you anything.” Alexander sighed and shook his head as Jace smiled as he leaned a little more on the bike.

“You can’t give me the one thing I want so how come you promising you can give me anything?” Alexander inquired as Jace cleared his throat and stood up straight, unsure what to say because he knew Alexander was right.

“Well, whatever.” Jace shrugged as he put on his helmet and placed the other one infront of himself.

“Bye,” Alexander said as he smiled at Jace and clutched his shirt, wanting to cry but knowing he had to stay calm.

“Bye” Jace waved as Alexander took a deep breath to calm himself down when Jace drove away.

Alexander watched Jace drive away, tears started streaming down his face as he dashed to his home. He walked in, pushed the elevator button, and waited until he heard a ping, so he entered and pressed his floor button and waited yet again. After few seconds another ping was heard as he dashed to his apartment door and quickly unlocked it.

As Alexander walked in and locked the door, he quickly stripped and went into the bathroom, crying. The emotions were indescribable. Alexander's life had come to an end...

Alexander emerged from the restroom with puffy red cheeks and red eyes. He checked to make sure the curtains and even the window were closed while the air conditioner was on, so he turned off the lights and sat on the bed with the side lamp on.

The room seemed to him to be exceedingly large as he shook his head and opened his diary, where he began writing as he often did for Jace.

“Hi, Jace,

I had no idea I'd run into you at the park today, let alone that you'd be a childhood acquaintance of my friends. You're really attractive, and I had a feeling you'd be an alpha, so that's not surprising. Your wolf is absolutely stunning. The color black is one of my favorites. I never expected you to reject me after all these years of waiting, but I suppose we weren't meant to be. I hope your partner loves you as much as I do. You wanted to know what my last request from you is, right? My final wish is for you to accept me, love me, kiss me, and never let me go...but I understand that this is a lot to ask of a boy who has already rejected me. Okay, I love you, but my feelings for you will fade soon, and this fictitious Jace in my head may become my friend. I mean, who am I kidding? I'm on my own now. I'm not in the mood to write today, so I won't be able to articulate myself, so... take care. I don't have anyone…

Alexander Edward.”

As tears poured down Alexander's cheeks, he closed his diary. He hid his diary and pen under his pillow, wrapped himself in a blanket, and sobbed his heart out because he had no idea what he was feeling.

Everything had ended for him…

He was completely alone …He felt lonely…

He had no clue what to do…And who to ask help from…

Who was on his side and who was against him…? He had no idea what to do…Who to call…?

How to feel because everything had become empty…He had become empty…
