Chapter 9: Coconuts

Dahyun went over to Momo trying to help her.

Momo was still vomiting.

"Uhh... need some help?" Dahyun looked away.

She finally stopped.

"Just give me a minute."

Dahyun waited, she looked around her surroundings, she found a coconut tree.

'Hmm... maybe she wants a drink.' She thought to herslef.

She walked up to the tree, which was small but still needs to climb to get to it.

She gripped the tree between her hands and started to climb.

'Wow... I shouldn't make fun of Jihyo, it's really hard.' She struggled to climb.

Dahyun was at the top picking five coconuts from the tree, letting them fall to the ground.

She descended down the tree slowly, only slipping at the last few inches from the ground leaving small scratches on her arms and legs.

Luckily Jihyo was there to witness her fall.

"Heol, Dahyun did you climb that tree?"

Dahyun nodded and handed the other three coconuts to her.

"Give them to the other girls."

Jihyo nodded and walked away.

She went back to Momo who was just leaning her head against a tree, still looking sick.

"Here." Dahyun gave her the coconut.

"Thanks, but how do we open it?" Momo asked.

Dahyun looked around again, behind her she found a sturdy looking branch that could be useful.

She grabbed the coconut from Momo and hammered it against the branch.

Finally it opened, then gave it to Momo.

Momo was the first to drink, she offered Dahyun some, but refused.

"Thanks." Momo smiled, she felt better now.

"No problem."

"Here." Jihyo gave one of the coconuts to Jeongyeon and Nayeon.

"How do we open it?" Nayeon asked.

Jeongyeon found a large sharp stick.

"I'm gonna poke holes on the top." She said.

With all her force she punctured a hole in it.

Jeongyeon gave the coconut to Nayeon.

They both took turns into drinking it.

Nayeon leaned on Jeongyeon's shoulder.

"Do you think we'll ever get off this island?"

"Even if we don't, we'll have each other."

"Chaeyoung catch!" Jihyo threw the coconut badly, luckily Chaeyoung caught it still.

"Nice, I'm thirsty, how do we open it?" Mina asked.

Chaeyoung found a rock.

"Maybe this'll do."

She bashed the rock into the coconut causing it to leave a hole, but also causing Chaeyoung's finger to bleed.

She dropped the coconut.

"Are you okay?" More concerned about Chaeyoung.

"It's just a scratch." Chaeyoung said holding her finger in pain.

"Here." Mina used her shirt to soak up the bleeding.

Their eyes linked.

Tzuyu hit the coconut against a log.

"You opened it!" Sana pointed out.

Sana took the first drink, Tzuyu took the cloth off from Sana's leg.

"What are you doing?" Sana asked.

"I'm going to wash it in the water." Tzuyu replied.

She went to the water and rinsed the blood away, she came back and cleaned her leg where the wound was.

"Thanks." Sana blushed.

Tzuyu smiled back.

"Guys, let's gather around." Jihyo said.
