Running.
Simon POV.
"Boss, come on, Simon, take it easy on her," Lucas says and I glare at him, take it easy on her? She did the one thing that I don't take it easy, the one thing I'll never forgive, she tried to run away.
"Don't defend her, you know what she did, if it was anyone else, I would have killed them," I answer him.
"I know, but she's not anyone, she's your wife, and you're falling for her," Lucas says and I glare at him, he might be right, I'm falling for her, but she doesn't deserve to be fallen for, I can't fall in love with a traitor, one who'd walk out on me, she did it once and she'll do it again.
"Love is for the weak," I inform Lucas, he knows that, he knows what I think about love.
"But you love her, don't lie and say you don't," Lucas says starting to get on my nerves.
"Lucas, I don't do love, creatures like us, we're born without a heart," I tell my best friend and right hand.
"I get it you know, you were in love the last time and she cheated on you, you're worried about falling in love, and you got every right to," Lucas says and that was it, I got up, and I threw everything off my desk, he knows not to talk about her, she'd dead, may her soul rest in hell, but I don't take nicely to being called out for being cheated on, I don't need a reminder of what happened, I would never forget.
"I told you a million times not to mention her, you fucking jerk, you know how I feel about her!" I screamed and Lucas tries to calm me down.
"I'm sorry man, come on, let it go," Lucas says but he knew better than to ask me to let it go, I'll never let something like this go.
"Instead of coming over here and saying words like love! I want you to go find the rat in our ranks," I yell at Lucas, going into another rant over my work, and about the one who's stealing information and money from me, whoever it is, they are dead meat.
"Where are you going?" Lucas asks me wanting to follow me but I was too mad at him to even listen.
"Stay here, keep an eye on her," I yell at him, leaving the house still yelling, I'm going to go and find my rat, I'm going to kill them.
I drove like a crazy person to the club, I didn't bother parking, I own the club and I own all the parking spot in front of it, Sophia, the liar who's been acting like a saint all along is cheating on me, I walked inside my club aiming to start chaos, and get drunk.
Drinking would help, I never indulge, I never drink too much, I need to stay awake, I need to stay in control, and to stay alert. I drank a whole bottle, I threw a fit in my own club, I screamed, I yelled, and I even hit two of my customers, it's bad for the business, but it's good for my anger and my bad mood.
When I was done with my anger fit, I left the club drunk and having hard time walking straight, but I did that, a big cup of coffee had me waking up enough to drive all the way back home, I didn't even spend long in the club, I only threw a fit and then left, when I got home, I went to search for my wife, was she home? Or she did run away again?
"What are you two doing?"I say walking in and seeing her with Lucas, spending time together like it's nothing.
"We're playing boss," Lucas confesses right away.
"Come here Sophia," I order her, I need to make sure that she's still here, that she hasn't left me, but she shook her head no.
"I'm not going to repeat myself, Saint," I say in the same cold voice.
"Sophia, when I call you, you obey, you don't say no to me," I say walking toward her, dragging her up and taking her toward our room, maybe I should just lock her in our room where I'd be sure that she won't cheat or get away from me.
"Hey! Let me go," she screams, as I kept on walking throwing her on the bed, pinning her down there.
"I'm the one in charge here, don't try me, it'll never end well for you," I say into her ear, my anger getting the best of me.
That night was the final night we shared a conversation in, she stopped talking to me and I did the same, she was close to me the whole time, I locked her at our home, I kept her away. I thought I broke her, she's been alone, she's been isolated and now she came back to me like a good kitten wanting and needing my approval, she's a vampire she knew it's either me or the coven, when she decided to play nice again, I decided to take her out again, to give her a second chance, a thing I never do.
"I'm going to get a drink," that was her last sentence, she acted well this evening, she stayed during the meeting, she gave good ideas, she made it feel like she never tried to get away, I was falling in love with the saint, a weak girl, one that always obeys me.
"Go," I allowed her, going back to my meeting, everyone is jealous of the girl I got, they should be, she's mine.
"Lucas, go bring back my wife," I say not wanting her to stay long with AJ.
"Sure boss," Lucas says with a smile, I know he's glad Saint is out of the house, she had me in a better mood.
"Boss, she's not here, and neither is AJ..." Lucas says, and I didn't hear anything else, I was taken by my rage.
