Chapter 5 Lady Cunning

Gabriel Azure is a well built man in his 50's. 

Even in his old age, women can't still stop admiring his handsome face and well toned body. 

Gabriel is sitting on the chair like a lord. 

And sipping his coffee. 

"F-father." Chocoa looks at the man with a little trembling voice. 

She just got here and learned that this man who looks like an immortal is her long lost father. 

Gabriel's bluish eyes look straight at her. 

Though she is very scared, she is also very expectant. 

She is a poor girl. 

Living with her mother's sister when her mother died from giving birth to her. 

She hates poverty and wants to reach heaven. 

Now, she learned that her father is ultra rich. 

She is very happy and wishes to get his attention and love. 

"You should call me Mr. Azure outside the house. You are my daughter and the first one I take back." 

"The first?" 

"I have 5 daughters from different mothers and I don't have a son. Why do you think was my reason for taking you back?"

"Because...I am your daughter." 

Gabriel looks at Chocoa and frowns. 

"I will provide for you but you have to do everything I want you to do." 

"Yes father!" 

"Go back." He took the cup of coffee and sip it. 

He does not see it but he is sure what Chocoa looks like. 

She will look greedy and angry. 

Greedy for the money and riches she tasted for the first time and angry at the "sisters" who might actually steals her money. 

Gabriel looks afar. 

No one will know what this man thinks about. 

He looks eternal and solemn. 

Kara felt a chill. 

Whatever. 

She ended her session with a client. 

She is unofficially a language tutor. 

She increases her value a bit because of the demand. 

Of course, her mother should not know! 

Kara thinks it is about time for the eldest daughter, Chocoa ,to enter his house. 

That dumb girl who only cares about money and connections, Chocoa! 

She suppresses her laughter. 

Chocoa must be thinking about how to serve the old man. 

How she wishes she can see how he will ignore her efforts. 

But then again, she wishes more not to see them. 

She was 14 when she met her father in her past life. Then died at 34. 

20 years of her life is wasted like that. 

Kara has a day off today. 

Her mother forced her to leave the house. 

She was too lazy to go anywhere and she has no friends.

She is wasting her time in a fastfood chain ordering only a drink and fries. She plays with her phone wasting time. 

"Excuse me. Are you a local? Can you tell me how to go to La Gabrielle Restaurant?" 

Kara trembles slightly and looks up. 

She saw a foreigner woman. 

Her English is very awkward. 

A pretty woman in her summer dress and her pretty straw-like hats with an egg yellow lace and sunflower.

But she didn't tremble because of her or her accent. 

What is La Gabriele? 

That is one of the businesses of Gabriel Azure! Her Father! 

"Hello? Do you not understand me? La Gabriele? A restaurant, do you know how to get there?" 

Calm down. 

She breathes in and sighs. 

"I can draw you the way." She said after calming her nerves. 

The woman has a flash of amazement in her eyes looking at the small girl who calmly takes a pen in her bag and starts drawing a makeshift map. 

"Good! Very detailed!" 

The woman squinted her eyes and smiled at the girl. 

Kara nods. 

She doesn't dare stare at her directly. 

What is La Gabriele? 

It is only a font business by Gabriel Azure. 

Actually it is where the underworld big bosses gather.. 

The people who ate there are prominent and famous and then..... People from the Underground and black market. 

This woman looks harmless and kind but the kinder one looks, the more dangerous they really are. 

After nodding, Kara plays with her phone not bothering the Foreigner. 

She knows she is not leaving but she wont associate with people who might be from the Underworld. 

"Little Girl, you look very bored. Why don't you go with Big Sister and I will bring you with me to the restaurant to eat?" 

"No." 

"....." 

The woman sits down in front of her. 

Kara looks up and sees the smiling woman. She removes her stylish hat and Kara can see her stylish short hair that compliments her small face. 

She smiles sweetly at her. 

"Excuse me?" 

Kara shows impatient and aloofness. 

"Little Girl, La Gabriele is very famous and the food is very good. I have some before." 

I Know. 

I often ate there in my past life thinking so highly of myself. 

"Then you should hurry and go there." 

"......" 

The woman pouts. 

Kara will lower her head again to play with her phone but the woman picks one potato fry and eats it. 

She pouts but lets her. 

Then the woman takes another. 

And another. 

Dumbfounded, Kara looks at her with a face full of confusion. 

"I eat your food. You should go with me so I can pay you back." 

"It is fine. My mother told me sharing is a good thing. Eat as much as you want." 

Kara will not seek death. 

No way will she go to that place willingly in this lifetime. 

"....." 

The foreigner woman looks so helpless as she chews the last bite. 

Kara is beaming inside but she looks very calm at the outside. 

A tall man in a suit and glasses walks in and whispers something in the woman's ear. 

She sighs and takes the hat and wears it on her head. Carefully brushing her exposed hair into a fix. 

"Little One, Big Sister has something to do so I won't company you anymore." 

"Take care." She politely looks up. 

The woman smiles at her. 

"What is your name?" 

"Kara." 

Kara doesn't want to say but the woman's background looks like she is from the other side of the world. 

She doesn't want to face a consequence of lying to this type of person. 

The woman nods. 

"My name is Greta. I hope we can meet again." 

"If fate will allow us." 

Kara lukewarmly answered. 

"Yes. If fate allows." 

After the woman left she drank her drink that already lost it's original taste. 

"GRETA? GRETA RUSSO?!" 

Who is Greta Russo? 

In her past life, she can only hear her Father telling her, Greta's name. 

Her achievement in Italy as the next head of a Mafia Syndicate. 

How cunning and how charming she was.

She sighs.
