Chapter 12 I feel Like the Main Character in the wrong novel

"Kara, what are you doing so late?" Katherine look at Kara who is standing infront of a gelatin?

"I am cursing this cup of gelatin that who ever eats it should die!" Kara plainly answered.

Katherine smiles and hug Kara at the back.

"Is my little baby having a crush now?"

Kara felt goosebumps.

She shivers.

"Mom, you can joke but do not scare me!"

"Hehe. You cook it espicially for him. He must be very special."

"He is special. Like a man in a novel. Perfect as a man but full of poison." Kara sigh.

Katherine thinks Kara is love sick.

"You can do it! Just be strong."

Kara looks at Katherine and her heart wants to break with her encouragement.

"You should put it in the fridge then put sweetened milk on top."

There is a happy tone in the other side.

"But you will wake up if I call you all night!" There is still a happy tone that pisses her off.

"I can turn off the phone!" She tried but she is really pissed.

"If you dare." The happy tone disappeared making Kara remembers who is this crazy bastard.

He can act carefree and nonchalant but he is an underground illegal dealer.

"What do you want?" Kara ask sighing.

Her tone is a bit coaxing  little boy to not throw tantrum.

Xian felt a bit excited.

And he is smiling again.

"I just want to say good night."

"Are you crazy?"

"I said good night to you too."

"I see. See you tomorrow."

"Sir Flavio, you should drop the call now."

"I want to hear your voice more. Talk."

"Hmmm.. how to make gelatin."

Then she stops immediately.

Kara slump on the bed when the call ended for real.

She feels very very tired.

That is a damned bastard after all!

"You look so happy." Oliver went to retrived the cellphone in Xian's hand.

Xian is wearing a red robe and drinking wine while looking at the lights of the city at night.

He enjoys standing on top and looking down at people,literally!

"I never spoke this long in the phone." Xian excitedly said.

"Yes. This is the first and you initiates the call."

Oliver confirms.

"Hehe." Xian stands up and walk to the bed.

"Are you going to sleep? Should I bring your sleeping pill?"

"I think I can sleep well tonight. You can go."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

Xian thinks he can sleep well but he is so excited for tomorrow that he cant even close his eyes.

Oliver stands up and received the call.

"Yes?"

"On the second thought, bring me my sleeping pill."

"Okay."

"Today, you will not get pass by us!" The girl round up and encircle Kara.

Kara can fight them into a pulp but that is only if she wants to expose herself.

Xian is in this school.

Prior to this, she has no special training so it will be strange if she can fight this girls vicious attacks.

She wants to cursed Xian so much.

But the most unreasonable part is....she still has to deliver the gelatin to Xian no matter what.

Because Xian requested it personally.

A man who does not eat anything unless his secretary prepares it, wants to eat something she cooked, if she fails to deliver, will he kills her?

She is not stupid to test it out.

"Please let me through. I need to give this to Sir Flavio." She said.

But to her surprise the girl near her said 'kacha' and chop the tupperware.

It roll to the ground and the poor gelatin with sweetened milk is all over the ground.

Fuck.

I made that gelatin!

It is very sweet and my mother approved of the taste!

Kara glared.

The girls didnt put her to their eyes and pushes her around.

She is about to retaliate but a cold bucket of water pours up her head.

She trembles and hug her wet body.

The girls all laugh at her sorry figure.

"Now you wont dare!" The girl left stomping at the gelatin.

Kara stare at them with cold gaze.

She smiles wickedly.

'You really am stupid. Who do you think owns that gelatin? I didnt protect it because I want to give it to that bastard so badly. I am just preserving my life. I wont be seeing you again girls. Hope you die faster and wont get hurt that much.'

Kara walks away hugging herself.

Why does she feels like she is some sort of heroine in a shoujo manga?

Gang up by a jealous ladies?

But the main character is a demon who doesnt care if he kills underage girls as long as he is displeased.

Sigh.
