Chapter 6

Benjamin looked taken aback by my blunt question.

"I take that as a no?"

He didn't answer and I snickered.

"Have you ever kissed a girl?" I didn't know why I was asking this, but oh well, fuck it.

"No..." He admitted and I had to stop another laugh from escaping.

"Huh" I crossed my arms and stared at him.

"Really?" I then asked in disbelief and he glared at me and then shook his head.

"Oh well, how do you solve this then?" I changed the subject and he seemed relieved.

17 years old and had never even kissed a girl, what in the world.

Ten minutes later I finally got it and was pretty sure I would; at least not fail the test.

"Miss, dinner is ready" My favorite maid Monica announced, she was the one who'd been here the longest and she was basically a friend.

"Do you want to stay for some dinner?" I asked Benjamin and he looked nervous once again.

"My parents are never home anyways"

He seemed to think about it but finally nodded.

I grinned and gestured for him to follow me.

I ran down the stairs and sniffed in the air to guess what we were getting.

It smelled like salmon and lemon.

When we got into the dining room, I could see that it was, just as I had though, salmon with lemon sauce and pasta.

I licked my lips as I sat down and looked down at the food with awe.

"Eat" I told him and he didn't hesitate to pick up his cutlery and take a big fork of pasta.

His eyes rolled back in pleasure and I laughed.

"You just had a foodgasm" I stated and he furrowed his brow confusedly.

"Basically a small orgasm you get of good food" I explained and he wrinkled his nose.

I then started to eat and my tastebuds weren't complaining.

We didn't say that much, we were both concentrated on our food.

When I finished eating I looked up at Benjamin, he was still munching on his food and when he noticed me staring, his cheeks turned red and he quickly swallowed down his food.

When he looked up again our eyes locked and I couldn't help but be jealous of his eye color.

I had the most basic color ever, why couldn't I have green eyes?

"I like your eyes" He mumbled and I realized that I had said it out loud.

An odd warm feeling filled my body and I felt my cheeks heat up.

WHAT WAS HAPPENING?

"Thanks..." I was at a loss of words. Why did I feel like this?

Was I... Blushing?

I quickly shrugged it off and covered it up with a nonchalant smirk.

"Are you done?" I then asked, pointing towards his almost empty plate.

"Sure" He hesitantly answered and I rolled my eyes in irritation.

"Finish your food if you want to" I laughed and he embarrassedly looked down at his food.

"Okay" He scooped up the last piece of food and quietly chewed before swallowing and standing up.

"Do I take these away or...?" He was referring to the plates and I waved him off.

"The maids will take care of this, don't worry about it" I assured him. He almost looked guilty and it reminded me of myself a few years ago.

"Well let's go upstairs and decide what to do with our presentation" I suggested and he showed me an awkward thumbs up, before following me.

I ran up the stairs, taking two steps a time.

I then walked down the corridor and opened the door to my room.

I renovated it earlier this year, so I loved it.

It was in dark colors with rustic furniture and bronze details all over, very cozy but at the same time, stylish.

I walked over to my desk and grabbed my notebook.

"Okay the introduction is done and we've found a few good sources to use. We should decide on a few main headlines and then we can choose a few each..." I started, half an hour later we were done and knew exactly what to do until the next time we would meet.

"So, the library tomorrow after the maths test" I asked just in case and he confirmed by nodding.

"Okay perfect" I followed him downstairs and I laughed at his expense when he struggled to put on his shoes and ended up falling on his butt.

"Smooth" I sarcastically complimented him and he glared at me while his cheeks slowly turned red.

"Byeeee!" I yelled when he exited the house and started to walk away.

Seeing as his house only was a two minute walk away from here, I didn't bother to offer him a ride.

I watched as his tall figure became smaller and more distant before I quickly slammed the door shut after realizing what a creep I was.
