CHAPTER 4

The Crawley Corporation, the most prosperous company in the city and one of the most prosperous companies in the nation, has just named Grey Crawley as its new chief executive officer.

He ultimately received the promotion to the role of CEO at the firm at the age of thirty- two years.

He attended his business partner Sage's wedding with his family, but he was still focused on his job.

Accidentally, one of the barman serving drinks to the guests passed by Grey and lost his balance hence the cups of champagne was spilled all over him. The clashing of broken cups drew the attention of everyone and all gaze were on Grey.

"Oops am so sorry sir, it was a terrible mistake. Please forgive me, I lost my balance that's all.." The barman told him with a remorseful expression.

"Sure, no problem you can just continue with what you're doing. I'll quickly just change my shirt."

With a sigh, the barman nodded and walked away.

Everyone looked away from the scene and continued with what they were doing.

Grey was anticipating that his assistant, Leonard wood would bring some papers for him to sign and had been waiting for them. He turned to his parents and said, "I need to change, and I might as well see Leonard at the lobby." He then looked up at them.

If he were to go out to the lobby wearing nothing but his white shirt, he could very well be mistaken for a member of the hotel staff.

He found his assistant, and upon approaching the bar, he saw that the documents had already been placed on the countertop there.

"I hope you are well tonight, Mr. Crawley. I am sorry, but I ran late. Leonard, who was working as his assistant, said, "Here are the documents after they've been amended."

Both of the men continued to stand there by the bar. After giving the documents a cursory look over and confirming that the necessary changes had been made, Grey then signed them and gave them to his assistant.

"I don't want us to make the same mistake twice, Leonard...." Grey placed his hands on his waist as a reminder and said, "I depend on you to review these documents again and again before it lands on my desk."

Even though he was still dressed for work, Leonard took a deep breath and forced it down his throat. He couldn't believe his good fortune when his boss decided to give him another shot.

When Grey was just about to walk up to entrance of the hotel, he heard a woman's voice in the distance saying, "Hi baby!"

When he turned around, he saw a girl, the girl appeared to be happy to see him. She seemed to be pleased by the sight of him.

Almost immediately, Grey observed that she was pretty. Her cheeks were flushed, and she smiled broadly and twinkled her eyes, all of which were directed specifically at him.

"I need your help. Please assist me in this matter.

His thoughts prompted him to raise an objection; he should drive her away! But he couldn't take his eyes off of her cute little face and her full, pouty lips.

The young woman immediately planted a passionate kiss on her boyfriend without even waiting for a response from him.

After experiencing the softness of the woman's rim, he noticed that his heart was beating faster!

Everything around him seemed to go silent, with the exception of the thumping sensation that he was experiencing in his chest.

He inhaled deeply as he focused on savoring the blossoming aroma that was emanating from the girl.

His eyes closed on their own without his knowledge as he found himself savoring the fleeting but stirring kiss!

As soon as the kiss was over, Grey had trouble opening his eyes. When he did, he noticed that his surroundings had become hazy, and the only thing that was clear was the stunning face of the woman.

Grey was taken aback to the point of complete confusion. Unexpectedly, he felt a swelling beneath his pants, the likes of which he had not encountered since he was in his teens!

Grey was unable to make sense of the strange and overwhelming desire that he had just satisfied, so he did not move while the girl walked away from him.

Leonard, who was working as his assistant at the time, kept his hand over his mouth the entire time. He stared at Grey in disbelief after the woman had left the room.

Leonard Wood had been employed by Grey for more than four years at the time, and during that period he had finally witnessed his employer turn tame among women. His eyes were wide open in shock as he slowly confessed, "Mr. Crawley... You...you...kissed a girl.

Grey made the decision to ignore what he had to say. He could see for himself what was going on when he turned to look at his lower body. He realized at once that he had not genuinely experienced what it was like to acquire a boner in as long as he could remember.

Karen , meanwhile, immediately jumped in her car after leaving the engagement celebration and headed to Zenith hotel and bar.

Zenith Hotel and Bar was one of the most popular hotel here in the city not just for it's excellent dish prepared by the chiefs overseer, but also for it's unique styles and designs.

She needed to properly celebrate her success after feeling proud of what she accomplished

Immediately arriving at the famous Zenith hotel and bar, there were loud music playing in the background. People of all walks of life were at the dance hall, dancing and enjoying their selves. Without minding any of them, Karen just went to an empty seat and sat down.

She made a call to Emma, her other friend, after ordering a champagne from the bar man.

"I'm in the Zenith Hotel and bar. Can you come over?" Karen asked her friend Emma immediately the latter picked the call.

Once Emna answered, "Sure," the phone was cut off.

Karen quickly noticed her blonde friend walking inside the pub. She signaled Emma's presence by waving her hand. Emma arrived and joined her where she sat.

"Hey Karen, how's it going?"

"I did it just as I had promised. I bragged to everyone about how reprehensible Ava was and how she had stolen my Sage. The entire scene had to be seen; it was hilarious." Karen remarked as they both started to giggle.

"I put my trust in you, girl. Let's party." Emma stated.

"No doubt. Salute to retaliation!"

"Cheers!" The two women drank champagne after topping it off.

After the first bottles of champagne were finished by both ladies, another bottles were ordered.

"That's serves that bitch and scumbag for breaking your heart, may their lives be filled with unhappiness.." Emma said as she drank more from her bottle of champagne.

"Definitely. Thank God I didn't end up marrying Sage, unless my life would have been a mess." Karen lamented as she smiled in cheerfulness.

"Thank goodness!" Emma concluded.

By the time they had drank like the third bottles of champagne each, Karen paid for the drink and both ladies while holding hands like two jolly friends walked out staggering.

Although they wasn't good at alcohol, today was no exception for them to drink away their pain. Morevever what could you expect from a winner if not celebration?

While waiting for cab to take them home, Emma's phone rang, it was her boyfriend Kendrick.

Kendrick was her boyfriend of two years and both were a match for each others.

"Babe are you drunk ?" The anxious Kendrick ask curiously. ",Where are you?"

" Am at Zenith Hotel and bar with Karen, quickly come and pick us up.." Kelly told him. Without giving him a chance to respond she ended the call.

Since Kendrick was a driver in the city, it was not hard for him to pick them. So after dropping his passenger at her destination, he drove straight to the Zenith Hotel and bar.

When he got there, both ladies were acting funny. So he quickly placed Emma into his car, but when he wanted to help Karen at the back seat of his car he was stopped by her.

"Don't worry about me, I can manage on my own Kendrick. Just take Kelly home."

Karen promptly declined Kendrick's invitation to accompany her to his house, where he was taking Emma.

"But, you're a drunk Karen; how will you survive on your own. Why don't you spend the night at my house, you can depart the following day?" Kendrick asked her.

Given that Emma had become fond of Karen over the past several days, he made an effort to be as kind to her as he could.

"Kendrick, don't worry about me; I can take care of myself. Just take Emma home. Bye.."

Karen fled before Kendrick could say anything more. Kelly was now beginning to vomit, so he sped off in his car.

Although she had carried out her revenge on Sage for what he did to her, but she was really alone now. Being single and, worse yet, still a virgin at this age made her feel incredibly depressed.

She wiped away her tears as they fell from her eyes. She was certain that this was the last time she would shed a tear over a man.

For once, she was going to have fun without worrying.

Maybe drinking too much of alcohol was the cause, Karen had just taken a few feet when she abruptly fell and stumbled into a man's arms

The air was thick with a mint scent, a little cold.

She was in a daze as she glanced up at the

attractive face with a neutral expression, and uncaring eyes. The man was handsome no doubts but due to the effect of the alcoholic drink she could not clearly see his real appearance.

The man helped her to stand in her feet and made to leave, but she suddenly grabbed him from the collar of his shirt.

“How about sleeping with me tonight?" She smiled and asked him.

"Are you sure? The man's voice was extremely lovely, deep and pleasant.

Karen cocked her head provocatively and whispered, "Of course, why not. Prove to me that you're a man."

Grey immediately felt amused, "Sure..."

Grey Crawley changed after the strange woman kissed him at the engagement party. So he swiftly modified his clothing. The engagement celebration was almost ended by this point, and he excused himself because he was already exhausted.

He had a routine of simply going to a nice bar to unwind after work. He made the decision to go to the Moet bar to unwind and rest since his mind was so occupied with what had transpired and how the mysterious woman had kissed him while he was driving.

So he walked straight to the Zenith Hotel and bar, ordered his usual bottle of alcoholic champagne, and started drinking.

"How was I supposed to accept that woman's kiss? What a sleazebag!" He said to himself.

He had consumed six bottles of the alcoholic champagne as a result of his rage and enthusiasm. He even placed an order for a seventh bottle and kept drinking.

He paid the bartender with his car and stumbled out as the effects of the booze began to take effect.

To call Leonard Wood his secretary, he got his phone from his trouser pocket, but there was no network.

" Damn! In his rage, he caused.

Just as he turned to move to another location to use his phone to look for a network, a woman abruptly staggered and bumped into his arms.

The air was thick with a mint scent, a little cold.

He bowed his head proudly while his eyes shrank to the size of a crescent moon.

Also, he smelled alcohol emanating from her and realized she was also inebriated.

They were both inebriated, which caused their vision to be hazy and prevented them from seeing each other's faces properly.

"How about sleeping with me tonight? she asked as she seized the clothing covering his chest.

Are you sure, huh? That's all Grey had to say.

Being a workaholic prevented him from making time for ladies, so hearing this woman ask him to sleep with her was undoubtedly a favor. How was he able to refuse?

The voice was extremely lovely, deep and pleasant.

She had rosy cheeks, soft, uncertain voice, and blurry eyes. Extremely appealing.

Grey grinned and stooped. Karen's feet then abruptly shot up into the air.

She let out a little scream in panic. She gripped unconsciously to the man's clothing.

Karen's body heat and dryness both increased during the passionate kiss.

Controlling it was a little challenging because they seemed to be shredding their garments continually.

There was a strong desire that existed in the center of her body like a black hole. She desired something to fill her.

Do you want me to perform the task here, woman? Grey's voice was a muddle.

"Then let's lodge in a room here.. I need your passionate love right now!" Karen was in the man's arms as he scowled and entered the elevator without stopping.

The man pushed Karen into the elevator and then got in. But then all of a sudden, he leaned against the wall, kissed her all over.

It was an arrogant kiss that was not soft but rather like a wolf in the wild stealing their own meal.

She was terrified by this close contact, but the dryness and heat in her body subsided. She then crept up on tiptoe and started to satisfy her craving.

The man's kiss withdrew as she was unsure of which floor the elevator went to. Karen felt a little annoyed, but she was unable to express it further since he was pulling her inside a room.

After locating a room, Grey placed his card at the door of the room and it opened, then they both got in.

Karen swiftly pulled back her entire reserve.

she took her cloths off and charmingly stated eyes, pleading with him to ruthlessly devour her.

All over Grey's body, his blood began to pulse erratically.

Karen was pushed to the bed by him, and he pressed her firmly.
