Only Vampire Can Love You Forever

It was fine Sunday morning; Alyssa was waking up her sisters. She had two step-sisters, the youngest was called Juliet and the middle one was named Luna. Alyssa loved Sunday because it was another day of school and she loved studying more than anything. Just like Alyssa, Juliet loved school as well because of drama classes, art, and crafts but on the other hand, Luna wasn’t a big fan of studying. Luna was into dancing, singing, and most of all into all kinds of sports. She was an athlete in her school, unlike Alyssa who was called a nerd and Juliet who was called fashion queen.

The weekend was now over and Luna was being lazy as usual unlike her sister Alyssa who was waking her sisters up while getting ready for school. Alyssa walked out of her room again and again only to knock on Juliet and Luna’s room so they could reach school on time. Alyssa quickly put on a black skirt with a pink shirt with tiny blue hearts that were printed on it. Alyssa combed her wavy waist-length silky auburn hair and put them up in a braid. She wore her favorite pink boots as she picked up her mobile and her bag. She walked out of her room but she knocked on Luna and Juliet’s room door one last time as she went down to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for herself.

By now Juliet was up and she was getting ready. She was excited to go to school like every other day but what excited her the most was her art class today. Juliet quickly scanned her cupboard and tried to find the perfect outfit because she was known as the fashion queen for no reason. She took her passion to dress up perfectly every day very seriously. Juliet found a perfect outfit as she took it out and stripped her nightdress. She quickly wore her baby blue dress with a white floral print on it.

Juliet hummed a melody as she sat on the stool and applied light nude makeup on her face. She smiled at herself as she applied lip gloss in the end. She took out her curler and combed her straight chest-length long platinum hair curling them in the end. Juliet stood up as she twirled around and looked at her reflection in the mirror.

“smile and don’t be rude no matter what “she reminded herself knowing boys loved her a lot. She was popular and being popular means love letters with loads of attention. Juliet loved attention but she was searching for this one guy and till now she couldn’t find him. She had no clue who he would be, how he would look like but all she wanted was that he would love her no matter what. She quickly wore her baby blue and white sandals as she grabbed her mobile, bag, and gloss. She walked out of her room and knocked on the door that belonged to Luna’s room. She walked down the stairs as she looked at her step-sister who was older than her. “Good Morning Alyssa” Juliet chirped happily as she sat on her respected seat. “Good Morning Julie, did you sleep well?” Alyssa questioned after her greetings as Juliet hummed with they heard a loud bang from Luna’s room making them laugh knowing the sleeping queen had finally woken up.

Luna woke up with Alyssa shouting and knocking on her door but she stayed in bed until she heard a soft knock, she quickly realized it was Juliet this time so she finally got up this time. She was right now feeling very angry and grumpy. She was the total opposite of her step-sisters. Even though the three girls weren’t related by blood, they loved each other like real siblings. Luna made her way towards the washroom. She did all her daily routine within 10 minutes including brushing her teeth and taking a quick shower. Luna dried her body and wore everything she prepared last night in case she ends up getting late.

Luna quickly exited the washroom and wore her black ripped jeans with a sleeveless green shirt. She brushed her loose curly black hair that touched her shoulder as she quickly made wore her headphones around her neck. Luna took out her black sneakers as she wore them but after she wore her socks. She applied lip balm and kept it in her bag and rechecked her books as she stuffed her earbuds, money, charger, chewing gum box, and her mobile in her bag. She took her MP3 player as she connected it with her headphones and played one of her favorite song ‘one foot by walk the moon.’ The volume was full-on high so she could hear it without even wearing it on her ears. She danced as she walked out of the room and down the stairs where she saw her family sitting and enjoying breakfast.

“Good Morning Alyse, Julie, Dad,” Luna said as she sat on her respected seat and took her plate that Alyssa prepared for her. “for the hundred times Luna, don’t call me Alyse. It’s so weird” Alyssa said annoyed as Luna shrugged and started eating her breakfast. Luna loved teasing her sisters. “Luna dear, when did you dye your hair?” The girls adopted father Charlie asked as Luna chuckled and shook her head. “Dad it’s a clip-on. I saw it in a shop while we were walking back home and found it cool. Plus it’s my favorite color green and it has the same hair texture as mine” Charlie chuckled nodding as he kept his newspaper away. “girls, I might be late today so don’t wait for me and have your dinner on time” The girls nodded as they stood up and hugged their father.

They grabbed their bags as they exited the house. “race you to school?” Luna questioned as she wore her helmet and kept her skateboard on the ground while she wore her bag. “yeah, I’m going to win this time” Alyssa said as she giggled sitting on her pink and purple bicycle. She kept her bag in the basket just like how Juliet did with hers but Juliet's bicycle was blue with white spots on it. Alyssa and Juliet wore their helmets as they looked at each other.

“ready,” Juliet said out loud

“set” Alyssa now said out loud

“go” Luna yelled as they raced to their school. Luna and Juliet were in 9th grade whereas Alyssa was in 10th grade. After skating and bicycling for 8 minutes, the girls finally reached their school. “yes, I win” Luna cheered as she grabbed her skateboard laughing. “you cheated, I’m sure” Alyssa huffed annoyed as Juliet suddenly stopped and parked her cycle with Alyssa’s as she got down. “aww I’m last again” Juliet cried out as she crossed her arms and pouted.

“come on guys, you can’t beat me in anything,” Luna said confidently as she gave her step-sister’s a toothy grin. “one day we will,” Juliet said sticking her tongue out as they entered the school and walked towards their locker. “did you see James? He looked so adorable” Alyssa said crushing on the boy as Luna snorted. “sorry Alyssa, I’m not into my basketball teammates besides I’m not into love and stuff so stop pointing and throwing random dudes at me,” Luna said as she leaned against the locker while Alyssa took out her biology book and kept her chemistry book inside.

“hey beautiful” Alyssa, Juliet, and Luna turned around to see Eliot. “argh not you again” Luna cried out as she rolled her eyes. “oh come on, I know you liked me,” Eliot said smirking as he wrapped his arm around Luna as she rolled her eyes once again at Eliot. “yeah ‘liked’ as in past tense. Not interested in a two-timing jerk like you” Luna sassed back as she smirked and pushed Eliot’s arm away. “ you aren’t worthy enough to be with my sister” Juliet said as she closed her locker and looked at Eliot who glared at her.

“you bitch” Eliot said as he raised his hand “don’t you dare touch her” Luna warned as she suddenly kicked him making Eliot fall on the floor. “Luna, do you want to get detention right after the holidays?” Alyssa whispered angrily. “no one tries to slap my sister or calls her a bitch” Luna warned Eliot as he glared at them while Luna glared back but Alyssa closed her and Luna’s locker and grabbed their hand walking away from Eliot and his group of friends.

“Luna, no matter what don’t fight him. He isn’t a good guy and if I’m not wrong he would take revenge because you kicked him in his gut and he fell, students saw and few snickered. He is dangerous so stay away and don’t go near him” Alyssa warned Luna as snorted. “it’s not like I love roaming around him and fangirling of how amazing he is. I ain’t like that at all. He deserved my flying kick. He tried to hit my sister and you both know that angers me” Luna blurted out the truth annoyed making Alyssa huff and gave up.

Luna was the strongest one out of her sisters whereas Alyssa was the brain and Juliet was the shyness and beauty. They completed each other. Eliot walked away as he looked back at Luna who waved at him smirking. “you ok?” Juliet questioned as she kept her hand on Luna’s shoulder smiling as Luna looked at her confidently and replied “never been better” making Juliet feel at ease. “good to know” Juliet said making Alyssa smile at her sisters. The bell suddenly rang as Luna groaned knowing classes were just about to begin and her first subject was math and she likes P.E only unlike Alyssa who got excited for biology and Juliet for having art and craft first thing in the morning.

“best of luck” Juliet giggled out to her sisters who looked back at her and waved at her as Juliet parted her way and went towards the room 4 for art and craft. “stay out of trouble,” Alyssa said smiling as Luna chuckled and replied “I am trouble” making Alyssa shake her head. Both girls separated their ways and went to their classes. Alyssa went to room 14 for Biology and Luna went to room 20 for Mathematics. The girls were now busy in their classes Juliet was walking towards her room just like her sisters when the fire drill suddenly rang making Juliet scared as she turned around from the way she came.

Luna stopped suddenly right after she heard the fire drill and huffed turning around and sprinting towards her sister knowing it’s not a false alarm because she saw students running out of the classroom. On the other hand, Alyssa without thinking went directly to Juliet knowing she would be scared. The speaker suddenly echoed and screeched making Juliet, and Alyssa stop running. They stopped moving forward as students bumped into them. Luna didn’t stop, she kept on running towards her sisters knowing they would need her and she always promised she would be there for them and she wasn’t going to break that promise cause of a small announcement.

“ALL STUDENTS AND TEACHERS, PLEASE STAY SAFE AND GO HOME. DUE TO AN EMERGENCY, THE SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED FOR TODAY. SOME PEOPLE HAVE ENTERED OUR BUILDING AND ARE DANGEROUS SO STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND GO HOME QUICKLY”

Tears started streaming down Juliet’s eyes as she fell on the floor, she couldn’t get up because her body started shaking due to fear. She couldn’t think properly anymore, she saw students running away and bumping into each other when her eyes landed on Alyssa making her feel a bit relaxed. “ALYSSA” Juliet yelled when Alyssa's eyes landed on her younger sister so she quickly went to her side and grabbed her arm. “quickly get up and let’s find Luna,” Alyssa said as Juliet nodded standing up when they felt someone hand on their shoulder making them scream in fear.

“Hey it’s just me you guys,” Luna said out of breath as she grabbed both of their hands and looked at them. “I am here and I won’t let anyone harm you so let’s go” The girls nodded as they locked hand and ran with Luna leading the way. She led them and avoided bumping into the students, she took few rights and left and led them towards the west wing of the school. “don’t worry, I know where I am taking you” Luna said out of breath when she suddenly stopped and opened the window and looked down to see the P.E mats making her sigh in relief.

“We need to jump so Alyse will go first and after that Jewels, you have to go,” Luna said as she kept on looking down and thinking if her sisters would jump or not when suddenly she heard steps coming towards them making them scared but Luna pushed away all her fear for her sisters. “we need to jump now,” Luna said hurriedly as Alyssa and Juliet nodded. “watch out,” Luna said as she saw two unknown guys keep their hand on her sister’s mouth to prevent them from screaming. “let them g-“Luna couldn’t complete her sentence as she was twirled and turned around as her face met a strong, broad chest making her gasp. Luna quickly looked up angrily as her breath got caught in her throat when her eyes met unique green orbs making her go mute.
