Chapter 7
The week pretty much went on with Alexander piling up my work and me going back home to the apartment past seven pm.
Finally, the weekend arrived and it was time for me to move into my new apartment. I woke up at around nine, got up and went to have a shower. I wore a pair of denim shorts with a white tank top and white flip flops, I decided to just tie my hair up in a messy bun and got to packing.
Three hours later, I was done packing and decided to have an early lunch so I ordered for pizza. While I was waiting for the pizza to arrive, I decided to double check to see if I had left anything behind.
Twenty minutes later the pizza came and I ate while watching Netflix, waiting for Bella to come back from work to help me move to my new home. As I was in the middle of an episode of The Originals, I heard the front door opening so I paused to see who it was, as I was expecting Bella. Indeed it was Bella coming in with groceries from the supermarket. I got up and helped her bring the things in a put them away.
After Bella helping me take my suitcases and bags to my apartment, she helped me unpack them while we were laughing and talking. After two hours of unpacking, she went home and I was left by myself in this new unfamiliar place.

I groaned as there was a loud and annoying doing waking me up from my slumber. I touched around my bedside table looking for my phone with my eye still closed, I finally gave in and looked for my phone. I switched of the alarm as I went to the bathroom that connected to my room to have a shower.
After showering, I went and looked through my closet to find something to wear. I finally settled on a beige skirt that went just above my knees, a white button up short sleeved shirt tucked into the skirt with a beige cardigan and nude heels. For makeup all I did was mascara and lipgloss.
Since I had fifteen minutes to spare, I just made a cup of coffee and toast. I hailed a cab and gave the driver the address I was going to. I paid him as I jumped out of the cab and entered the building.
I went straight to the elevators and pressed the button that had the number sixty on it. When I got to the floor I work at, Charlotte was already there and as usual, was on her phone. I walked past her and went straight to my office.
I set my bag down on my desk and switched on my laptop. I worked on the work I hadn't finished yesterday until I looked up at the clock reading eight forty five. I stood up and walked out of my office and towards the elevator.
When I reached Alexander's office, I didn't bother knocking since he always wasn't in until nine sharp. When I opened the door, he was in the middle of taking off his suit jacket. The way his muscles moved had me hypnotized. "Ahem", he cleared his voice and I blushed a deep color of red, thank god I was dark skinned so it didn't show that much when I blushed. "I'm s-sorry s-sir, I didn't know you had come so I didn't bother knocking since I thought you hadn't yet arrived" I rambled as he just stared at me blankly. I set his coffee on his desk and made my way out of his office.
When I got to my office I couldn't help but replay what just happened. He caught me ogling him! I groaned in frustration, the embarrassment eating me up.
The intercom went of and I'm came his voice "Ms Anderson, in my office, now" and with that said, I got really scared. What had I done wrong? "Yes sir" I replied before knocking on the doors that joined our offices.
When I entered I expected him to be sitting on his desk but instead he was sitting on the couches with the sleeves of his crisp whit shirt folded up to his elbows and thousands of papers scattered around the coffee table, "sir?" He hummed in response before looking up to me, "Ms Anderson, I need you to help me with completing this work" and with that said, he went back to reading the sheets of paper that were in his hands. I sighed and went to sit down beside him. This is going to take a long time.

By the time we had finished with the work, I had ditched my cardigan and heels and was now bear footed kneeling in front of the coffee table with the last piece of paper work in my hand. As for Alexander, he had removed his tie and had unbuttoned the top two buttons of his shirt, I honestly wasn't complaining at all at the sight in front of me.
I picked up my heels, as I wasn't ready to walk in them again and picked up my cardigan and walked back to my office to retrieve my handbag. When I had gathered up my stuff, I poked my head back into Alexander's office and waved like I have been doing for the last week, but instead of ignoring me, he nodded and went back to what he was doing.
