Chapter 8: I like you

As Jimin entered the small cozy coffee shop where Jihyo worked, his heart purred at the sight of her working here and there. It hasn't been a month, but she already caught and stomped on his heart in just a span of a few days. It's making him insane in a good way. He walked towards the table, not wanting to disturb her as she cleaned up, and waited for the others to come.

Minutes passed, none of them arrived yet until such certain guy entered the shop in a hurry, panting along the way.

The guy with broad and wide shoulders went towards the counter, removing his things as he went towards the small room behind before going to the counters as he grabbed the apron. Jimin was guessing he could be a worker here.

Jimin took a glimpse at Jihyo who stood straight up with a smile plastered on her face making his body boil in anger as his hands clenched in fist.

How could she smile at him other than me?

His lips quiver at the thought of any other man touching her and heart screamed in agonizing pain as she gets nearer to the man. She stood face to face with the man, giggling and laughing, not noticing the man who was tables away has his entire body tremble in anger. The longer time she takes to talk with the man with that stupid smile playing on her lips, the more it makes Jimin's mind go insane.

They were flirting right in front of his face. He started to wonder, Who is he?

"Are you okay, Jimin?" He snapped his head above to see Namjoon with a confused look on his face with Yoongi beside him who was oblivious—just like always.

"Hyung!" Jimin hissed, brows knitted together in anger making the two stepped back in surprise.

"What happened to you?" Namjoon asked, taking a sit next to Jimin as Yoongi sat across them. "Calm down!"

Pressing his lips into thin line, he bit the inside of his cheeks trying to control his anger. He sighed, unclenching his fist before rolling his eyes as he goes back to himself—pretending self.

Jimin closed his eyes tightly, letting out a deep breath before opening them, and looked above with a forced out smile on his face. "Hyungs, you're here?"

The thought of her with another had drove Jimin out crazy.

Just like any usual day, Jihyo was spending her entire day working at the shop as she cleaned up the tables until she saw Jin running his way towards the shop. Gladly, he made it on time.

He ran past her, putting his things inside the storage room, and quickly wearing the apron on before she stood straight up to approach him.

"Oppa," Jihyo smiled, as Jin smiled back in return. "I'm glad you're not late this time."

"Sorry if I keep getting late, Jihyo." Jin winked making her giggle.

"I guess I'm finished with the shift now." She said, rolling her eyes as she removed the apron, and winced at the same time.

"Are you okay?" Jin asked, worriedly as he eyed her. He snorted, eyes on the slap mark on her arms. "Did your Aunt hit you again?"

Jihyo hissed at him making him chuckle. He knew that her Aunt always hit her— but not in an abusive way, and he makes fun of it since all the slap mark she got are from either her being disobedient or staying out late.

"What is it this time?" He asked, trying to be serious but soon laughed— his windshield laugh, making her groan in annoyance as she sighed.

"She hit me for staying out late without telling her, and not keeping my promise on buying Jonathan his toys." She grumbled, partly telling the truth, and he stopped, raising an eyebrow at her.

"Seriously?" Jin snorted this time making her growl at him.

"Don't judge me, you malo man." She snapped, glaring at him. But he continued mocking her as he sang Havana.

"Havana oh Na Na." He hummed. He didn't noticed the lady's gaze until he looked at her with intense death glare making him clear his throat and avoided her gaze.

Jihyo stomped on her feet, removing the apron and entered the storage room, grabbing her stuffs. She put the apron on the counter.

"Adiós, mi amigo!" Jin said, winked. He knew too much that she couldn't stay mad at him making her let out a small chuckle before greeting goodbye as well.

Jihyo stopped her tracks, noticing the group of friends with Namjoon and Jimin being there before approaching them.

"Jimin? Namjoon?" They looked at her, a smile appearing on their lips.

"Jihyo?" They both said in unison, looking surprise—well, not in Jimin's case.

Jihyo looked at the person across them, who was beside her, to see the pale man whom she met days ago.

"You're—"

"It's Yoongi, not Yoongay." He scoffed making her cheeks flushed in embarrassment as the two looked at them in confusion. He reached out for his hand. "It's Min Yoongi."

"Sure." She muttered, nodding and bit her lips in nervousness. She took his hand, slowly shook it with their eyes fixed.

He got beautiful eyes, and his black hair truly suited him.

"You two met already?" Namjoon asked, making both of them stopped, and tearing their gazes away. Jihyo nodded in response.

"Great!" Jimin beamed—more like a forced out, slightly clapping his hands, adorably. "Since all of us knows each other, why not join us? You're done with your shift, right?"

Jihyo once again nodded, looking over at Yoongi who slide himself for her to sit beside him in which she hesitantly sat— not bothering the jealous and possessive expression the man had in front of them.

Yoongi faced her. "Jihyo, it's nice to meet you again."

Jihyo raised an eyebrow at him. "How did you know my name?"

Confused as to why he knew her name when they just met days ago, and she didn't even introduced herself.

"I saw your name tag back then, and these two called you by your name." Yoongi replied nonchalantly making Jihyo blushed again. She looked at Jimin who was agitated the whole time as he looked at the two who was flirting— in his eyes.

"Dude," Namjoon hit Jimin's shoulder lightly. "Why are you so restless?"

"What?" Jimin groaned, leaning back and looked away. "I am not."

"Sorry about him." Namjoon said, showing his dimpled smile. "He haven't much encountered girls since his whole life has been locked up inside a convent."

Jihyo blushed at his words, once again.

And that was it, it triggered something inside Park Jimin as he grabbed her hands without any noticed and pulled her away from the flirting dudes. He gripped on her wrist, aggressively opening the door before making their way out of the shop— leaving the two, speechless.

"What are you doing?" Jihyo struggled, stopping Jimin as both of them halted.

He turned around, staring at her as if looking right through her soul. He didn't noticed how gorgeous her eyes were—that made him lost on his way inside them, until now.

Jihyo, on the other hand, couldn't stop staring at his beautiful brown eyes as well.

"I need to tell you something." he said, heavily breathing as he became agitated each second. "I cannot wait any longer."

"What—"

"I like you." Jimin said, straightforwardly, with his hands twitching rather uncontrollably before looking down as he fiddled them.

"What?" Jihyo was taken aback by his sudden confession.

He shyly said. "I like you as much as I like cats."

Needless to say, Jimin said what he wanted to say. He just needed courage to tell her his true feelings. Thus, he gathered up his confidence as he straightforwardly said the next words.

"I like you." his fist clenched. "So please don't go around liking another guy."
