Chapter 3
The bathroom was heavy with water, and I had expected Carol to strip Sebastian clean as she couldn't wait.
But I didn't expect Carol to make a move that I didn't expect.
She helped Sebastian into the bathtub to lie down, and while the bathtub was draining, she turned on the recognition function of a shopping app and scanned Sebastian's entire body.
From big jackets and ties to small socks and rings.
"I can't believe this tie costs 5,000 ...... ring 100,000 ...... watch 300,000 ......"
The more she scanned Carol's eyes lit up, not even noticing the water filling the tub.
It wasn't until the hot water trickled down to her feet that she realized with a jolt that she'd gotten too immersed.
After fumbling to turn the water off, she began to undress Sebastian.
During this time Carol looked natural and put the removed ring and watch, on her left hand.
At Sebastian's pale, lean nude body, Carol's cheeks blushed slightly and her eyebrows rose as she unconsciously ran her hands up Sebastian's abs, rubbing them gently.
Sebastian slowly opened his eyes, feeling the restless hand on the small of his back as his eyes grew cold.
I couldn't help but laugh out loud as I lay in bed watching the monitor.
Branded by Sebastian as an indiscreet, unself-loving person, Carol is not far from death.
Carol's wrist was caught unawares by Sebastian, but she didn't realize the vibe was off and shyly leaned half her body into Sebastian's arms.
"Sir, you're finally awake, it took me a lot of effort to pick you up today~" Carol pouted and pouted.
Sebastian stifled a grunt and was silent for a moment, pushing down the murderous intent in his eyes and saying reluctantly, "Tough luck."
I bounced violently off the bed.
Nope.
That's not how things are supposed to go.
After zooming in on the surveillance footage, Sebastian's unusual behavior had an explanation.
He's hurt.
Sebastian's back was covered in bruises and cuts, and blood was seeping out of the wounds that had been submerged in the water.
Carol is so neurotic that she not only doesn't realize it, but she's also a sucker for Sebastian's arms.
With his back full of untreated wounds soaked in hot water, Sebastian soon passes out again from the pain.
"Why are you so weak, will you be able to have children in the future?" Carol grumbled with some displeasure, unconsciously.
After a couple of perfunctory washes, he tried to lift Sebastian out of the water.
Only to find Sebastian rolling in heat and blushing uncharacteristically.
Carol rushed to scoop him out of the tub, help him to his bed, and scrutinize Sebastian's body.
Afraid he'll die.
When her eyes touched the wound on his back, Carol was filled with pain and took the ointment and gently applied it.
"It's not easy for you sir, going out and being assassinated by enemies, how painful it must be to have so many wounds."
"But it's okay, I'll protect you after you're with me."
Carol speaks with such affection that I just find it laughable.
Instead of feeling sorry for her own sister, who she had caused to drop out of school for chemotherapy, she felt sorry for a strange man whose name she didn't even know.
The last vestiges of the heart's expectations for Carol evaporated at that moment.
