Chapter 4

Meanwhile... Gabrielle smiled at Chase foolishly because she had been teasing it. Supposedly she will feed it but the ending, the food will land in her mouth. She is really hungry and come what may!

"The tapa is delicious, Sir. Do you want it?" she was still teasing.

Chase bit his lip so hard. He raised an eyebrow. Gabrielle was not aware that they had been sharing the same spoon before. And that was a form of indirect kissing... He grabbed his chin and shook his head slightly. He took a deep breath. What else is he thinking?

"Ehem! All right. Eat it. I'll take care of myself. It's also useless for me to let you fed me because you eat more than I do." he just said.

"Okay Sir. I'm sorry, I'm really hungry."

Gabrielle dropped the spoon and faced her own dish and then she realized an incident... She shared the same plate and spoon with her boss. Her whole face became hot and she could not move. She was no longer able to spoon her own rice and dish. Chase stopped eating when he saw the girl's whole face was red. It looks like, she realized something and he knows what it is.

"Gabo, are you okay?"

Gabrielle hesitated to look at her boss. She bowed.

"I-I'm embarrassed. Sorry..." she apologized.

Chase looked carefully at the girl's face. Tears welled up in her eyes.

"That's okay. Don't cry. They might say, I'm oppressing you here in the morning. Eat up."

He put the rice and the dish on its plate. The girl remained bent over and did not move.

"Hoy, let's eat!"

Gabrielle blinked as her companion's finger flicked in front of her. She looked at her plate and was amazed because it contained food. She did not notice how it was placed... She looked at Chase.

"T-Thank you po Sir..."

"Aww... Remove the word every time you talk to me. Sir is okay. As long as you never put po. Okay? I'm not that old for you."

Gabrielle nodded softly. She started eating but she could not do it properly because the embarrassing behavior she had behaved before. She ate quietly for the whole moment. Time seems to be slowing down.

After they ate, her boss prepared to leave. He said he had something to take care of.

"I'm going to the ranch. Come with Guile this afternoon, bring me some food. There we will have lunch. Stay here first and be kind."

"What am I going to do here?"

"It's up to you what you want to do here at home. Just don't forget what I ordered. Okay?"

Chase messed up her hair.

"Bye, Gabo!"

"Gabrielle is my name, don't distort it!"

The young man laughed at her before drinking.

"Of course. Sir Chase, always have something good to offer. He is not stingy. But anyway... What if he suddenly thinks that he will court you? That's just a style. You know we guys, we have different ways of getting attention."

"It's broken. Maybe he just can't do anything with his money. Plus, he has a backlog with me so he just recovers. I had an accident yesterday here in his beloved land." she replied.

Guile did not speak because he had already eaten. Moments later they heard a rapid roar of the motor. They looked to the front and parked a sky-blue ducati there. The rider immediately removed the helmet and got out of the vehicle. It was carrying a bouquet of white-roses. The man smiled and looked at her. She looked behind her but there was no one else there. She is the one being looked at. It has deep dimples on both cheeks. The male is only moderately coloured, whitish-brown. The body is beautifully built and its straight hair has a cool haircut. Its light blue eyes grab attention. It walked closer to her and its smile remained. She looked up at the man puzzled because he was tall... Infact, he was a little taller than Chase. He grabbed her hands and placed the bouquet of flowers there while staring intently at her face.

"I'm glad your okay, Miss. I was really stupid. It's not my intention to harm you. Please, accept the apology of this handsome beast..."

It kept holding her hands tightly. She frowned.

"W-What are you saying? Who are you?" she asked puzzled.

"The tranquilizer..? I'm really sorry about that. By the way... My name is Sky Heavenly at your service."

He held her right hand and kissed it. She already knows the man because she saw it in the picture recently and this is what Chase says she needs to be careful of? And it looks like, she gets why...

"I-I'm Gabrielle De Jesus. N-Nice to meet you?"

It blushed and he was happy with its reaction. Guile, who had been watching before, noticed.

"I have something to report." he whispered to Sky.

The man simply looked at him and challenged to smile.

"Go ahead, report it." Sky's stubborn language.

Gabrielle moved slightly away from the young man. Guile snatched his phone from his pants pocket. He meant to show it to Sky but it didn't matter. Meanwhile...

"What tranquilizer are you saying?" Gabrielle asked.

Sky held a simple smile.

"I was the one who hit you with the tranquilizer yesterday so you fell and lost consciousness. I was the one who injured you, my dear."

"What?!"

After that, Gabrielle couldn’t restrained herself and Pak! She slapped the handsome young man in the face.

"So its you!" she said angrily.

Sky smiled and rubbed his cheek. He mischievously looked at the woman and made a peace sign. Gabrielle was amazed by Sky because of the madman's wide smile despite her strong slap.

"Do you know that I kiss the women who slap me? But because I'm guilty of it, I'll let you go. Again, my sincerest apology... I'm sorry."

The young man winked at Gabrielle with a smirk on his cheek. The latter laughed and shook her head. She was amazed.

"You're funny." she smiled.

Sky relaxed and stared at her face.

"You too. Do you think we two match ah?"

Gabrielle shook her head slightly.

"I don't like men that are womanizer." she answered quickly.

Sky laughed softly.

"Don't believe Chase. He's just insulting me. I'm a good person, Gabrielle."

"Really?"

"Uhum... So, how are you?"

"It's okay."

"Are you leaving here tomorrow? Do you want to take me where you are going? Or if you have nowhere else to go, just go with me."

"Thank you for the offer. The truth is, I already have a job here. Sir Chase took me back from what happened yesterday..."

Sky raised an eyebrow and held onto his chin.

"Take you back? I should be the one to take you back because I am really to blame for you. Is it okay if my recovery is just a date?"

Gabrielle's smile never faded. Sky is fresh but its freshness is not disgusting. It's funny because the former is not arrogant. (When we say a man is fresh or in tagalog presko... It means, he is too confident and straightforward)

"I will ask my boss when my day-off will be."

Sky nodded softly.

"By the way... What job did the good Chase give you here? He is arrogant to be the boss. But me, I am not like that, in fact, I am the type of boss who loves and serves..."

Gabrielle scratched her forehead. The guy is flirting. Meanwhile... Chase is irritated because his phone is ringing. He is in the mango farm and its harvest time so he is a bit busy. He took his phone out of his pocket and saw Guile calling. He answered his call angrily.

"Oh why?" his irritated answer.

"I have something to report to you, Sir Chase..." this language is foolish.

"What is that?" his lazy language.

"Sir Sky came here and flirted with your beautiful Nanny. He even thought he was going to pirate her from you eh."

Tooot! The call has ended. Disgusted Chase shuddered.

"That Sky is really shameless! I'm being teased! Naughty!"

After that, he hurriedly went to the place where his horse Lightning was. His stallion is white with a matte brown. He quickly got on it and drove back home. Surprisingly, Chase's staff in the mango looked on.

"What happened to Sir?"

Chase raised his right eyebrow.

Gabrielle was confused when she looked at the young man.
