Chapter 5

"HOY!... YOU ANIMALS!" "Sgt. Andrada.

Moments later, they heard rapid footsteps. It seems that at the end, July finally got the attention of their opponents. A man arrived holding an M16 rifle. This is what caught Amber.

"Shut up! You're annoying!"

But July did not stop, then, Duke added to the noise. He join him. Disgusted, the man approached the cell and slammed the gun on Sgt. July. But before the Sergeant could be struck he immediately grabbed the gun and pulled the man closer to him, surprised at what he had done. And Pvt. Duke immediately grabbed the man and covered his mouth. He also wreck the man’s neck. The guy fell dead. Amber close her eyes to the whole moment because she could not stand what was happening. The two soldiers quickly took the weapons attached to the man. Duke used thin steel to open the cell lock. Sgt. July face his wounded comrades.

"Don't worry, we'll get back to you."

Pvt. Michael, Cpl. Alias, and Pfc. Erick didn’t say a word. They just saluted July. Duke then proceeded to unlock the lock in Amber's cell while July was watching around. Amber heard her cell open. She slowly open her eyes and saw Duke's face. Its right hand is outstretched.

"Congratulations, Ma’m. You are free." smiling its language.

He reached for her hand and helped her to her feet.

"Thank you."

She glanced at the wounded in the other cell. They greeted her and because of that, she was encouraged. She had to pour out all the courage she had. This is far worse rather than she faces court and debates. July was ahead of their group and Duke was with her. They walk slowly upwards and July carefully surveys the surroundings. He spotted a guard at the door. It signaled to Duke that they should stop first. He was carrying an M16 rifle with him. The force of her chest throbbing and she did not know how many times she had been swallowed her saliva.

July walked like a cat to the guard next to the door. He was leaning against the wall so that he would not be noticed. He slowly approached it and when he finally got to where it was he immediately pulled the man's neck, covered his mouth and after that he wrecked his neck. As much as possible, they should not make noise. They have to get out of the building or they can get Amber out. The man fell down and as before, he confiscated the weapons he was holding. He motioned for Duke and Amber to approach him. The two followed carefully.

Amber was stunned when Sgt. Andrada handed her a caliber fourty-five gun. She hesitated to get it.

"We can't always protect you, Ma'm."

She looked puzzled at the gun he was holding and at the faces of her companions.

"A-Ahm... I-I don't know how to use it." She almost muttered when she spoke.

"Don't worry, it's easy. I'll teach you, Ma'm." Duke's present.

He looked at it and at the gun she was holding. She just nodded as a sign of approval. She could do nothing but agree.

"This is the rear sight of the gun, here you look when you point at the opponent. This is the trigger, you already know what that is for. This is safety lock. Magazine catch and most importantly, make sure you pull the trigger when you point at the opponent. Go ahead before you get shot."

The whole moment Duke speaks she listens intently.

"Okay..."

"Congratulations, Ma'm. You know now how to shoot."

The wind blew her away. She seemed even more nervous. Sgt. Andrada move forward and they carefully followed it. It carefully studies the routine of the guards around the building. They had no other way but the main door and it was surrounded by armed guards, and there are more guards outside the fortress.

Sgt. Andrada sign to them to prepare. It prepared its gun at the opponent. M16 rifle. It rushed and immediately shot the armed men who were there. Duke covers July as it moves forward. It threw a grenade at the door and there was a loud explosion. It was chaotic because many were blown up. After the explosion they took advantage of the short opportunity to get out of the building permanently. Her comrades continued to shoot. They stop at spots where they can cover. The gate remained closed, the height was extreme, and many were waiting for them there. All of them was on the side of the wall and their position is far from the gate. They hide behind old tires piled on the side. That serves as their shield against the bullets of the opponents.

"Duke, take Ma'm up the wall. I'll cover you. We are all dead when we force ourselves to go through the gate. They are all waiting there." July commanded.

"Copy that!"

Duke turned to her.

"Okay!" her immediate answer.

Duke stood up, adjusting his hands to raise her foot. She swallowed and did not speak. She just obeyed.

"Promise, I'll ask for help. Just, live!" she said.

"Yes, Ma'm!"

She stepped on Duke's hands and then stepped on his shoulders. She grabbed the wall and Duke slowly stood up. She reached the end of the wall and she immediately climbed up there but she struggled a bit so Duke even pushed her feet. When she finally reached the wall she immediately hung up there and slid her body down to the other side. She fell backwards to the ground and the pain of her body. She hears loud gunfire. She crossed over and immediately stood up. She ran away from the place. Her main goal is to get out of the forest and ask for help.

Meanwhile... Siege turned to the west side of the forest. He heard a collision.

"Gunshots."

He carefully headed to the place where he could hear the collision. He was grabbed by the radio device he was carrying. He felt hope, his colleagues were still alive.

"Unit A! Roger! Roger! Unit A!"

Still no one answered even one of him. But he does not stop contacting, he does not despair. His companions had abilities so he knew they could not be killed easily. He continued to run and he carefully felt around.

Meanwhile... Amber is very tired and she gasps when she stops running. She leaned against a large trunk of a tree and sat down. Then, she suddenly remembered the radio device given to her by Sgt. Andrada. She wiped the sweat off her face and immediately took the gadget out of her pants pocket. She pressed the green button and it turned on. She was startled by the sudden sound.

"Roger! Roger! Roger! Unit A!..."

She took a deep breath and ignorantly she put the device near her mouth.

"Roger! Unit A! Roger! Roger!"

"This is not Roger, Sir! This is Amber!" she replied.

Siege was stunned when he heard the answer from the other line. He grabbed the radio and was so shocked that he suddenly threw it.

"DAMN!" he shouted loudly.

Is the person on the other line was playing on him?! This is no time for JOKE!

Amber was even more frightened when the person on the other line dropped the call. She was frustrated and she combed her hair with her right hand. Did she say something wrong? She slowly stand up and ran away. All she had to do was get out of the woods and get outside contact. Only, she knew that Gener Umali had scattered personnel. She tightened her grip on the gun given to her by Sgt. Andrada. Hopefully, they are still okay. She hopes they are still alive until she can ask for help so they can be rescued. She continued to run until...

“EEeeh!”

She was stunned when suddenly someone pulled her and locked her hands, using only one hand. The stranger's other hand covered her mouth. She lay down on what the opponent did and it overtook her. She closed her eyes tightly in fear. Here is what she fears!

Siege blinked and could not believe when he saw the face of the person he caught. A great surprise flashed through his whole being. He gently removed his hand from its mouth and his lock on its arms.

"Attorney?!" his language shocked.
